The Ponds Luminous exfoliating cleanser is a mild cleanser that works very well. It has a faint rose smell (typical to Ponds products) and is fairly easy to apply and wash off. The exfoliation is very mild (compared to some of the peach cleansers I have used) but it works well without over drying your skin. Also worth noting is that it will not clog your pores to precipitate acne like some of the competing products on the market. Overall this is great for daily use.

I've used plenty of exfoliating cleansers but most dry my skin out and give that tight feeling. This Pond's product cleans and exfoliates but doesn't overly dry my face, I would re-buy.

This has a lovely scent and a creamy consistency. There are little pearlescent beads in here that are supposed to help remove the dead skin on your face. I feel that this is so gentle I'm not sure it is removing any dry or dead skin. If your skin is very tender or sensitive I would suggest this cleanser because it was extremely gentle on your face.

I would not have even tried this had I known it was scented with roses but it doesn't say that. I don't like the smell of roses especially when I wake up early and wash my face, it made me gag. The product itself is nothing special even minus the scent, in fact my skin actually was dryer then normal and did not feel refreshed and clean. It has tiny beads that are barely detectable so it is not an exfoliant either. It does rinse easily which is the only plus but it didn't do my skin any favors. I love "Neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser" if you want a really great product try that. I threw this rose stuff away and I don't recommend it.

Pond's Luminous Clean exfoiliating cleanser is an excellent product. This product cleans your face well, with no residue. It is advertised as having soft white Kaolin clay . This is a mineral that is supposed to act on the skin to draw out residue and oiliness. The microbeads that are also advertised as being in the product are wonderful, they massage your face as they are cleaning it. I normally use this product on my face at night, to remove makeup. This product does this very well. I liked the feel of the product on my skin, and it removes makeup without soap, which I feel is drying to the face.

My only drawback with this product is that it is very important to not get this product in your eyes. I accidentally got this in my eyes once. I did not experience pain, but it was very uncomfortable, and I had to wash my eyes out immediately with water. This product cannot be used to remove eye makeup, so please do not try to use it for this as I did. Otherwise this is a creal that is worthy of your money.
