I have very sensitive, eczema/acne prone skin. This is the best cleanser for my face. I use a tiny amount of this, and it lathers into a foam that cleanses without leaving skin dry. This also has the genuine rose smell to it without being overpowering. It's hard to find a rose product out there that smells real and fresh. The ingredients are also superior, they're all herbs and very high quality. I am so using this forever. It's expensive but totally worth it.

I am a big fan of this face wash. The ingredients are fantastically safe. I've tried all of the facial washes by JMO and this is my favorite. When compared to "conventional" (i.e. sulfate, petrochemical products), it isn't as foamy as one might expect. I find that with all gentle, sulfate free cleansers, you can get a nice foam if you start with a small initial amount to get the bulk of makeup or oils then rinse and use a second small amount to get a nice foam and finish the job. You don't really need more, just split it up into two parts and the second time will foam very well.

This wash does smell like roses (unlike the accompanying serum day cream)but it is not overwhelming.

As with all JM skin products, this one smells really good, and I'm not even a rose fan.

The lather is light and a little squirt from the pump goes a long way. It's easy to rinse off and doesn't irritate my skin or leave it too dry. I tend to change skin products quickly because there's always something that's not quite right, but I think I'll be using this one for a long time.

JM is one of the few natural brands out there that is truly natural. No long lists of unreadable ingredients like some of the "natural" products have. I think he runs his business with a lot of integrity from what I've read, so good for him for sticking to his ideals.

I have used John Masters products for the past 6 years and they are all I use for hair, face, and body washing. Wonderful quality. Consistent. This is one of my favorites. I am glad I can get this here and not need to take a special trip to Whole Foods when I am running low.
