Avon Anew Clinical Advanced Retexturizing Peel (30 Pads)

I bought this product, along with the Avon Anew Dermebrasion Cream. I have been using the two as a system for about three weeks now and my skin has made a complete 360! I have always suffered from severe acne, on top and under my skin, and it has resulted in severe acne scarring (and I'm African American, so our skin is the most difficult to cure). Nothing else has ever worked, except this. The bumpiness is gone, and miraculously my scars are fading. I couldn't be happier, and after years of trying, I'm finally getting the skin I deserve! Well Worth the money!!!

I have been using this product for almost a month now and I love it. As suggested by others, I started using the Avon dermabrasion, followed by this Retexturizing Peel. I then apply the Avon Wrinkle Corrector. If I have time, I wait several hours before putting on the Wrinkle Corrector to let the peel have longer time without a cream. Huge difference in skin. As I mentioned in another review, my skin does not look 30, but at 60+ years I will leave the house without foundaion! Just some eye makeup, undereye concealer and lipstick. I plan on continuing with this series of products.

Thank you Amazon for allowing sellers to offer products at a better price. I know Avon does not approve, but those of us trying to save a little money, appreciate the help. Everything I have purchased along this line is factory wrapped an sealed; looks just the same as what I buy from my Avon representative. Same texture, smell, look.

This is a product that delivers results fast! After a week and a half, I could see a visible difference in the texture of my skin, along with minimizing uneven tones. this is a very easy product to use. Just wipe your skin with the pads. You can feel the tingle that it is working almost immediately. When someone says you look tired, they are saying you look old. I am in my 60's and this product makes me look "rested." I notice a softening of lines and and a "tighter" appearance to my skin. I use it twice a week.

I have never posted a review before, but I was so disappointed with this purchase that I felt that I had to write a review. Like other posters already wrote, THIS IS NOT a 2-pack. If I had read the reviews I would have known and I would never have ordered this. If you regularly shop on Amazon and use Amazon Prime, you know that the "2-pack" image means you are getting TWO packages of the same product. This is really, really deceptive with this as the image is present. Though when I got the package delivered there was only one package. It contained 2 bottles 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner it is a set... one set not a "2-pack". The product itself is good, I already use it and was just looking for the smaller travel size for an upcoming trip, but I wouldn't have paid this much for the travel sizes if I knew it was one set. Very disappointed.

I am almost done with my first bottle of this, and WOW. It seems like my skin (acne prone, t-zone oily) went through a bit of a detox breakout at first but I kept using it. I love all of the Passport to Organics products. I have used several of them and they all work great! Cruelty-free & "vegan" (you wont be washing your hair in dead animals!) & at a reasonable price it was exactly what I was looking for, I got the shampoo also which is also excellent. A firm warning, however, be VERY careful how much you use, I have very long hair & for the 1st time ever, a dime-size amount does the trick, it doesn't feel like enough at 1st but when you rinse it is saturates the rest of your hair..use to much & your hair WILL be greasy. Besides that (& that's really actually a good thing-lasts MUCH longer), it smells incredible & makes my hair silky soft & manageable. I would def recommend to a friend.

I used this along with the Alba Honeydew Nourishing Hair Wash (shampoo). Used together, both products worked fine for the first few days. After about a week, however, I started noticing a buildup that was making my hair look and feel matted. I continued use for another week or two, hoping that my hair would adjust, or hoping that perhaps I just needed to rinse a bit longer in each shower. The buildup continued to worsen, however, to the point when I absolutely could not use the products any longer. I would have really loved to love this product, with all its natural ingredients and its lack of harmful chemicals. Until they find a way to prevent this buildup, however, I'll just have to stick with my expensive Pureology.

