(#1 REVIEWER)I use Oxy Maximum Deep Cleaning Face Wash to keep adult acne under control. My acne occurs when bacteria gets trapped in clogged pores. This product is a face wash that contains 10% benzoyl peroxide. When I wash my face with it it cleanses better than plain water alone. When I use it regularly is works very well, if I use it during an outbreak it does not totally wipe out the acne, but reduces the blemishes by half in a few weeks. 6 oz bottle lasts me a couple of months.

In the past I have tried Proactiv amd AcneFree and they did not produce result any better than Oxy Maximum on my skin. Both Proactive and Acne free are significantly more expensive. So Oxy Maximum is my choice and recommendation.

I am one of those guys that have tried everything to clean my face. From the cheap stuff to the stuff for women, nothing works better on my face than this product. I just keep it in the shower and use it nightly. Keeps my face clean.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why some grocers have decided to stop carrying it. It doesn't matter much. Amazon has it cheaper and in a 3 bottle supply.

Before using this product, I was using Oxy Maximum with 10% Benzoyl Peroxide. That product completely cleared up my skin. Then, unfortunately, my skin developed some kind of reaction to BP that I never had before. So, I switched to this product. I do not have acne free skin because my skin seriously changed a year ago. Almost all of my acne is underneath the skin, so it requires procedures such as chemical peels. However, I have NO acne on the top of my skin ever since I began using this product. I highly recommend this product, or any other Oxy product for that matter.

I've used Oxy Maximum Deep Cleaning Face Wash for years now. It is very low priced compared to other name brands and is even cheaper if you use Amazon's "Subscribe and Save". The Deep Cleaning wash is a stronger face wash than most of the other products I've tried, but it doesn't irritate my skin. Note that it doesn't have any exfoliating beads like some competing products. That is good for me since exfoliating beads make my face turn red from irritation. This face wash is a clear face wash based on Salicylic acid, aloe, and a few other compounds. Oxy has another wash called "Daily Face Wash" which is based on Benzoyl Peroxide. Make sure you know which product you are selecting based on your preference. I find the "Deep Cleaning" face wash to work best for me.
