Clearasil Daily Face Wash, 6.5-Ounce Tube, (Pack of 4)

Clearasil Daily Face Wash, 6.5-Ounce Tube, I have used this for years. It cleans skin and deep inside the pores better than anything else. A woman who wants to remove makeup easily need only step into the shower with a tube of this. If you want the cleanest body, face, toes, scalp, private areas, ear canals etc., than you have ever had, this kills all odor causing bacteria, removes ear wax, deodorant residue etc., like nothing else. Even if you never get acne, this product is truly amazing.

My wife had been using Clearasil for one main reason: it did not have salicylic acid, a big no-no for pregnant women. She loved Clearasil, and we ordered this 4-pack to replenish our stock.

But when we got it, it says in teeny, tiny, microscopic letters, "Psst! New formula." What's the new ingredient that's so conspicuously disclosed? Salicylic acid. Thankfully, she checked the ingredients list before applying the product. Amazon's description at this time is using the outdated ingredient list. Yes, there is a disclaimer that the contents may change at any time without warning. But when we're talking about a radically different product, one that now requires a drug label because of a new active ingredient, this should be prominently displayed, both on the product listing and on the packaging, particularly when the new ingredient is one that is explicitly disallowed for mothers-to-be.

Maybe the new formula works pretty well. Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait a few months to find out.

Zirh CLEAN, Alpha-Hydroxy Face Wash

Zirh International Zirh Clean By Zirh International For Men. Alpha-hydroxy Face Wash 250 Ml /8.4-OuncesIf you're searching for the best face wash for men, look no further. I've used higher end facial cleansers since high school (i.e. Neutrogena and Clinique for Men), but none can compare to the complete clean feeling you get from Zirh's Clean. With a nickel-sized dollop in your hands or washcloth, you will get a unique and deep penetrating subtle lather that rinses away far more cleanly than other products (for men or otherwise).

A friend of mine who is now hooked on the product after I introduced it to him, describes the feeling after using the product on his face as "whole." Sounds bizarre, I'm sure, but if you imagine your face as smooth, without irritation, residue-free and supple instead of taut, you'll understand exactly what he means.

When this product was first introduced in the 90s, it was even advertised as doubling as a shaving gel. In a pinch, it will serve that purpose superbly. The thick, slightly opaque nature of the product sits below stubble at skin level to give you a close shave. Because Zirh has since come out with it's Shave Cream and Shave Gel products, the company no longer makes that claim for Clean, while it certainly could.

The only reservation I have about Clean is the fact that it, like most other Zirh products, has seen a recent price increase. Perhaps the company has capitalized on the recent popularity the line has enjoyed as a result of being recommended in various news and entertainment media. For Clean, it was about a 15% increase in price. Trust me, the product is worth every penny, but I've also noticed that some canisters of Clean that I've purchased lately haven't been brimming to the cap with product as I had noticed earlier. Hopefully this has been a fluke.

**See my other online reviews for more discussions of Zirh products. Some are true stand-outs in the field of Men's grooming products like Clean.

This is Great Stuff! It feels good, it smells good, it works! Using only once a day, my skin is smoother and tighter, my laugh lines are much less pronounced, and my skin tone is much more even. It doesn't leave my skin thin and paper-y around the eyes like many women's products do. I do wash above and immediately below my eyes with this product without any adverse effects on my contacts. It is worth every penny. The only downside is the packaging doesn't allow for much control when pouring the product into your hand, so you have to be careful not to get more than you need. Excellent Product.

Buy Zirh CLEAN, Alpha-Hydroxy Face Wash Now

It actually feels great, gives your face a minty feel, and tastes somewhat alcoholic. The problem for this item is that it doesn't have a pump or even a squeeze opening. I believe it's meant for those who already own one with a pump to replace with, so if you aren't buying two to get the free shipping from this seller then you might be better off buying the one from Macy's that has a pump at least according to the picture for the same price and 4.95 shipping I believe. I've only used this product once so far, but it feels great. The reason I'm not giving 5 full stars is 1) no pump 2) in metal can which worries me because of all the talk about how Alzheimer's is affected by your body's absorption of aluminum and 3) only comes in 8oz cans, does not offer 16oz cans to reduce cost per oz.

This is another great product from Zirh. Its my favorite cleanser for summer. In winter it makes my skin a little dry so i have to use La Roche Posay Toleriane.

Like some people i dont have any problem with the bottle not having a pump; i think i am use to it after using it for few years. The face wash is very thick and dense and a little goes a long way and hence it lasts many months. Try it once and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Zirh Clean is a fine product. Not only does if clean the face but it also contains alpha-hydroxy which is about as mild a surface 'abrasion' solution available without a trip to a spa. The gel is clear, has a fresh clean scent, makes adequate foam, and really sets up the beard so that when shave gel is applied the whiskers stand ready to be shaved. Recommended for all skin types. Weleda Refining Toner

Weleda Refining Toner, 3.4-Fluid OunceI love Weleda's products, no one couldn't say that i don't enjoy there lotions and creams, but this one... I am not so sure. For one thing it's a refining toner, and a astringent, but it really isn't either. It's more like a slightly perfumed liquid you put on your face, but it doesn't tone, it doesn't deeply clean the face, it just sits there. and I couldn't help but wondered How Weleda totally missed the mark on this one. Oh well, my search for a naturalistic toner/astringent continues....

