Dermisa Soap Sulfur Facial 3 oz.

I decided to try two other brands and compare them with the two brands that I have been using for a long time. Ouch, did I make a mistake to give them a try!

This is an imported South American brand and is real cheap quality like those little itty bitty Motel 6 type that is junk.

I will forever now stick with the two best brands that my dermatologist recommends Stieffel and also SulfurSoap found on the web.

It is a world of difference.

One day my mom bought this soap from Walgreens, but i was skeptical about this product as i am allergic to Sulfa based antibiotics. I looked up online to see if people who are allergic to Sulfa are allergic to its pure compound of it, studies showed that its most likely not. So, i gave it a try, and it truly does work! Now i didn't know that this product is from South America, but i don't think that should make the quality inferior? Sulfur is a drying agent, to dry the skin and bacteria on your face that causes acne. Sulfur is also the oldest know remedy to treat acne. I am not into the whole, lets put chemically lab created stuff on my face, so learning about this really boosted me into trying this!

Now i know that the drying part of it sounds bad, but like all new products your face will get adjusted. It took about a week to week and half for my face to adjust and moisture to retain. Within that week i notice my zits diminishing rapidly, i also noticed my scars fading. So i don't know the true experience of the other person review, but for its price, why not give it a try?

Another thing to add! If you wear silver jewerly while showering take it off. Sulfur reacts with the silver and tarnishes it. I have a tiffany's silver heart necklace that my BF gave to me. Now i have had it for some time and did gain some wear to it, but never looked tarnished. After a while using this product i notice it turned a bit to another color. I did clean it with Hydrogen Peroxide and toothpaste, (that seem to do the trick to rid of it). But if you wear precious metals. Be wary.

Vichy Purete Thermale One Step Cleanser 3 in 1 300ml

I love this lotion. I have been using it for more than 10 years, and my mother has been using it even longer. I use it for cleaning my skin and removing my eye-make-up. It does not hurt your eyes if it gets in there, and it leaves your skin refreshed and not greasy at all. I would recommend this product for anyone. And I will keep using it. I ordered the product because it was preservative free. What I received, although it says it's Jason Apricot Scrubble contains sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate--very certainly preservatives. It may very well be a good product. But it is NOT the product that is listed.

I've used proactive for a long time and know the consistency of this cleanser and that it's not as thick to the point of not being able to get it out of the bottle. It's literally stuck to the walls of the container and seems dried up. I kept the bottle upside down, shook, squeezed it, and still have to stick my finger in the bottle to get any product. I don't know if it was laying somewhere in the warehouse for a while, but it's not what I was expecting to receive. Very dissapointing, I wouldn't recommend buying from this source.

I really like using proactive. Its 3 step program is very easy and doesnt take a ton of time. (I actually only do step 3 1-2 times a week bc I have oily skin) But if you have mild to moderate acne proactive can certainly help. Use the cleanser everyday and you will see a difference in a couple days if not 2 weeks. It doesnt work miracle but proactive makes great products. Dont be surprised if it stops working after an extending period of timeits not meant to work foreverat least it didnt for me.

This blow dryer is amazing. I have long hair that can sometimes be hard to tame. I have always had cheap blow dryers, which means I spent 15 minutes drying and then another 20 minutes curling it or running a flat iron through it. I have been using Pureology Anti-Fade set for five months now; both the shampoo and conditioner. [I would share a link, but there are fake Pureology products being sold on Amazon and I don't want to point a link to one by accident---try Ulta!] The price for the Pureology set was something I would never spend, but my cousin gave it to me as a birthday gift. For a shampoo and conditioner to last five months is pretty abnormal for me, but the product is top quality and one I'd buy again.

I had this Milkshake shampoo (and matching conditioner) from a three-piece set I bought from my stylist. I religiously use (and recommend) the serum, and I could get the serum, shampoo, and conditioner for $40 so why not, I thought? Yeah. That's what I get for thinking. Yes this shampoo smells good. But it's like it turns to water when it hits my hair, I can't get enough lather without using considerably more than I am accustomed to, and it just doesn't spread around and make my hair feel clean. It just feels like a cheap drugstore shampoo with a great smell. It also makes my hair feel like decimated STRAW. Just---nasty. I don't want to make it worse by saying that Pantene performs better than this Milk Shake product, but it's true. I find that to be so sad.

