Dermachlor 2% Shampoo, Gallon

I ordered this for my Cocker Spaniel who recently developed sebaceous adenitis. I shaved him to make controlling the inflammations easier to treat. He gets oiled down with a mixture of Sesame, Jojoba, Emu, & Coconut oils twice a week at the sight of any lesions or scaling and I rub it well into his coat. This helps loosen any scales and soothes his skin. I prefer food grade oils since he does self groom. Twice a month we give him a thorough bath with Dermachlor and since beginning this regimen, his skin has improved remarkably and he seems less irritated by the lesions. There are fewer scales and a marked improvement in his coat. I also give him Fish Oil every other day.

The shampoo is great, with a pleasant non-perfume odor, non-irritating (do rinse well though). It's safe for regular bathing and considering the price of other dog shampoos, it's a bargain. A gallon goes a long way. The delivery was speedy.

I have two Newfoundland dogs with allergies, and bathe my dogs usually twice a week. My doggie dermatologist (yes, they do exist) recommended this shampoo. This shampoo is a lifesaver. Both dogs are noticeably less itchy. It is mild enough to use frequently and really does help with the allergies. I highly recommend the product. It works best if you leave it on for a few minutes prior to rinsing. And, it is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial which means the ending result is a clean dog. And it doesn't smell bad.