I can't be more happy about the toner (as well as the rest of the Weleda products). The toner soothes my skin after a long day and it is almost without any scent at all.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Cream Cleanser, 6 Ounce

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Cream Cleanser, 6 OunceI have been dealing with my acne for about 14 years now so I am accustomed to buying products that don't work at all. I understand that the one other reviewer saw no results at all and will probably move on to another product. I, on the other hand, am a buyer for life. I have what most would call mild acne, occassional break outs and large pores with large black heads, which to me is much worse than mild. Now, full disclosure here; I have been switching, trying and switching acne treatments for years trying to find a combo that worked. I use other products (salicylic acid spot treatment and benzoyl peroxide) in tandem with this one so I'm sure it's not working entirely on it's own. My skin started clearing right away, redness was reduced, and oil was almost non existent. Yes... OIL. I have horribly oily skin and this stuff, for whatever reason, takes most of it away. To me, even if my face never cleared, just the fact that it gets rid of the oil would be enough for me to keep using. I think the reduction in oil is what is allowing my face to clear. This is a cream cleanser so it does go on thick, I have no troubles rinsing this away. Something to keep in mind is that there is a foaming cleanser or a gentle scrub. Pick the one you like best. Hope this urges at least one person to go on a limb and try this, I know I'm a believer.

Good Luck

I've used this product for at least 2 years now. I have sensitive skin combo of mostly oily in t-zone but dry around cheeks and chin. This product is gentle, doesn't burn, doesn't leave skin feeling dry from everyday use. It's soothing and really cleans the pores good.

I love this stuff. I can't say much about it's acne fighting so far, but when you put it on and then wash it off, your face gets a cool, tingly, minty feeling. As for redness reducing, it's completely true. My nose and sometimes my cheeks are always red, especially as the weather gets colder, and from the first time I used it, not only was my face soothed and mostly redness free, but I think it is still redness free by the end of the day. I'm not the biggest fan on the creme texture (I like something to scrub with), but overall I'm happy with this.

Phyto Phytopanama + Intelligent Shampoo - Hair Prone to Oiliness Hair Shampoos

Phytopanama plus Intelligent Shampoo Unisex by Phyto, 6.7 OunceI read previous reviews about this product before buying it so I certainly did my research. I did not find the product to be what I needed it to be. My hair gets very oily after only a day or two so I really thought that this would be the miracle shampoo I was looking for. It wasnt! I did find it extremely runny as other reviewers said it was (I would recommend breaking vitamin E capsules into the shampoo to thicken it up, but it may defeat the purpose of the anti-oily hair remedy). Nonetheless, I would not recommend it so fast to others; espcially for the price. However, other consumers seem to think it works quite well; my hair may just be THAT problematic :(

I have been looking for a solution for my oily hair for some time now -I wash my hair in the morning, and by that evening it's greasy (sometimes sooner if I'm messing with my hair) -and I've never found anything that works, until now. I read online that to get the best effect, you should use it every day for a week, and then switch to once a week.

(Aside -note that I do not blow-dry my hair or use styling products on my hair. Someone who does may have different results than I did.)

First use, Monday: following a tip online, I washed first with Phytopanama, followed by a clarifying shampoo (Neutrogena Shampoo, Anti-Residue Formula, 6 Ounce). The Phytopanama is runny not viscous at all, like most shampoos but following another tip from online, I poured the Phytopanama into the cap and from their onto my head. It lathered very nicely (although, if you know anything about soap, you know that has nothing to do with how well soap cleans). I didn't care for the smell, which was struck me as spicy/woodsy. Definitely a masculine smell, but the clarifying shampoo took care of that. Throughout the day, my hair did feel a little dry, which was to be expected, since I usually use a conditioner of some sort.

Tuesday morning: Success!!! When I woke, my hair wasn't oily at all. Even so, I wasn't willing to go to work without washing risk having an oil spill in the middle of the day? Too soon! So I washed the second day with the Phytopanama. I would have left it at that, but the smell was bothering me, so I finished with a 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. I didn't want to use a separate conditioner, in case it was too heavy; I needn't have worried, as my hair still felt a little dry.

Wednesday morning (today): This morning, my hair wasn't quite as clean as on Tuesday, but it was still relatively oil-free. I think this may be because of the 2-in-1 I used on Tuesday. This morning, after the Phytopanama, I decided to use Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo, 13-Fluid Ounce and conditioner to see how my hair reacts. (GF Pure Clean claims to not leave residue, but the reviews on Amazon are 50-50; I've not yet seen any significant change one way or another.) The GF Pure Clean is a new product for me, and I've only used it a few times, so we'll see how it works with the Phytopanama.

TOMORROW/LATER THIS WEEK: I plan on following the Phytopanama with Garnier Shampoo, Sleek and Shine, 13 Fluid Ounce and conditioner, which has been my go-to shampoo/conditioner for years to see if my hair reacts any differently. I also plan on following the Phytopanama with only a conditioner to see how that works.

The verdict: Based on my experiences thus far, Phytopanama does seem to be significantly lessening the amount of oil that my scalp produces. Whether it will maintain this level once I switch to once-a-week usage, which I plan to do in conjunction with the Neutrogena clarifying shampoo, has yet to be determined (but I'm hopeful). I will post an update in a few months when I have a more definitive answer.