I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo & conditioner & it makes my hair super-soft & manageable. Something to note, I have long hair so generally (w/other shampoos) I use more conditioner than shampoo as it usually doesn't go very far, w/this brand, a tiny amount of conditioner goes a VERY long way (I usually use like maybe the size of a dime amount & at 1st it doesn't feel like enough but when you rinse it, it's plenty. Use too much & your hair WILL be greasy). The shampoo itself I use quite a bit more to get it to fully suds-up. Simply a switch of what I was used to in the past, no real biggie. This line has the added benefit of being 100% cruelty free & "vegan" (meaning your not washing your hair in dead animals) which is precisely what I was looking for but most are insanely pricey, not this 1. I will be sticking to this brand from now on. It can be a little difficult to find, you'll have to search Amazon or the Alba website w/the exact name & you will never find it in a retail shop (unless maybe if you live in an area w/like specialty shops or something-I do not) but it is absolutely worth it & it is fairly readily available on Amazon if you know what your looking for. Give it a try & enjoy!!

This shampoo and the conditioner that goes with it are made to clean the scalp and help to reduce hair loss due to clogged pours. It works great especially after using the name brand products from the store. I've been using this for over a year and have noticed that my hair is staying put. No more flakes or hair loss.

I have begun taking a medication that has a known side effect of causing hair loss. I'm really worried about it. One of the things that people say really helps nip that side effect in the bud is this shampoo. Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Facial Cleanser-6.8 oz

I have what my dermatologist describes as mild to moderate rosacea. This problem has been getting progressively worse over a long period of time. I have never used any other product specifically for my rosacea except the medications perscribed by my doctor. While doing some research on the internet about rosacea I came across Eucerin as a sponsor of one of the sites. I already use a product from this company for a hand lotion and knew that it did a fabulous job for that and I began to wonder if the Redness Relief line might work also.

I have been using the Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser twice a day for two weeks now. I can see a marked difference in my face. I realize that all the instructions for this product state that for best results you should use if consistently for four weeks and I fully intend to do that.

Now, for some specific information. This is one of those tubes which sit on the opening/cap. DO NOT open the tube with it in that position. The product is rather thin and the first time I used it I had about a week's worth of product in my hand before I realized what was happening. I hold the tube sideways and squeeze out an amount about the size of a dime. Believe me, it is sufficient to cleanse my entire face. One slight drawback is that my skin does feel rather "tight" after the skin has completely dried. I don't think it would be very comfortable to just leave it that way. I use the Redness Relief Soothing Moisture Lotion in the daytime and the Rednes Relief Soothing Night Creme at bedtime. I am extremely sensitive to smells and odor and am very pleased to say that none of these products have any fragrance at all. (Some products claim to be fragrance free but if you are sensitive you find that it is often not a true claim.)

I will update this information after the full four weeks have elapsed. I hope my experience will help you in your decision making. I had trouble finding all three of these products at any one spot (in fact, I never did find the Night Creme here) so I just ordered all of them from Amazon.

****April 26, 2008****My trial period is up and now for the update. I have seen a high degree of difference in my skin tone since using the three Eucerin products. I would estimate as much as a 75% improvement. Since I have never used any cosmetics my rosacea has become more and more of a problem because people (friends) have begun to notice and be concerned for me. These three products, used on a daily basis, have made a huge, noticeable difference.

On the negative side, the skin cleanser leaves my face feeling tight and dry each and every time I use it. I would be very unhappy using this product by itself. Since I use a Eucerin lotion product for daytime and a cream at night,they take care of the discomfort. On the plus side, a very small amount goes a long way and there truly is no fragrance. People who are not sensitive to smell really cannot understand why that is so important. But, if you are like me, you know exactly why that is a very important factor in choosing this product.

I know that the combination of these three products has made a great deal of difference to me. If I were to stop using one of them, say this cleanser, would I still get the result I have now? I don't know. I'm not willing to experiment with leaving off the cleanser yet. Besides, I've still got several months of product in the tube. I had a mild flair-up of my rosacea during the trial period. I had to use my prescription medication, no choice. The combination of these products have a cosmetic effect only, they do not cure or heal rosacea. But then, they don't claim to do that.

I have tried everything under the sun for gentle frangrance free cleansers, and this is the best so far. No drynes, no redness, no acne! FINALLY A PRODUCT I AM NOT ALLERGIC TO!!!! THANK YOU.

This product made my skin really dry. After I use it I can see dry patches on my cheeks and forehead and it appears that my skin is peeling. It also did not reduce redness. This product may work for some, but was not helpful to my sensitive skin. On a positive note, it doesn't sting or irritate my skin.

