Summary: Main difference from other body washes seems to be the nice smell that lingers more than other body wash. For better moisturizing I'd recommend Softsoap Spa Moisture Wrap.

"Dermatologist recommended, Micro Moisture for total skin comfort, Clinically proven to fight skin dryness??" Maybe, but I couldn't really tell anything different.

I have been using Softsoap SPA (Exfoliating Sea Salt and Moisture Wrap Essential Oil) and also had a new bottle of Nivea For Men Sensitive body wash.

I tried these for a few days using one body wash on the left and another on the right side of my body to see if I could tell any them apart. The main difference is that the Dove has a pleasant smell. Not overpowering. Fresh out of the shower my wife thought I smelled nice. as a result I don't think she'd use this body wash as it definitely is a "guy" scent.

The Nivea smells nice but the smell won't linger on you after you rinse.

As far as moisturizing, it's winter and very dry. I wasn't able to see any significant difference between the Dove Men and the Nivea for Men products. However, the "Moisture Wrap" version of the Softsoap SPA body wash definitely left my body feeling like there was something going on kind of the difference between using a conditioner in your hair and not.

I purchased some of this OUTSTANDING body wash for men and decided to try some beneath my Headslick shave cream to shave my head. WOW!! I am SO glad that I thought to give it a try! It left my head feeling ABSOLUTELY COMFORTABLE! I could certainly tell a difference from just using the shave cream alone.Give it a try! You WILL NOT regret it! Kudos to Dove!!! It's about time they came out with a line of their outstanding moisturizing soap but developed for men. About a year ago, I used some of my wife's Dove when I ran out of my soap but never used it again because of the feminine fragrance. I DID notice how comfortable my skin felt though, which made me think to use the mens version under my shave cream. GET SOME!!!!! OH!! It's a wonderful body wash also!!! HA!!

This is both a body and a face wash and I decided to use it only for my face, and as such it's a great product. Due to my really oily skin, I need something other than a run-of-the-mill liquid soap no matter how good it is to clean my face and I was extrememly impressed with a free sample of this I got in the mail.

You can actually feel the purifying grains go to work as you massage

this into your skin. And, as claimed, it rinses off very easily--faster than most liquid soaps do. While I always use a toner designed for oily skin after washing, my skin seems to remain oil-free longer after using this soap than with others. I like the fragrance, too. As an added bonus, an extremely small amount goes a very long way and because I'm only using it for my face this bottle is going to last me a really long time; that makes this an amazingly good buy (no pun intended).

So, over-all, I like this new product from Dove and could highly recommend it at least to anyone with the same needs as I have.
