If you're planning to purchase these as reusable tampons, don't. They are really too small to use for that purpose. Most other cosmetic sponges measure at least 2"x2", which is an ideal size for tampon use, but these are about 1"x2" too skinny! They don't look so small in the photo & no measurements are given in the current listing, so I was really surprised when I pulled them out of the envelope today. Cute little sponges, though. Maybe I'll double-up when Aunt Flo comes to visit!
