Alaffia Nourishing Shampoo Shea and Honey -- 8 fl oz

It seems like this 'shampoo' just sits there without reacting to anything. It doesn't cleanse nor condition. It was like liquid resin, just stuck to my hair. I have no other words to say about this.

I had to wash it out of my hair with another shampoo.

I purchased this directly from the Alaffia site, so I know that it was fresh and authentic product. When I rubbed it into my hair, though, I could feel my hair immediately get rough and porous -stripped, in other words. When I rinsed the shampoo out, I could not run my fingers through my fried hair. The skin on my hands was dried out and puckered as well. This was incorrectly described on the Web site as suitable for dry and "mature" hair! The soap I use on my dishes is gentler on my skin than this shampoo is. Terrible product.

This is my favorite shampoo. I have used many throughout my life and like this one the best. I don't seem to need a clarifying shampoo when using this; it seems to clean really well and impart moisture at the same time.