It's very difficult to use this shampoo because it is so liquid, it falls through your hands before you get it in your hair. The bottle should be flexible so you can squeeze it directly onto your hair.

Hair One Jojoba Hair Cleanser Conditioner For Color Treated Hair

Hair One Cleanser and Conditioner with Jojoba Oil for Color Treated Hair 12 ozLike so many others, I was intrigued by all those Wen infomercials that promise healthy, shiny hair. So I did my homework and found this generic alternative. I have never used Wen since the drawback, naturally, was the price. I bought this one at the local Sally's store for the same price I would have paid for Wen's shipping charges on amazon. If you are curious they also sell single trial packets for 99 cents, although that was only available in the original formula olive oil.

It isn't your average shampoo plus conditioner in one (bleh) rather it is something new. Each use requires multiple pumps, dividing your hair into multiple sections. This is very thick and creamy and won't lather, but you really do want to get this everywhere from scalp to the roots. That was odd for me since I never put any type of cream on my roots, but it does cleanse. After a few minutes you'll feel a little tingle at the scalp. (It does indeed clean and moisturize at the same time!)

After just one use I cannot stop touching my hair, it is just that soft. I don't know how it manages to clean my scalp at the same time, but it did. I naturally have oily roots with dried up ends.

Both Hair One and Wen will add some extra minutes to your shower time, especially if you have longer hair. If your hair is fried like mine you may find it to be a worthwhile chore. I also don't wash my hair everyday so I really don't mind the extra massage and rinse time. I have read negative reviews on both products from those who experienced residue. My hair doesn't feel like it has any product in it at all but I followed the instructs to a T. With that said, I cannot recommend this product to anyone who has super low water pressure unless your shower head can be handheld, like mine.

I only wish I had tried this sooner. I may have to stock up on this just in case they stop selling it.

Edit: Sallys has increased the price of this by a dollar (for both the bottle and the trial size packets, which is now roughly 1.98 for one) but it is still cheaper than Wen and works great.

I wanted to try Wen, but was turned off by the price. After reading a lot of reviews I picked up Hair One instead. I have used it twice so far. Both times I didn't use any other products (leave-in conditioner, hair serums, frizz creams, etc.) I wanted to see how it performed on its own. I have medium texture (maybe slightly on the thin side) color treated wavy hair. If left to its own devices it dries pretty fuzzy no nice soft waves. So I typically either use a straightening serum & a flat iron, or curling mouse & help it along with a curling iron.

I'm glad I read the reviews and did not expect it to lather. That would have bothered me but I expected it. I followed the directions to the letter, using about 5 pumps on the crown of my head, another 5 at the back and base, and after massaging for a few minutes, another 6 to 8 pumps from the mid-shaft to the ends (adding a little more water). I then finished my shower routine before rinsing for about 3 minutes. The first time I used it I did a quick blow dry. My hair looked about as fuzzy and "big" as it normally does. I didn't really see any difference although it did feel very clean and soft. Many people claimed "instant miracle!"; I didn't see that, hence 4 stars instead of 5. Then I used a flat iron, and that's when I could see a difference. Even without any straightening or smoothing products in my hair (the only product in my hair was one pump of Hair One that I left in after showering) my hair was very smooth, soft and shiny. I had two people ask me if I'd just had my hair done. Without styling products it normally would have looked pretty dried out & fried.

The second time I used it I let my hair just air dry. Again, no additional products whatsoever, just one pump of Hair One left in at the end of my shower. Normally this would make my hair look like it was styled with a Mixmaster. But it actually dried in nice smooth waves! I don't even need to touch it up with a curling iron. Again, it feels very clean and I could go a couple of days without washing it again.

I haven't tried Wen so I don't know how they compare, but I'm pretty happy with this product and would buy it again.

Update: I've been using this for almost 2 months now, and am very pleased. My hair is so soft it feels wonderful. And I've noticed that even if it's damp outside (which would normally frizz my hair), it stays pretty smooth. The only drawback is that after about a dozen washings my hair started to feel a little bit weighted down. (As though I hadn't rinsed thoroughly but I know I did.) So the next time I used it I mixed about a dime-sized drop of shampoo in with it. That seemed to do the trick; it's back to feeling really clean again. I will probably do that every so often, as needed. But overall, great results and I'll buy it again at my local Sally's.

I loved Wen, but it's just so expensive! I was starting to think I would no longer be able to afford having truly soft hair. This product popped up in some searches on eBay so I tried it instead and voila! They have exactly the same effect *and* I have since discovered that I can buy it off the shelf at my local Sally's.

This product can even turn bleached white hair touchably soft!!

Read Best Reviews of Hair One Jojoba Hair Cleanser Conditioner For Color Treated Hair Here

I really wanted to love Hair One but it doesn't equate to Wen. I used Wen for a few weeks and loved the results. I have very dry, color treated hair and Wen made it super soft and my natural waves came back. I didn't feel the need to use other products anymore and stopped using hair oils, sprays, etc. My dry ends looked and felt like they were intentionally textured together by styling cream. But I am also a cheapskate so I read online of this Sally's alternative version. My hair was indeed soft, but it didn't smooth away the flyaways like Wen did and the ends frayed again. However, I would say that Hair One is better than traditional shampoo (just give yourself a week to adjust as your scalp will seem oily from not having it stripped from harsh chemicals).

