Facial Brush Clear 5 1/2" Handle

Facial Brush Clear 5 1/2' HandleIf you are looking to achieve clean smooth skin, look no further than this facial brush. Aside from the obvious things that are necessary for healthy skin like a good facial cleanser, a good facial scrub, moisturizer, and an overall facial care regime, this is the product to buy. This brush thoroughly cleanses away the dirt your cleanser left behind all while helping to exfoliate dead skin cells that leave your complexion really dull. My skin is healthier, smoother, and softer because I have not only added this brush into my daily routine but also because I try not to leave home without it.

The brushes were nice. Felt good and cleaned well. But I learned quickly they just don't work in the shower. Plastic brushes apparently just can't take any hot water on them. They grew hairline cracks from the first use and eventually the head broke in two. Lasted a few weeks each. They are inexpensive so I am not bummed by this. I have had this happen before with other brands too. I guess you just have to use wood brushes if you clean your face in the shower like me.

I've used a brush like this for years. When the last one broke, I couldn't find one at the stores where I usually bought it and was happy to see it was on Amazon. You don't need expensive "peels" and "skin re-surfacers" all you need is one little brush.

This brush is good for exfoliation, but its a bit harsh on your skin. It cleans very well, but I wouldn't recommended this to anyone with sensitive skin.

When I first used this brush, I had to agree with the comments about the bristles being too soft. You don't have to be a rhino to think so...this comes from having used products like the Buff Puff, where one has come to expect a certain texture with regard to facial cleaners.

However, using the Buff Puff too often, causes breakouts, so I wanted something to exfoliate, but not as harsh as a Buff Puff (and some of the cheaper brands can be very abrasive)....something I could use more often than twice a week. I think I'd read another review of a similar product where the bristles were cut down. Decided to try that and what do you know, it makes a lot of difference! The length of the bristles as is, I find too soft/awkward to use, especially for the corners of my nose; however, after cutting down the bristles I found it easier to brush with.

That said, I recommend this brush if you want an inexpensive face brush; otherwise, it may make sense to find something else.
