CHI Infra Shampoo, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

I have temperamental, curly, frizzy hair. Last summer, I discovered CHI shampoo. My hairdresser used it on me in 2007, and when she was done, I asked, "What did you put in my hair? This stuff is amazing."

She showed me the bottle, and I immediately went online to order some for myself. I ordered two bottles of the shampoo and two of the conditioner. My husband has even commented on how soft my hair is now. And it makes my blown-out styles have a bit more control/less frizz.

Is it miraculous? No. But it's an excellent tool in the fight for manageable, soft hair for those of us with dry-dry-super-dry, tends-to-frizz hair (like I do).

I'm glad they have a subscription feature. I signed up for it.

Please note: When you wash with this, your hair will NOT squeak. If you don't think your hair is clean unless it squeaks, re-evaluate. This cleans very nicely, but more importantly, doesn't dry out or strip. It takes a tad bit of getting used to (the way it still feels "oiled" or "creamed" in the shower), but it's an adjustment worth the effort.

Note for the sensitive: I am very sensitive, allergy-and-dermatitis prone, and this shampoo has not caused any itching or break-outs. Although the silk leave-in products from CHI do clog my pores, but that's just the same as BioSilk (a great defrizzer that also makes me break out a bit around the hairline/chin).

The CHI Infra treatment (conditioner) and the Keratin mist (that you leave in for styling) are both also excellent.

I initially purchased this shampoo and the Chi conditioner (Infra Treatment) because I was using the Chi flat iron. Now I use it all the time even when I don't flat iron. A benefit of this combo is that your hair dries much quicker when blow drying which means less damage. I was surprised to also notice that my hair has much less static electricity while using Chi which is great in the winter months.

If you are concerned about using a sulfate shampoo, this is not for you. Unfortunately, the CHI shampoo has the bad sulfates in it. However, I do like the infra system still. Good cheap (but not TOO cheap) option. I really like the leave in silk infusion in the line.

My hair easily gets oily when I used this shampoo. The smell is not as great as Chi infusion. I don't like it.