If you don't color your hair and it's in normal condition, you will probably get fabulous results from Hair One and indeed the great savings is worth picking this up. For me, I went back to Wen.

Want Hair One Jojoba Hair Cleanser Conditioner For Color Treated Hair Discount?

I browsed thru other reviews of this product before ordering and using. When the bottle came I tried it and liked it very much. Like other users, after three or four days I felt my hair was weighed down and a bit limp. I tried my old (professional) shampoo and used Hair One as the conditioner. This worked very well. I have decided to ease into the use of Hair One. I use just Hair One on even days and I use my shampoo and Hair One as the conditioner on odd days. I am an avid user of Moroccian Oil. I have found that I hardly ever need the oil anymore. My hair is in MUCH better condition. I read that one user felt her hair dried faster, I do not experience that. Rinsing is super important, when in doubt keep rinsing! After a few weeks I tried Hair One as a leave in conditioner on my ends that was nice, so so so soft hair!! I am gradually going longer between "normal shampoo" uses. Hair One takes getting used to, but it does what it claims to do. Unlike many users I have found 6 or 7 pumps to be more than enough. I do have fine hair, but lots of it about shoulder length. I suppose everyone has their preference for number of pumps. The first try I used what the bottle recommended and rinsed forever to get it all out. My hair feels clean and bouncy with 6 or 7 pumps. (total) I will be recommending Hair One to friends. As a sidenote: I did experiment using Hair One as a shaving cream on my legs. This works well, smells awesome, but did not seem to add any moisture to my skin.

Holika Holika Pore Clearing Petit BB Cream with Tea Tree Oil and Sebum Control Powder 30ML

Holika Holika Pore Clearing Petit BB Cream with Tea Tree Oil and Sebum Control Powder 30MLThe Petit BB Cream with tea tree oil and Sebum Control is an absolute must for anyone looking to help disguise blemishes while allowing them to heal. I have fair asian skin with redness, acne blemishes, skin pigmentation and combination acne prone skin. This BB Cream worked much better than I had expected it to. I applied it using a ELF powder brush over my face and let the cream set to my skin color. The cream reduced the visibility of my pores without looking like a plastic doll. It had a light smell that faded but was very pleasant. I noticed that after continued use of this product the number of blemishes on my skin lowered. It provides a medium coverage that can be layered without looking cakey or unnatural. Just allow time for cream to set in between applications. My only complaint would be that it does not last the entire day and if you sweat you might need to reapply again in the afternoon. Using a setting powder will make the cream last longer. Over all a great product.

I have tried several BB Creams (Skin79, Heynature, etc.) over the last few years.

The Holika Holika Pore Clearing is the best!

The packaging is very cute and maybe almost looks a little too immature; however, this is a serious product!

I am blonde, blue eyes, extremely fair skin with lots of pink and red tones, and sensitive skin. This product covers very well and blends easily to match my skin tone. Also, I feel it helps to soothe my sensitive skin, as well as, properly cover and calm blemishes.

Just be careful not to put too much on.. Just a little goes a very long way.

The scent of the BB Cream is very light, fresh, and clean smelling when you initially apply. However, it doesn't linger after the makeup is applied. The scent is very pleasant and very faint unlike other cosmetic products I have used in the past.

I highly recommend this product if you are interested in trying a BB Cream.

I bought this BB cream with high expectations since I have acne-prone skin and since it has tea tree oil I though it would help. Well I was wrong. It broke me out horribly and the color was pretty off. I have very fair skin (I'm NC 10 OR 15 if I'm lucky)and I have pink undertones with redness on my cheeks so I usually look for something with yellow undertones that aren't too pronounced so it can cancel my redness out. This BB cream has pink/grey undertones and it makes me look like I'm sick LOL. I should add that this is mostly for lighter skin tones so I'm not sure this would fit anybody darker than an NC 20.

I still gave it three stars because it has medium coverage and can be built up. The finish was also nice and was more of a satin-y finish rather than dewy. Smelled really nice too!

Okay, so disclaimer/ground information. I am not Asian by any means, so I don't have the beautiful porcelain skin that Asians are predominantly blessed with. This opinion, of course, is not meant to be offensive in any way, simply a statement of where this review begins.

I am Caucasian with Combo/Oily acne-prone skin. My epidermis, while undergoing an acne-fueled revolt thanks to a flu shot reaction in January, had been temperamental for months. I finally broke down and decided to get an authentic Asian BB cream (this one in particular) when I just couldn't take the horrid state of my face anymore while watching Michelle Phan's January Favorites video on Youtube. I found the Holika Holika Petit BB cream on prettyandcute.com, and seeing how positively the reviews were on there and here on Amazon, I caved and paid the remarkably low price for this tube and camped out by my post office waiting for it. (Not really, but the metaphorical anticipation and excitement was there.)

When I first got the BB cream, yes, the tube was small and I thought, "Well, this is what I get for around 7 bucks, but whatever. Let's do this!" (*fist pump*)

I am not ashamed to say that I was unbelievably, remarkably, ecstatically surprised by how much I underestimated this little tube. Believe me when I say that LESS IS MORE! A pea-sized amount covers my whole face and my neck, and trust me when I say that my disgusting skin reaction took up most of that space. However, to keep this review professional, I'll list the Pros and Cons below.

