I take a lot of medication because of my disabilities. Several of the medications have the side effect of drying my skin. If not treated, the skin begins to crack, which brings the danger of infection. So, my physician told me to: use a special ammonium lactate lotion and find a body wash that is not soap.
After a bit of a search I found unscented Dove for sensitive skin. Since it is not scented I do not need to worry about reactions to chemicals. Using this product results in far less drying of my skin (chemicals in the water also dry skin). After a bath I then apply "lotion" to replace lost moisture due to toweling and chemicals in the bath water. This body wash really works for me.
I recommend this liquid body wash, especially for people with dry skin. I have very sensitive and oily skin and this brands bar soap is the only one I use/can but don't daily in any acne areas because of it's moisture. This liquid form has a little fragrance as well that doesn't work for me.
