Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion Step 1: Refine

I have used this product in the past and I thought I was getting good results from it. Though I never did like the Step 2 moisturizer you were supposed to apply after using this Microdermabrasion treatment. Between the two, my skin was left feeling a bit too dry so I stopped using it after the last tube was done.

Now, I have found an even better solution for exfoliating: table salt! Stupidly simple and super cheap. When I first heard about it I scoffed at the idea but after trying it I am SOLD! It works better at softening my skin than the Mary Kay Microdermabrasion EVER did and my skin never feels extra dry. All I do is pour a little pile of salt onto my wash cloth with my Mary Kay cleanser (which I still love!) and then wash my face and exfoliate all at once! And I actually CAN'T over scrub because the salt will eventually dissolve in the moisture. :)

Save yourself some money and go back to simple!

Shipping was quite quick. Was disappointed in the shipping cost when I almost paid twice the shipping according to the postage. That doesn't take away from the product. I am still using the product that's why I gave it three stars it's slightly correcting my complexion and making my skin smooth.

I ordered this product for my Granddaughter and she loves it. Mary Kay has always had very good skin care products but sometimes I think they focus too much on beauty products just to keep in competition with other cosmetic lines on the market.

I have sensitive skin. This is truly a microdermabrasion rather than just a scrub. The particles are small and do not tear the skin but do polish the skin.