Pros:

Coverage: Comparing this to my not-very-missed Loreal BB cream from Rite Aid, this BB kicks Loreal's bum right out the door with coverage. Loreal was a bead-bursting pigment sheer wash while Petit was a thicker, more even, even more pigmented powerhouse than I thought was possible. As I said, a pea-sized amount covered A LOT for such a small amount. Following the online instructions (since the Korean on the tube was a tad hard to make out to my uncivilized eyes), after setting down the base coat, one must wait 5 minutes for it to set correctly before adding more. Buildability over trouble spots was pretty effortless with a soft patting motion with my finger, and any serious places were covered with barely a half-a-pinhead's worth of product!!! Do you hear me people?!?! Barely a dot on my finger covered SO MUCH, if used judiciously.

Wear: After a month and a half, my skin finally got its act together and started clearing up. Yeah, it was a long, tiring journey and hard-won battles of baking soda scrubs and benzoyl peroxide, but finally, I looked like a normal human being again. Yay! And as my skin started looking better, I decided to keep the heavy-duty make-up wearing to a minimum as 1) I didn't really need it anymore, and 2) I wanted to test the wear of the BB cream. Using the Petit as a foundation, I found that it looked so much more natural than my normal foundations. Mainly in that it didn't look cakey or overly done (and yes I'm still learning as my own makeup artist). Without so many problem areas, I just started wearing the BB and watching how it looked all day. Yes, my oily T-zone poked through after 4 hours or so, but honestly, whose doesn't nowadays? The product never oxidized like other foundations, my natural skin color never turned orange-y, but the coverage over the persistent spots did wear through over the day, so those places did become more noticeable over time. Overall, for a run to the grocery store, or dressing it up for work, the BB did it's job the best it could and I salute it for the job done pretty well.

Color Match: Dead. On. Match. If had no idea that I was pale enough for a Korean BB cream, I would have thought this product personally matched to me. First use, perfect. Never had such a profound product match in my life. I could compare it to a divine makeup experience, a moment of communing with the makeup deities, but as I said, let's keep this professional.

Price: Considering I'm still using the BB cream now with the same tube, and that I'm pretty sure I have a bit more than half the tube left, the price is phenomenal for what you're getting. Big things can come in small, inexpensive, international packages. Judicious application and careful product distribution should have me stretching this tube far beyond when my next two tubes are scheduled to come in by next month.

Product Claims: I've heard many great things about Tea Tree oil and it's acne-targeted benefits, so that was one consideration in buying this product. I wanted something to calm my harried skin, and I do believe it worked. After much use and careful attention to my skin, the condition did improve overall. Is it a miracle product for making acne disappear over night? No. But continued use saw better skin over time and the coverage to hide what needed more TLC to take care of. Claims were supported over time, and I'm okay with that.

Cons:

.....Um, none really. Other than a bit of product wear during the day, nothing bad to report. Not even the smell bothers me. It's quite nice, like a creamy powder scent like in loose powder containers. I'm perfectly happy with this product, and I've already ordered more. Nothing more I can say other than give the Petit BB a chance!

DCL Glycolic Acid Pads 20%, 50 pads

DCL Glycolic Acid Pads 20%, 50 padsI have been using these glycolic acid pads for several years now. I am 56 years old and have actually been receiving compliments on my complexion since I have been using this product. I use one pad 1-3 times a week after cleansing my face. They cause some initial stinging, but afterwards, they leave my face softer, glowing, and less dry than before. There is some information (on medline) that indicates glycolic acid stimulates cell turnover and production of new skin (a process that slows down as we age).I prefer to use skin care products that have some science behind them. I have wasted much time and money trying out unproven skin care products that do nothing but leave me with the memory of a clever marketing scam. This is a product that actually works. It is pricey for everyday use, but one container lasts me almost a year since you really don't need to use every day(in my opinion) to get results.I have very sensitive skin and cannot afford a chemical peel, so this is a good option for me.

I have been using DCL Glycolic Acid pads for a few years now under the instruction/advice of my Dermatologist. They help control my oily skin & help lighten my acne scars.

I went for my second facial, the doctor that works at the spa recommended this product. I tried it once or twice a week, sometimes every other week. Was recommended to use it on face for 5 minutes and wash off. Skin is soft, pores smaller, makeup goes on smoother. I have very oily skin in t-zone, pores and occasional breakouts..more now in my thirties than ever. I am ordering another container, its well worth it!

Super expensive, but this plus Proactiv and my face cleared up overnight. Not sure which product actually did it, or if it was a combination, but I've tried a lot of products and this is the first time something actually worked.

Non Soap Cleanser Sensitive Skin - 1 Gallon - Liquid

Non Soap Cleanser Sensitive Skin - 1 Gallon - LiquidI have sensitive, rash prone skin that also needs thorough cleaning for blackheads and clogged pores so finding the right cleanser has been a lifelong challenge. I love this GSE cleanser. My skin looks great and isn't irritated. I use this cleanser occasionally on my toddler son too as both soap and shampoo, and it got rid of his skull cap when he was an infant. I get the big gallon jug; I bought the reusable pump cap from the company and put that on as a cap. You can put some in a smaller pump bottle and add water to make the cleanser go further; it works and cleans just fine doing that.