As a rule of thumb, gel cleansers are not for dry skin and as a person who has been on accutane for the past 5 months let me just say that rule holds true in this instance. If you are on accutane or have dry skin in general I would stay away from this product since it just irritated me after only 2 washes. Instead I would recommend Cetaphil gentle cleanser and you will be fine. The night creme is a nice compliment if you have dry peeling skin and need relief, but pass on the cleanser.

I can't speak for rosacea/acne sufferer's, so I would not deter those individuals from trying this product. No two people have the same reaction to every product, but if you have dry, sensitive skin beware!

This tonic is exactly what I need to keep my skin in good condition and pH balanced. I spray it on a cotton pad and dab it onto my face after I wash my face and it doesn't sting, which a tonic shouldn't do! It's better than most of the drug store ones I've tried and it's ingredients make this tonic completely worth it.

Yardley English Lavender French milled soap has a true lavender fragrance and makes a very nice lather. The bar lasts quite some time and it will last even longer if it is aged for a few months prior to use (although it will lose some of the smell) so I usually unwrap it and place it in my dresser drawers and linen closet where it gives a clean, delicate scent to the items stored there.

Not only is this a good quality soap, it is readily available and is much less expensive than soap of similar quality imported from Europe. The English Rose and and especially the Lemon Verbena scents are also quite nice but the lavender remains my favorite. If you have stuck with Ivory and have never used a French milled soap, give this a try. Highly recommended.

I can't remember how I found out about Aquanil but I'm glad I did! After years of using Cetaphil, my skin began to become sensitized to it (I'm thinking it was because of all the parbens it contains). Aquanil does not use parabens; plus, it contains yummy ingredients that act as humectants which means skin that stays moist and soft! Can't beat that! Love, love, love Aquanil. It is a staple in my skin care regimen!

This cleanser was recommended to me by a dermatologist. I have rosacea and my skin is very sensitive. I also have blepheritis, and I can use this to clean my eyelids with no irritation of my eyes. I love this product, and I'm getting more for myself and some for my mother.

After I had really bad damaged skin from using benzoyl peroxide products for my acne..i finally gave up after my face was so sore that it would sting and turn red after only splashing with water! i went to the dermatologist, and since i had such severe sensitivity..he gave me a bunch of samples such as cetaphil, CeraVe, and Aquanil, plus some topical medication for acne. Cetaphil..I completely hated it, so, I bounced back and forth between CeraVe and Aquanil, since I only had the sample bottles. I'd say that they both were of good quality, and helped my skin get back to normal. I probably would have bought the Aquanil and gave it 5 stars, if it didn't have SLS in it though.

I started checking out facial cleansers on Amazon because, in my late 20's I'm experiencing yet again some terrible break outs like I did back in high school. It seems the last few weeks I've tried everything and nothing worked and the toughest concealer wasn't enough to hide it. Along with the breakout, I was getting welts and redness on my cheeks, and the skin was uncomfortable and hot to touch. So I got this stuff based on the good reviews and because it was extremely mild and soap free, since I didn't think my skin could tolerate any more harshness. I'm still on the hunt for another facial cleanser, but i'll keep this only because it makes a good shaving lotion. I guess thats a benefit.

Camille Beckman French Milled Soap

This is wonderful soap. I love all her Oriental Spice products, but this one surprised me no end. I got a bar several years ago, and the wonderful odor alone would be enough to get me to use the stuff. But it really lasts it's in a bathroom that only has people using it for occasional hand washing, but that one bar of soap is still going strong and is only half gone even now. My husband commented to me that he likes the scent. He said every time he washes his hands with this soap, it reminds him of his beloved grandmother. So it has a pleasant odor and lasts a long time. What more could you ask from a bar of soap?

The French Vanilla French Milled Soap has a lovely fragrance. It was packaged well and received quickly. I bought four bars to give as gifts and everyone loved the fragrance! I'm sure I will purchase more in the future!

Lancome Gel PURE FOCUS Oil Control Cleansing Gel 125ml/4.2oz Oily Skin

Really like this product...!!! Have adult acne... with sensitive skin... and especially in summer have oil control issues...!!! This product really helps without excessive drying like some of the other acne products out there...!!! Really like the Pure Focus line from Lancome... Wish Lancome would bring back the pure focus matting lotion haven't been able to get this product anywhere...???

