My mother used to burn small sections of these papers when we lived in Schwetzingen, Germany, back in the 60's. The scent is something that no longer exists, except with these burning scented papers. You can tear a piece off, light it with a match, and let it burn for a few seconds or a minute. You can put it out with your hand. The scent is intoxicating and luscious. It reminds me of another time, in a much more civilized world with values, etiquette, surrounded by Old World elegance. I highly recommend this product. It's a fragrance that is singular and very desirable. Ah, the memories.

This Benzoin-soaked burning paper smells lovely. It is refreshing like the smell of a wood fire in the air, but never overwhelming or smoky. It cleans the air and attracts women, although men say it smells nice too. I would burn it everyday if my supply was up to it!