I use other ptoducts by Nutribiotic so I'm not too surprised that this one performed so well. Yes, I am very satisfied with this product because it's helping me take care of my skin, especially through the winter months. And that's important when you have 63-year-old skin. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has difficulty with skin hydration or aging skin.

Unfortunately, this product is a rather thick gel and not liquid like it used to be (is supposed to be). I've been using it for about 8 years, so I'm not sure if it was frozen and thawed in storage or what happened. I've still used it, as it still is a body cleanser, but I had to heat it in the microwave to get it to liquid form to pour into my pump bottle. I will not order again from this distributor.

I am very happy with this product. I found that it was very hard to find a soap with no oil. I was able to find this product at Whole foods originally and due to the inflated price now purchase it online in a gallon base as it comes out much more affordable. I find that this product leaves my skin clean and feeling like silk, without all of the residue that soap normally leaves. It also does not make my eyes water when I wash my face with it. Overall, am very happy with it and definitely recommend it.

I used to use expensive $20/bottle face wash from department store brands, and only happened upon the Non Soap CLeanser after my tattoo artist recommended that I use it on a new tattoo. At the same time, I ran out of my expensive face wash and decided to give this a shot. It's been two years and I'll never switch back! The nutribiotic cleanser removes makeup instantly and feels so gentle on my skin! I use it as a face and body wash and love that it never dries out my skin, or leaves any fragrance behind. I've definitely seen a transformation in how my skin looks and feels from using this cleanser. It feels more moisturized and healthier.

Oval Buff Sponge ( Multi-Pack)

Earth Therapeutics Body Sponge, Exfoliating, 1 eachA little on the small side, not green, but overall exfoliates very well. I'd recommend as long as you understand it's small.

I have been using this body sponge for about 3 weeks and I really like it. You only need a little shower lotion to make great suds. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. It fits great in my hand and has a cord for handing it up in the shower. I am waiting for it to come on sale again so that I can get some more.

I much prefer Earth Therapeutics Body Sponge, Exfoliating, 1 each (Pack of 4) to their Earth Therapeutics Hydro Exfoliating Gloves, Jade, 1 pair (Pack of 4); they exfoliate much better and they also dry faster with no hassle. This is an exfoliation tool for your body not for your face. I would not recommend a sponge that was meant to exfoliate both face and body as they are very different. For face exfoliation, I like NuFountain® Microfiber Exfoliating Cloth For Face or Body

First of all the color is white not green. They are lightly rough textured so it does not feel like you are rubbing off your skin, just a gentle scrub.I would not use it on my face. They rinse out easily and are a nice size for the hand. I think they are perfect for winter use to exfoliate increased dry skin.

Not soft and doesn't lather soap well. Also stiff and not really absorbent. I like the ubiquitous knotted poly sponges better.

Wonder Wedge Cosmetic Wedge 100's

Wonder Wedge Cosmetic Wedge 100'sWell, I needed a lot of these and I needed them on the cheap.

Got what I paid for. Uniform wedge shape no problem there,

a little wider than the more expensive kind. However the feeling

is very very gritty and rough on the face. I'm only using them

for myself, so it's something that I can put up with doesn't

seem to effect the application of make up. If using these on

other people (who expect very soft plush texture) look elsewhere.

Merely good enough.

Not sure whose product "Honest Consumer" was writing about, but I have used these exclusively for a couple of years now and exclusively via Amazon. LATEX FREE, hypoallergenic, A PURR-FECT product for make-up application. I blend everything with these, LOVE THE SIZE. One side for base + powder blending, other side for eye shadows, small end for blushers. I don't use make-up every day, but when I do, this is IT. Personally, i hate those collapsible non-sponges that they sell in big boxes and pharmacies these days! THANKFUL for THESE WONDER WEDGES!

Buy Wonder Wedge Cosmetic Wedge 100's Now

Nice sponges but smaller than you would guess from the photo on the bag. The large sponge clumps are actually square pieces that pull apart into two wedges. I have bought much larger sponges at the beauty supply store, which I actually like better for make up use, but if the smaller format of these cut sponges fit your needs then you will be happy with them. I just wish they were a tiny bit larger.

The texture of this product is a bit rougher and more absorbant than those I'm used to using. On the one hand, I think this may result in wasted product over time and not as comfortable a feel on application. On the other hand, I think it may be allowing for a more even application because instead of leaving streaks its more likely to absorb product. Overall I'm happy with the product, not sure if I'll get it again or return to my previous brand.

Good value though.

Laneige Foaming Cleanser 115 - 180ml/6.1oz

Laneige Foaming Cleanser 115 - 180ml/6.1ozI really wanted to like this cleanser, and to be fair, I did.

The cleanser comes out of the tube like a cream, but can easily be worked into a nice, thick lather. It has a very strong scent that was honestly a little too much for me. When I rinse the cleanser off my face, I can feel that it leaves a slippery residue behind that makes me kind of uneasy (I have super-sensitive skin), but all of my makeup is wiped away.

This cleanser does its job, and it does it well. It removes all of my eye makeup and BB cream in one wash.

Unfortunately, I turned out to be allergic to it. D: It ended up breaking me out pretty badly and causing noticeable redness. If it weren't for my allergy, I would have really loved this product. I would recommend it anyway.

