Alba Botanica Coconut Milk Facial Wash, 8-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 2)

My ex bought me a bottle of the Alba Coconut Milk Face Wash in a local store a while back and I loved it. So, I figured I'd see what kind of deal I could find on it on Amazon, as I'm much more inclined to shop online. I came across this 2 pack, which is also in the Subscribe and Save program. Awesome, right? Wrong. Either Alba changed the product, or Amazon is sending out the wrong thing. When I got the bottles, they were different than the old one I had. They say "deep cleaning face wash" instead of just "face wash." The bottle also, however, says "new look." So, I chalked it up to a simple packaging change long enough to try the product out. In using it, I noticed that what I got is also a different consistency. Much further from the almost just actual coconut milk appearance of the face wash and more... I don't know... just not the same. I loved the fact that the face wash I had was very mild: just enough for my generally very finicky skin. After using this stuff, well, the results weren't horrible, but it did not do my skin any favors. I guess my next step is to actually get in touch with Amazon or Alba. In the meantime, does anyone know if they actually discontinued the regular face wash for this stuff?

This cleanser is feels deep cleaning, but there is definitely a lot of tightness of the my skin before I add moisturizer. I think that it's too deep cleaning for daily use. I have really normal skin to begin with. Not oily and not dry. It does tingle while it's on my face but stops after I rinse. I will not be buying this again.
