Despite the ridiculous name, their products are great and this one is no exception. I like that the "grains" are not so soft that you don't feel like your dead skin is getting scrubbed off, yet not so harsh that you end up with skin problems which is common for people like me with sensitive skin. This product leaves my face feeling soft and moisturized but not greasy. Sometimes natural products are better in theory than in reality. Not so with this cleanser. I think this is a terrific product and I'll be buying it from now on. No need to spend a lot of money for a bunch of chemicals. GO NATURAL!!

I'm 41 y/o, with dehydrated, sensitive, acne-prone skin, and have always tended to gravitate toward products that addressed my occasional breakouts. After having tried (and fallen in love with!) some of the other products from the "Yes to Carrots" line, I decided to give this cleanser a try, and I am definitely hooked! A little less than two months' later, the differene in my skin has been incredible! The cleanser has a smooth, creamy texture, and the exfoliating grains are noticeable, but not harshly so. I apply just a small amount to my moistened face, massage with my Clarisonic for one minute, gently pat dry, and my skin looks positively radiant... thoroughly clean, without tightness or dryness. An excellent value, and my all-time-favorite cleanser... love, love, LOVE it!

I would have to agree with the other reviewer (can't believe there are only two of us!) despite the silly name, this is a great line. I prefer natural skincare products. I have sensitive skin, and the chemicals in some traditional facial lines have led to some rather unfortunate instances for my poor skin. However, as you know if you are a fan of natural/organic skin care, it can be pricey. What I like about this entire line (Say yes to Cucumber, and Say yes to tomatoes are also made by this company) is that they use high quality ingredients, they thoroughly research and test their products, but they remain very reasonable price wise.

This exfoliater is gentle on your skin, and it has a surprisingly mild, but lovely scent. The grains are not too big, but nor are they so small that you can not feel them doing their job.

Well worth the money!

I have been a fan of SYC for several years now. My entire family uses their products. All 3 of my kids have used their products since they were born. So, I'm disappointed that they have changed the formulation. What used to feel so clean during and after the facial wash, now feels soooooo greasy. I'm guessing the main ingredient that makes it so greasy is the shea butter they have added. (There are many other ingredients that have been added and omitted) It's like the many exfoliating washes out there (for body or face) -they accompany the grease with the exfoliating scrubs. I don't need that much extra moisturizers in my cleansers. That's what my lotions are for. Plus I really loved the original formula. Why change a good thing? I hope with enough complaints, the company will go back to the original formula. Now I have to return this product, and find something to replace it.

This is what I instead of a "scrub". I use it a few times a week, and my skin feels super soft afterward and looks more even. It's a little bit creamy, and the apricot seed powder is very fine. This works well for me because I have sensitive skin, and the slightest irritation will make my skin break out or become inflamed. I definitely recommend this cleanser for sensitive skin. I use the yes to cucumbers cleanser daily, and this yes to carrots exfoliating cleanser a few times a week, or before a night out, so my makeup goes on better.
