Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser-6 oz

I've been using it, I think, ever since I saw a commercial for it. I like the mild smell of it. I like how my skin feels after I use it. And the fact that it has minimal chemical content is the most important part of it.

However, I have an oily skin and I think it might not be ideal for people with drier types of skin because they might feel it makes their skin a bit too tight. But for me, it works perfectly. I also have an acne probe skin. It affects the acne only in a positive way. I don't want to change it. Hope it stays on the market.

I bought this face wash for my boyfriend since it claims to be natural and free of dye's and chemicals. However after a week of using it he developed a rash type breakout on his forehead, we couldn't figure out what was the problem, then over time his whole face began to breakout with cystic pimples and clusters of red bumps. I decided to look up reviews and have come across quite a few others explaining the same situation. Neutrogena Naturals was the only new thing added to his daily regimen. After a few weeks of using it and having symptoms get worse he decided to stop using it and already his breakouts are starting to improve, this face wash even gave him dry skin under his eyes. My boyfriend normally has great skin, but I guess these ingredients are too harsh for him.

This feels great on my skin. It cleanses well but is not too harsh. It also has a wonderful, natural smell. I will definitely be buying it again!

I was surprised how much I like this cleanser-I have used Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser (oil free) for years and as my go-to skin fixer-upper when other products mess it up. After reading a few articles and blogs, I had a negative opinion of the all organic skin care movement since many of the products end up being too harsh for sensitive skin. This one is 90% natural and it does contain fragence, but it still has a higher concentration of "all natural" products than most drug store skin care lines.

I have no problem using this on my oily/acne prone but very sensitive skin for days at a time. My skin is also a little clearer with use over time-probably due to the willow tree bark (aka salicylic acid). The one issue I had when I started using this product was my skin became a little more red-especially in the sensitive areas (around the nose) but did not burn. This reaction stopped after a little while and was probably my skin just getting used to the product.

Although not 100% natural, it is much less harsh than my previous cleanser (L'Oreal 360) and I will definitely be switching to this from now on. For me, it was very gentle and left my skin feeling clean and soft. I definitely recommend this product!