Biore 4 In 1 Detoxifying Cleanser, 6.7 Ounce

Biore 4 In 1 Detoxifying Cleanser, 6.7 OunceI have used Biore′ products for several years off and on. I was disappointed when Biore discontinued the self-heating masks. I always got a kick out of having a blue Smurf face.

I am not really sure what the 4-in-1 part of the name is referring to. To me that would suggest the product does four different things in one product. The product cleans your face. I guess one can argue that it cleans, stimulates, detoxifies and refreshens. That's four things. The one thing it doesn't do is moisturize. But it doesn't claim to do that.

The ingredients in this deep cleansing, oil-free formula are listed in order as follows:

-Water

-Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLE and SLS are the bane of my existence!)

-Coco-glucoside (a foaming agent which is not toxic like SLE or SLS)

-Glycerin

-Betaine (used in facial products for its ability to reduce the irritation effect of surfactants [SLE and SLS], anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties)

-PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate (Another surfactant!)

-Sodium CocoAmphoacetate (Yup, a surfactant).

-Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Extract (skin conditioning agent)

-Camellia Senensis Leaf Extract (green tea used here as a "detoxifier")

-Coco Nucifera (coconut) Water

-Withania Somnifera Root Extract (Root plant originating from India: Withania Somnifera taken orally is known to have anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-stress, antioxidant, mind-boosting, immune enhancing and rejuvenating properties. It is also said to be an aphrodisiac. I am not sure what it achieves used topically).

-BHT (Butylated Hydroxytoluene. This is BAD, BAD, BAD. Research this and avoid it!).

-Polyquaternium-10 ( a "coating" ingredient most often seen in hair care products)

-Diazolidinyl Urea (antimicrobial preservative that acts as a formaldehyde releaser in cosmetics and personal care products. This ingredient may be derived from animals. From PETA's Caring Consumer: Excreted from urine and other bodily fluids. In deodorants, ammoniated dentifrices, mouthwashes, hair colorings, hand creams, lotions, shampoos, etc.) YUCK.

-Disodium Edta (Chelating and binding agent)

-Menthol (ingredient that gives the slight tingling sensation after using)

-Citric Acid (preservative)

-Propylene Glycol (used to absorb extra water and maintain moisture in certain medicines, cosmetics or food products).

-DMDM Hydantoin (DMDM hydantoin is an antimicrobial formaldehyde releaser preservative. People exposed to such formaldehyde-releasing ingredients may develop a formaldehyde allergy or an allergy to the ingredient itself and its decomposition products)

-Benzophenone-4 (Benzophenone-4 ingredients absorb and dissipate UV radiation, which serves to protect cosmetics and personal care products. It doesn't protect your SKIN from UV, it protects the PRODUCT. I don't store my facial cleanser in the sun. Benzo-4 is a known allergen).

-Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate (Used as a preservative, it is acutely toxic by inhalation. High allergen warning).

-Fragrance

Ok. Those are the ingredients. Not a pretty picture. But let's ignore the horror listed above for a moment and talk about how the product works.

Instructions say to wet face, pump out product, massage gently and rinse off. With the amount of surfactants in the ingredient list I thought this product would be foamier than it is. The application was smooth and easy. I used it with full makeup on because I wanted to see how well it performed as a makeup remover. It did a great job with the foundation/blush and eyeshadow. It sort of failed in the removal of the mascara (I don't wear waterproof formula). I had to use a cloth to remove the mascara but the rest of my facial mess rinsed off nicely.

After thoroughly rinsing, I pat toweled dry. I immediately noticed a slight tingling sensation (the menthol in the product) that was not unpleasant. I don't really know if this ingredient really benefits the skin or if it is just a psychological benefit.

I did notice after 5 minutes of air drying that my skin starting feeling tight. I fought with myself about applying my favored night time moisturizing cream because I wanted to see if the cleanser itself would cause any irritation to my semi-sensitive skin. It did. After ten minutes the tingling sensation was gone but the dryness prevailed and my cheeks felt hot. I looked in the mirror and there was noticeable redness.

In my opinion, this product cleans but the DEEP CLEANSING claim is really saying it will strip your skin of all moisture. I had to double the amount of my nightly moisturizing cream to negate the effects of the harsh ingredients in this cleanser.

If you are even a teeny bit sensitive to products I would really avoid this product. I overall was a fan of Biore but honestly, after researching the ingredients found here I am just going to have to say "Good Luck and Goodbye".

I have a mix of dry/oily skin. I love the way it cleans my skin. It feels fresh, and gave you a ""detox" feeling. It gives you a slighlty tingling feeling thats makes you face feels refresh. The self foaming product makes the cleaning more true like. I love the way it cleans my skin and detoxsify , You only need a liitle of product so it last. You would love the cleaning feeling it gave you to the skin. I would update my review considering mosterizing and healthfull improvment in long term use.

Buy Biore 4 In 1 Detoxifying Cleanser, 6.7 Ounce Now

This is the strangest cleanser I've ever tried! I've used a lot of Biore products over the years and have found that most tend to be geared towards oily or acne-prone skin. I expected that this product would be stripping or drying to my combination/dry mature skin, but it really wasn't!

