I have been using Obagi for several years and I love the products. Used as directed (which I don't always do) they removed brown (sun) spots and hyper pigmentation, exfoliate and leave skin looking fresh and healthy. In the summer I limit the products I use to cleanser (number 1), toner (number 2), exfoderm (number 4) and sun screen (number 6) because I'm in the sun often, but starting in October through March I add number 3, number 5 and tretinoin to get maximum benefits and remove the sun spots I get from over exposure during summer. The only product I don't like is the eye cream whether I use the gel (which is gooey and rolls off the skin) or the cream, i just don't feel they work. I use Kinerase for eyes and love it.
