Himalayan Bath Salt - Fine Grain - 20 lbs.

This is my second time buying these salts. I have been using the Dead Sea salts, and i love those, but the himalayan salts seems to make me feel even better! The seller (midwest bath salt company) is the only one i buy from, they have great prices and super FAST shipping! The 20 lbs last me about a month, taking 2-3 long soaks a week. I add about 2 cups per bath. Skin is softer, i feel revived and clean from the inside out. Helps to calm inflammation, sooth and heal skin irritations, and although most people think salt contributes to edema, this salt will help rid you of excess bloat and its excellent for sore muscles if you are an athlete ( or just had a long day!) I can't live without this stuff, it truly is the secret cure all everyone should have on hand!

For the money, you get a LOT of bath salts. If you want to add 'smell', you can buy an essential oil of your choice and add it to the salts and voila', you have aromatherapy. I love the bath salts though with or without any essential oils. i definitely will buy again.

I received the Himalayan bath salts. I expected pink salt like advertised on their website. What I received was mostly white fine salt (exactly like table salt) with a few pink crystals added. I emailed them and called them several times to inquire and never heard back. I will not order from Midwest Sea Salt Co. again. As well as the fact that their instructions say to shower off after soaking in bath. Other Himalayan Salt instructions advise to let dry naturally to coat the skin. I am wondering what they are really selling.

I was excited to try these bath salts after reading the reviews but now that it's here, I'm left scratching my head. I knew when I purchased it, that it was fragrance free so I won't hold that against it even though a pleasant aroma adds a lot to the experience of a mineral bath. My biggest complaint is that I need to use A LOT of it just to feel something in the water. With other bath salts, a little goes a long way, but with these, if it wasn't for the salty taste in the water, I wouldn't even know it was in there. I feel like I'm bathing in table salt. Secondly, I'm always left with debris in the tub. Small black and brown pebbles or grains are left behind. That has never happened before. And lastly, rinsing off in the shower is a MUST. Your skin will feel tight and even hurt in places. So, needless to say, I won't be purchasing this again. If you want to give this a try, buy a small amount or request a free sample.
