Kiehls - Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo - 16.9 oz

This shampoo is extremely moisturizing. In fact, it's so moisturizing that it doesn't lather well because of all the oil in it. For this reason, I'm only giving it four stars because I'm not sure how well it actually cleans my hair. But I do think it would be a good shampoo to use on an almost-daily basis (and then to use something else once or twice a week that cleans better). But all in all, I think this is a great shampoo for dry, damaged hair because, unlike most shampoos, it actually is very moisturizing and gentle.

I love this product! Gentle and moisturizing for my Florida baked, color treated hair but does not leave my hair too limp. I use it all the time and it has really helped to improve the condition of my hair. Works perfectly with the Olive Fruit Oil Treatment.

I have very mixed feelings about this product. The good thing first: This is an excellent shampoo; it's very nourishing. It cleans the hair well yet provides excellent moisture. I don't even have to use conditioner all the time. Ever since I started using this shampoo, it has been my favorite hair product. It's the only shampoo that keeps my hair smooth (other shampoos that have words like "moisture," "nourishing," "dry hair" in their names just can't work as well to me).

However, the price is a big minus. I can't say the product is "over-priced" since I agree that it works really well, but $30 per bottle is just hardly affordable for frequent use. I still highly recommend this product if the price is not an issue; but honestly I would hope that someday I can find something that works as well but is much cheaper.
