Clear Pore is 3.5% benzoyl peroxide in a creamy, calming cleanser. It's the absolute best and cheapest cleanser for the money. It's not the greatest mask, though, since it doesn't have the right ingredients for a mask. Use Clear Pore combined with a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide gel or cream at night acne dot org works, or Proactiv's lotion only (which you can buy on Amazon, much cheaper than the Proactiv website). Solvere Acne clearing gel is also 2.5% benzoyl peroxide.
Use a sulphur/clay mask once a week (after you've steamed your face in the shower or with a hot washcloth held over your face) to really clear things out either Queen Helene or Proactiv's mask (also on Amazon, much cheaper than on their website).
Be SURE to use a moisturizer in the morning after washing your face (such as Clean & Clear spf 15, Aveeno Positively Radiant spf 15 or 30, or Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 45). Use spf 30 if it's the summer time, and use spf 45 if you live in a very sunny area. These moisturizers are perfect because don't have titanium dioxide or zinc oxide two physical sunscreen blockers that cash a white sheen over your face. Beware of Neutrogena Healthy Defense spf 30 it has titanium dioxide.
Always be sure your face has dried for 10 minutes after you've patted it dry before you put on your moisturizer, day or night! If your skin is dry or flaky at all, try Purpose Wash at night. It's clinically shown as gentle as water, but still cleans your face.
This regimen works for anyone with mild to moderate-severe acne; it likely won't work with cystic (multiple huge painful) acne, for that you still need to go to a dermatologist. I developed this regimen after spending far too much money for years on the multi step proactiv. I had moderate acne, now I have one pimple a month with my period!
So, to review:
AM:
Wash: Neutrogena Clear Pore
Moisturizer: Clean & Clear spf 15, or Aveeno Positively Radiant spf 15 or 30, or Neutrogena Healthy Defense spf 45
PM:
Wash: Neutrogena Clear Pore or Purpose Wash
Moisturize/Treatmentr: Proactiv lotion, acne dot org benzoyl peroxide gel, Solvere Acne Clearing gel
Weekly: Proactiv Mask (6% sulphur) or Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask
Spot Treatment on a pimple: Neutrogena Clear Pore, either of the masks, Murad spot treatmentI am a dermatologist myself who still gets occasional products and I think this face wash is fantastic. What most people don't realize is that this has 3.5% benzoyl peroxide, which is the same active ingredient as Proactiv (2.5%). All BPO products are drying but they help with inflammatory acne (red painful bumps or pus bumps). There is nothing similar to this product on the market. The closest competitor is Panoxyl which makes (4/5/8/10 % benzoyl peroxide products all of which are too drying). This is a fantastic face wash esp if you use it once a day and combine it with the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne wash (2% salicylic acid). Great for daily use!

I still have acne as an adult, and I searched forever for a product that had benzoyl peroxide as the active ingredient because it doesn't over dry my skin. This cleanser goes a long way on your face; you don't need alot of it. It doesn't burn, but it can got warm if left on as a mask. This product has helped me get my acne under control and to a minimum. I use it twice daily (morning and night) and maybe a third time, depending on my activities during the day. Warning: It will burn like fire in your eyes.Read Best Reviews of Neutrogena Clear Pore, 4.2 Ounce Here
Having trouble with acne was just getting annoying with being a confidence downer. Seeing at this is so cheap, and has a whole lot of great reviews I decided to give it a shot. This does have benzoyl peroxide in it, so be aware that there will be drying involved! Your skin will adapt. For a cleanser, this is amazing. I pair this with my Clairsonic Mia, and them together just work together to kick the crap out of acne. I noticed that I now very rarely get breakouts, and when I do they go away in little to no time, and are also very tiny. This has also worked to get rid of almost all of my blackheads. Once I started using this I started seeing an improvement. After a few weeks of use, there is a great improvement! This has gotten rid of the blackheads that I would get on my forehead...which were weird because I would see them one day, and the next day they were now a breakout. Now I never see them!! I love this stuff, but make sure that you have a good moisturizer! Using this will definitely tighten your skin and dry it out which will also make makeup look terrible, if you use makeup, unless you moisturize! As for a mask, this doesn't really work that well. I didn't notice anything change when I used it as a mask. One thing to beware!! Do NOT use this as a spot treatment like I did. I decided to try and put it on my pimples and head to bed. Baddddd idea and I'm still paying the price. It burned my skin and now I have to deal with constant flaking and trying to get it to heal. So make sure you don't do that! Try this out, it is the only thing that has really worked to keep my skin at bay!Products I use in my regimen:
Clairsonic Mia
Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask
Dickinson's Witch Hazel (toner)
Clearasil Moisturizer
Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque

I have been a St. Ives facial cleanser user forever. That brand works perfectly on me, as I have sensitive skin that overdries easily. But last year moved to a place with a different kind of water which has been making me break out. The St. Ives wasn't doing it anymore..I needed something stronger. I tried a few different cleaners, but this one was the only one that eliminated pimples without overdrying my face.
