Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash (Pack of 3)

I've been using Dove's sensitive skin body wash for years. I have sensitive skin, I've seen a dermatologist in the past for treatment and recommendations, and Dove works for me. I decided to try the deep moisture formula to change things up.

The sensitive skin formula may have changed a bit over time, but it's been great and I haven't had any qualms about it. Deep moisture is very, very similar, except that it has a scent which I'm on the fence about. Scent aside, this wash leaves my skin feeling clean, healthy, and nourished.

I'm such a creature of habit that I feel naked without it on the road. Do yourself a favor ditch the fruity, scented, cheap soap and treat your skin with care. Go Dove or go home!

Very thick, and as with all body washes they can only do a little since you only leave them on your body for such a short time. However, what you use is important so that you don't strip you skin of oils.

In a pinch, you can use this as a shave cream because it is so thick.

Also, for males if you're tired of spending $$$ for shaving creams.....get a good hair conditioner and use it. Conditioners have glycerin in them. I purchase CVS brand in a big bottle and a little goes a long way. It will also soften your beard.

This product would get a better review if it had a better bottle design. The product seems thicker than it did in previous years and it does a good job in moisturizing my very dry skin made worse in a dry climate. However, the bottle is very difficult to squeeze. My wrist actually hurts trying to get it out of the bottle. It has a pointed top so you can't put it upside down unless you have a shower tray that has a hole in it to hold the bottle upside down and then you have to lean it against the edge of the tray. Even with it upside down and the product ready to come out, you have to really squeeze hard. It is also so thick that there are blobs of it on the bottom of the shower that you have to make a concerted effort to get it to go down the drain. I have bought this product before but won't buy it again due to bottle design. I will ask my dermatologist for another recommendation.

I'm not impressed with Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash. I squeeze out an amount equal to about the size of a Ping Pong Ball on my washcloth while in the shower and try to lather up with it, but there's very little lather. One bottle wouldn't last very long using this amount each time you shower. This is more akin to rubbing yourself down with a water soluble body lotion and then rinsing it off. Lots of lather doesn't necessarily mean you're clean, but at least it makes you feel clean. This product is also extremely thick and hard to squeeze out of the bottle but it does rinse off clean. It leaves you soft, so it might be okay for someone with sensitive skin issues. This was my first, and will be the last purchase for me.

I do like the product and enjoy using it. However, I find that the container is difficult to squeeze. The contents are thicker and more difficult to get out of the container. I have to take the top off to empty it. Can this be improved?
