I was looking for a product not made out of cotton (seemingly impossible) to apply my with hazel toner with. I hated picking the pieces of cotton fuzz off my face all day. The description of these seemed reasonable so I tried them. They are great! More than adequate size and no fuzz! If I used makeup they would also be great to remove it. I also used it to remove nail polish and again, no fuzz, and I was able to use only one pad to remove the polish off all ten fingertips!

Amazon had run out of these, but now I know order more before my personal supply runs completely out. They do not shread; perfect absorbency; works as a washcloth substitute.

I have been using these pads for years. In my opinion they beat out other products because they are large and don't fall apart like many other such pads do when for example toner is applied. They are soft and strong, with one textured and one smooth side. I have them on subscription with Amazon because they cannot be found anywhere in a retail store near me and I don't want to run out.

These things are a weird review. The cotton itself is of fair enough construct, but it's the size of the pad that gets me.

These things are huge on a face applicator/cotton round basis. They're bigger than many people's entire cheek or even hand!! More suitable for dressing wounds or mopping counters, I couldn't see this cotton pad(??) as a washcloth substitute, and as an astringent applicator the user would go through a bottle of astringent so quickly trying to lightly saturate the mass of cotton for facial application here that this calming night time procedure would be quickly and brutally transformed into some sort of an unholy sacrifice ritual to the cosmetic industry gods. As the user struggled mightily to control her mass of cotton, she would be hearing her pennies circling the drain.

At the end of the day, this is a fair quality (3/5) piece of cotton...an item left rather sadly without a cause in my opinion. If you've ever found yourself wondering philosophically, "Just how much cotton applicator would be too much cotton applicator? Is there even such an animal?"...then this may be your cotton applicator.

For the rest of us, I'd recommend Delon's brand. It's a cut above in all ways.

I love these cleansing pads! In my area the stores are always out of stock or low on stock. So buying them in bulk saves me time and gas money. I don't have to run around town trying to find them! I use them for applying toner, removing nail polish, and all kinds of things. I like this large size because it makes application of products easier!