It doesn't take much for my skin to feel tight and tortured with cleansing products, but surprisingly this light and foamy cleanser just made my skin feel refreshed. It has a nice menthol-y and pleasant aroma and it makes my skin feel invigorated. It doesn't do squat to remove eye makeup, though. So I use my MAC Cleansing oil on my face first, and use the Biore on top to remove everything. I really like how fresh and clean it makes my face feel. Surprisingly it has not broken me out, burned, chapped, or made my face itch!

If you have oily or mostly-combination skin, you'll probably like this. I have some areas where anything short of a cream just won't do well, so I'm liking this Biore as a spring/summer cleanser for drier skins but not in winter. I wouldn't pass this up for myself as a summer cleanser if I found a bargain, but with my very dry areas it wouldn't be something I could use comfortably all year. Still a nice product and one pump does your whole face. Very economical.

I really like this Biore Cleanser. I blew off the 'detoxifying' and '4 in 1' verbiage as marketing-speak and focused on how it made my face feel.

I like that it's foams gently. And I was absolutely surprised at how smooth it left my skin. That said, it's going to have to be my Summer cleanser as it's a bit too drying for Winter.

Definitely recommend --but with caveats. It left my face clean and very smooth to the touch, but was drying.

Both my daughter and I tried this. I found it to be a bit too strong for over 45+ skin stripped just a bit too much. But for my daughter's younger skin, it worked very well. She loved the product and would buy more.

This has a light foam that goes on easily and cleans off easily. I don't have an opinion of the scent either way, though I still prefer scentless products as with the Simple line. But it definitely works well.

Infusium 23 Infusium 23 Moisture Replenisher Shampoo

Infusium 23 Moisture Replenisher Shampoo, 16 ozInfusium 23 Moisture Replenishment Shampoo is a good product that helps those with dry hair by moisturizing the strands of hair, making them less brittle and hair more manageable. My hair and scalp are dry and I count on shampoo products like this to help alleviate the problem. Infusium 23 Moisture Replenishment Shampoo does exactly thatit adds moisture to driedout hair strands and helps keep hair under control.

Infusium 23 Moisture Replenishment Shampoo cleans well and for those with short hair, a single washing is usually all that is necessary to get the hair clean. The product builds up a very good amount of lathermore than other shampoos and probably more than necessary. This fact concerned me at first, because I was worried that it wouldn't rinse out very easily. Fortunately, that isn't the case. It takes little effort and the shampoo is gone in seconds. The final result is a head of hair that is shinier than average, feels moisturized, and is free from worry.

I like this Infusium product overall, but one area in which I am undecided is the scent. It is like bar soap with a small amount of perfume and while I am pretty sure the manufacturer intended the scent to be genderneutral, it is more on the feminine side and some men will not like it. I find it tolerable and certainly not so bad that I would discontinue use. Still, it would be nice if it had a little more masculine scent or if there was another version available with an aroma more in tune with the needs of men.

Dry hair is a problem and those who have dry hair know that it takes patience and special hair care products to get the dryness under control. Infusium 23 Moisture Replenishment Shampoo is a good product for this purpose. It makes hair feel more moisturized, adds shine, and adds to manageability. It is a little on the pricy side and the scent could be a problem for some users, but the product is still a good one that performs the way the manufacturer promises.

I used this shampoo for like a year. Wasn't my favorite it was just cheaper and more convenient than some other similar ones I looked at. If you like this I'd defiantly try Joico Moisture Recovery. Its AMAZING. I will never go back.

After many years of having straight hair, I "bit the bullet" and cut my hair and had it permed. With this shampoo, my perm lasted for 6 months!! It cleans but leaves the curl and does not frizz the hair!!! I use this in conjunction with the Leave In Conditioner about 2 x a week.

I used this a couple days ago, because I remembered from years ago that it worked well. My hair felt nice, but my scalp feels like it's covered in zits or something. It's like a painful rash. I must be allergic to something in this that isn't in other shampoos. If I scratch my scalp, it almost looks like I have shimmery, glittery stuff on my scalp, which creeps me out. I don't need a glittery, red, bumpy, gross scalp. I'll probably throw this away or give it to a friend (and recommend a patch test).

Skyn Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths, 30 CountThese cloths clean thoroughly, leave skin smooth and soft, and stay moist no matter how long it takes you to get through the package. I have tried many cloths from drugstore ones that are premoistened to very expensive fancy ones and nothing compares. They are large enough to clean your face entirely and strong enough that you can flip them on the other side and clean again! Absolutely the best out there. Once you use them, you won't use another.

This is a marvelous product! I have fair, sensitive skin (born a natural redhead) who has battled acne since puberty. For the most part, it has calmed down greatly, but these wipes help even more! When I use them at night and wake up, I notice my skin is softer, but not oily. My skin is also brighter and my redness is reduced greatly thanks to the chamomile they put into this product as chamomile is a natural skin brightener, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory.

The only reason why I gave this product a 4-star rating and not a 5 is because it says, "no need to rinse." However, I notice that it leaves a "soapy" residue on my face and doesn't feel soft. Therefore when I use these wipes, I do rinse it off afterwards, but it still works wonders for my skin!

I will definitely be ordering more!

I use these damp cloths to wash my face (they have a lovely mild scent), let my skin dry, then apply moisturizer. Voila! I have never had any reaction or breakouts when using this product either so it must be a mild cleanser.