I used a dime sized amount of Pureology every morning, and this Milkshake needs considerably more and just feels like fake-o chemical grodiness. I cannot believe that I'm about to go buy another bottle of Pureology but, it's a tough act to follow. My curly, frizzy, Brillo-pad hair just does not like the Milkshake shampoo. Neither do I.

Yes, it is costly, but you can avoid waste by adding some water to the shampoo. You have to be careful not to dump it all in your hand, but you won't be using as much shampoo as if you used it without the water. In other words, less waste and lasts longer.

This product does clean my hair very well and with about half of the amount of shampoo. As for volumizing, I am not sure what that is supposed to mean. My hair is a pretty short, low maintenance cut so if it's supposed to make it look like I have more hair then fat chance of that happening. It talks about T-sphere technology which is supposed to deliver the cleaning to the root of the hair. I can't tell you if it really does that or not, but it does seem to clean my hair very well and with half the amount of my previous shampoo. I've only used this for a week so I'll try to update this half way through the bottle and then when it's done. Merry Christmas Everyone!

This shampoo, while definitely expensive, is the best I've ever used. I bleach my hair, so it gets dry sometimes, but this shampoo adds moisture while also adding great volume. My hair is straight as a stick, but it takes and holds curl a lot better now. I highly recommend it. Like another customer, though, I definitely advise against ordering it on the special. One of the "extra" products that they sent along for me to try was horrible. I used the "leave-in" treatment overnight, and it was so strong that it burned my nostrils and all I could smell for two days was the smell of the product. I ended up plugging my nose with tissue and breathing through my mouth not attractive, but necessary! Stick with the shampoo and you'll be delightfully surprised!

I'd been hearing a lot about the "oil cleansing method", so when I saw this on Angel Face Botanical's website, I decided to get a small sample of it.

I, admittedly, did not have the patience to wait 25 minutes and do it more than once so I just massaged my skin (I still had makeup on and it was the end of the day) for a couple of minutes and then held a hot washcloth over each part of my face for about 20 seconds. I've always had pretty good skin, but I do have large pores. I was truly amazed at how different my skin looked after just doing my shortened version of the cleansing with the oil. My pores were less visible, every bit of makeup & dirt was gone, and my skin just felt really, really soft. I am addicted. I've been using several of AFB's products over the past couple weeks and I have yet to find one that doesn't deliver. I used to be a Sephora addict (I used Ole Henriksen, Skyn Iceland, Philosophy, Clinique, Bliss, you name it) and while they all worked well enough, none of them wowed me or made me want to toss all my other products. I had started to use Aveda in an effort to use "greener" products, but was surprised to find Aveda uses quite a number of toxic chemicals as well. Don't be mislead by the concept of putting oil on your face, it should be called honey. And I really do look forward to coming home from work to just put this on and a hot face cloth (more like for a minute) and the stress of the day melts away. People started complimenting me on my skin's tone and texture, you can just feel the goodness inside and out.

This is the first oil-based cleanser I have purchased and I am very pleased with the product. If you think about it, washing your face with oil makes more sense than using water and soap. Oil is repelled by water, so you have to use a harsh cleanser to clear your face of the build up of oil that accumulates all day/night. Oil is attracted to oil. Thats exactly what happens with this cleanser. Initially it feels weird because it doesn't feel like you can get all the oil off, however, about 5 minutes after you dry your face, your skin feels amazing! I live in northern michigan and the winters and wind are rough on your skin. My face is hydrated and I don't have the blotchy winter skin I usually get. I love this product! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a little pricey-but it goes far, so it's well worth it!

I rarely write reviews like this but I ALWAYS read them before buying products not just pricey products but any skin care product since I tend to break out with "cheaper" formulations.

Anyhow, I have been using Derma-Full for two weeks, once a day and my skin has a tightness and glow that is noticeable to everyone. I am a 53 year old woman with deep lines along my nose, and "parentheses" between my eyebrows, along with smaller lines. I have been using this product for two and a half weeks. I was so excited after reading the glowing reviews. I see little, if any, difference so far, even in my little lines. Also, I would like to let people know, you WILL break out if you apply to oily areas.
