This shampoo is a worthy successor to the original Pinaud shampoo. It might even be a little better. It is rich with quinine and B vitamins which is great for thinning hair and may actually 'stop' hair loss not to mention it makes your scalp feel good and it smells great. The shampoo is a rich dark red color which indicates it is chock full of quinine. I don't have any hair loss problem but I like the smell and the way it makes my scalp feel. If you alternate shampoo's this would be great used alongside Nioxin. Whether you have thinning hair or not it is an excellent shampoo and should be a part of your grooming arsenal for any man or woman. It may be to my knowledge the last shampoo that contains quinine.

This is also the best out of all the Klorane shampoos by far.

Funny title but not so funny problem.. I was losing a bit too much hair with each shampoo. I have thick hair so I wasn't in a panic, but I wanted it to stop all the same. I investigated online and was pointed to this shampoo on many sites. I came to Amazon where I found it at a fair price, and it had good reveiws here as well. I am happy with the results. Now instead of a small nest of hair, I see one or two and sometimes none with each shampoo.

Smell is very pleasure. And it is not too dry like other organic shampoos. But I cant see any obvious effect on my thinning hair.