Bottom line... would recommend any of the Lancome Pure Focus line esepcially for those suffering from adult acne... and also have sensitive skin...!!!

WEN Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner 6oz

I tried Wen about a year ago. At first I didn't like it as a cleanser. It left my hair greasy on top and moisturized on the ends. Then, I realized I was using the product all wrong. You need to let your hair soak first when you shower, at least 2-3 minutes of good water saturation. Then you pump the Wen (I use 12-15 pumps, and have medium length, right below my shoulders, fine hair) You work the wen through your hair in sections, rub some in the top, on the sides, in the middle, and the ends. Then you need to really work it in. Massage for at least 3 minutes. Then you use a very little amount of water and work it in with the Wen (massage for another 1-3 minutes). You will see slight suds (very little). Then you leave it in your hair for the rest of your shower. Wash, shave, etc, and last rinse your hair very thoroughly. It is a long process and involves more work than normal shampoo and conditioner, but if you don't mind taking the time, I promise it is worth it. I have been using it for a year now, and refuse to use anything else! I had very damaged hair because I have colored, bleached, permed etc, but now my hair looks and feels amazing. It also has helped with the greasiness of my hair over time. I started out washing every day and now I wash my hair 3 times a week at the most. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. Highly recommend it.

I want to start by saying I have also used the Wen tea tree cleansing formula and the sweet almond one before this i wasnt 100% impressed. My hair is long, wavy, is fine but i have a lot of it, gets greasy at the scalp and dry and kinky looking at the ends. I have tried every drugstore shampoo which sucked ( obviously) so I started using the better salon stuff since I have access to the Beauty Supply store discount. Nothing worked!!! My hair was always FLAT, and got greasy by the end of the day. It was wierd i would buy the "volumizing shampoo" of different lines, Bumble and Bumble, Loreal, redken, frederick fekkiai etc which tend to strip off any build up weighing your hair down, but it had the opposite effect and my hair was even more flat! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF??????? plus I always want extra volume and i was told that using products like living proof volume cream would help, I worked good the first two times i used it, then the same thing would happen build up and a greasy weighed down look. I decided that nothing was working so i decided to give wen one more try since at this point i had given up on good shampoo. The Cucmber Aloe Cleansing conditioner is friggin amazing, after one wash, my hair was clean, shiny and no static or frizz. It was full of volume and bounce, I have to say this one is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the tea tree one or the almond one, ESPECIALLY if you have oily hair. I did feel like the tea tree one left a flim on my hair and my scalp didnt feel that clean. This one is a noticable difference, i was really surprised how clean my hair felt. AND it did sort of "lather" in the shower more so than the other ones. It is expensive, but i dont care, i was so sick of having bad hair days. It blows any high end salon shampoo i have tried away. Its worth it becuase when my hair looks good i feel better about my day especially since your hair is a big part of your apperance. my advice would be to order the small sample bottles of 3 different kinds and see which one works the best on your hair. Since there really is a difference in each one. Then buy the gallon size in bulk. Also it does take a longer time to wash your hair when using this product. its not a 2 min process. You cant just pile all the product on the top of your head and rub it in. You really need to distribute the pumps of product evenly to different parts of your hair, the top, sides, back and underneath by the nape of the neck, then massage the hell out of your head. comb it through. massage again then let it sit for 5 mins, massage again then rinse thoroughly. I read this on another womans review and it worked better this way.

Wen products are gentle on my hair but I find I cannot use them all the time. My hair starts to get flat and greasy looking fast. Wen is also very expensive. If I pay a lot, I expect a lot. It's a good product but not for the price.

I have color treated, dry, frizzy hair. I have tried everything for the frizz, and every serum I could find, and every known conditioner known to man. When I saw the Wen infomercial, I jumped at the chance to try something different. Number one, the smell is great, and my hair felt really clean, but the frizziness was still there. It did nothing to combat the frizzies and did not make my hair shiny at all. I am really disappointed in Wen, so I am glad I just bought the 6 oz size, which was pretty expensive to begin with.
