Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare All In One Facial Cleanser with Toner, 6.7-Fluid Ounces

I have extremely sensitive skin prone to allergy and acne. My skin is always very dry feeling but it is super shiny and oily at the same time, which drives me insane. I'm in my mid-30's and over the past few years I've starting having acne and facial dermatitis issues like never before, and NOTHING helped. Even prescriptions that worked when I was in my teens have done nothing. I've tried very expensive special cleansers, toners, moisturizers, etc. I've tried everything from all natural products like homemade goat milk and lye soaps and lotions, to diet changes, and hormone balancing teas, etc., but my skin is constantly irritated, full of blemishes, dry and itchy, and very dull looking. It is really embarrassing to be this age and my skin looks like I'm 16...except my skin looked better at 16 than it does now.

Out of desperation I have been scouring the Internet trying to find something else to try when I stumbled across Dr. Gross' products and after reading about the chelating ingredients I decided to try it since the approach was different-aimed at water impurities causing issues rather than at skin issues. I ordered the All in One Facial Cleanser with Toner and the Hydra Pure Oil Free Moisture with Chelating Complex through Amazon since it was on sale for a great price, even though the two were over $60 on sale. The products arrived yesterday, which was just 3 days after I placed my order and 6 days sooner than the estimated arrival date, which was really nice! Last night I applied the milky cleanser to my dry face and massaged it in for about 2 minutes and then it started itching so I rinsed thoroughly with warm water while massaging my skin until it felt clean. I was absolutely shocked that it actually removed my mascara and left my skin so soft. I then wet a cotton pad and went over my face really well to make sure I removed the last bit of make-up and cleanser in case I had missed any...and there was a very small amount of "stuff" on the cotton pad when I was finished, but less than with my normal foaming cleanser. I followed up with the Hydra Pure moisturizer and went to bed, hoping that I wasn't allergic this.

When I woke up this morning I happened to glance in the mirror and I was SHOCKED at the difference in my skin. I called my husband over and the look on his face said it all; he commented that my skin looked healthier than it has for years. I could tell he was just as amazed as I was at the difference in the appearance in my skin. I asked him on a scale of 1-10 what he thought the improvement was and he didn't hesitate and said a 10...and I might have to agree! My skin is looks brighter, smoother, and healthier already-and it is softer than it has felt in 20 years. I took a closer look at my trouble spots like around my jawline where lately I've been having cyst like blemishes, my nose where my pores are way too large and I get blackheads no matter what I do, and between my bottom lip and chin where I don't actually have any blemishes but the pores are clogged and unhealthy looking, and I can already see an 80-90% improvement IN JUST ONE USE!! I honestly wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen the results myself. I am so excited to see what my skin will look like after I've used these products for a month. I can't stop smiling!

The products are very expensive when compared to products from the drugstore and even a lot of high end designer products and/or prescription products that I've used through the years, but these are the best results I've ever had, especially overnight, even with products that have been a lot more expensive. Also, it takes a very small amount of product so unless I use much more product than I need, this facial cleanser should last me at least 6 months with daily morning and evening use. I can't comment on long-term results yet, but I will come back and update my review if anything changes-but for now the results seem miraculous! I didn't expect to see any difference at all for at least a week and I've only used it one time!

After thinking about this, I can link my skin issues to about a month after we moved into this house. I just never connected moving into a different house to my skin issues since I never thought my water could be the problem. I knew we had hard water problems, but I thought our water softener corrected the problem, but now I am realizing that hard water has minerals that water softeners don't remove, but the chelating complex in Dr. Gross' products target those impurities so they aren't able to clog pores and damage your skin. I just ordered the all over blemish solution to add to the mix as well, since I'm so pleased with these two products. Plus, I am putting in a quality shower filter to help remove chlorine and other impurities since other members of my family have developed psoriasis and eczema since moving into this house too. I can't believe I never linked all of our skin issues to our water because it seems so obvious now that we never had these specific issues before moving here. HOPING that between Dr. Gross' products with chelating complex and our water softener and water filter I can eliminate all of our skin issues.

Bottom line, if you have problem skin and nothing seems work, even your dermatologist, then give Dr. Gross' products with chelating complex a try since it might be your water and not your skin. Good luck!!

I'VE NOTICED THAT THEY CHANGED THE FORMULA ON THIS PRODUCT RECENTLY. I JUST TRIED THE NEW PRODUCT & THE OLD PRODUCT WAS A MUCH BETTER QUALITY.

All companies seem to be cheapening the new reformulations.

I originally gave this product 5-stars, but that was for the old formula.

Unfortunately, I do not like the new formulation.

It does not work in the same, wonderful manner as the old formulation.

I purchased Dr. Dennis Gross's All-In-One Cleanser with Toner on the recommendation of a friend. She swore by its effectiveness at cleansing and toning and "dissolving" her blackheads. As someone with combination oily skin that is prone to blackheads it sounded like the perfect cleanser.

I remove my make-up each evening with make-up remover but when I purchase a product that claims to remove make-up, I like to do a test run. The result of this test run? After cleansing the amount still left on my face was ridiculous and I don't wear a lot to begin with. My mascara was still in place as was my eye shadow and the cotton ball took on the color of my foundation after swiping with a toner. I continued to use the face wash for a month before giving the remaining amount to a friend. My skin never felt clean after I used it and the blackheads I was so hoping to be rid of grew in number. It also caused several breakouts, something that I'm not prone to normally. I've had better results with a $6 drugstore cleanser.

Everyone's skin is different, as is the way it reacts to facial products, but this one did nothing for me.

Tried this after trying a gazillion other cleansers and combos. My search is over. I absolutely love this product and I love the way it makes my skin look and feel. I use it twice a day and when I started I had small bumps on my forehead, almost like they were underneath my skin. After one week of use they are almost gone and I imagine that with a few more weeks of daily use they'll be history.
