You have to make sure to create lots of foam with the net (it comes with one) and wash very thoroughly with foam.My skin sees no break outs since I started using this. It doesn't over-dry your skin like most other face washes, but you would probably need some toner to seal the deal after each wash. I used to see a lot of clogged pores around my chin and my forehead but these helped resolve all of those issues.
