This is one of the few shampoos that I can use and practically comb through my hair without even using conditioner. In fact, until I used this shampoo and a few others, (like Paul Mitchell Super Skinny), I didn't know that was even possible.

Fresh is a company I have been interested in for awhile. I first fell in love with their product line when I used the Brown Sugar Body Polish. I knew this was a product that would become a beauty staple around my house. I have since purchased several other items from Fresh, especially from their skincare, bodycare and fragrance lines. I find that Fresh Soy Formula f21c Face Cleanser is one of their best products. And the price is right, especially given the cost of some of the high quality face cleansers on the market.

This unique face cleansing gel is fabulous. The texture is somewhat unusual. It is a clear gel and feels very slippery when applied. The gel foams, ever-so-slightly, almost like a lotion, and feels great on dry skin. The face cleanser does an excellent job of removing makeup and leaving the skin soft, comfortably clean and glowing. It also tones the skin, revives the eyelid area and conditions the eyelashes in the process. What could be better? And all in one single product!

For the winter months, this is a perfect compromise between the fresh, clean feeling of a gel and the comfortable, soothing feeling of a lotion. It is my normal-to-dry skin's new favorite cleanser. Soy Face Cleanser contains rose extract, cornflower extract, glycerin, mallow extract, chamomile extract, ginseng, aloe, soybean powder, soybean protein, borage seed oil, cucumber extract, vitamin A, vitamin E and gentle cleansing agents.

I have combination skin and used this product only about 3 days before my oilier areas completely broke out. I've noticed all the rave reviews are from people will sensitive or dry skin. On my drier areas the cleanser worked greatbut this is not a good cleanser for normal, oily, or combination skin.

(Tangent: I recommend PeterThomasRoth Combination Skin Cleansing Gel for anyone with combination skin. I've never found anything that strikes such a great balance.)

But when I was at the Fresh store and the saleswoman had me sample this product, I was thrilled. I don't usually spend tons of money on products, but she assured me that the tube goes a very long way, and that you only need a small amount on your fingertips. I was inspired to buy a tube for myself and a tube for my cousin as a birthday gift. When she used it the first time, she called me (at midnight) to tell me that she felt like she had just washed her face "in silk." It really is quite great. Other things you should know it smells a lot like cucumber, and this product does not create a lather.

Other Fresh prodcuts I've tried and love so far:

Sugar Lip Balm this is really good and long-lasting and smells good enough to eat...but please don't.

Sake Hair Cream okay all you frizzy heads out there, this stuff works really well (I don't know if you should use a cream if your hair is fine. I have super-thick hair the kind that stops hairdressers in their tracks when I sit in the chair). Moreover, it smells amazing. It's pricey, but the tube goes a long way.

I started using this about a week ago. Because the stuff is so spendy-esp. for cleanser that's on your face for a minute at most, I purchased the small "to go" size. Love. I have combo/sensitive skin and live in a hot, dry climate. I was a little wary because lately it's been super hot and my boyfriend doesn't believe in a/c, so I've been more greasy-faced. But this smells delish (very cucumber-y. Which reminds me of being a little kid, because I had a pet turtle who ate only cucumbers, but that's another story...) and feels so soothing going on. As others have said, it doesn't lather up, and I know that's just a wrong sensation for some people (including me sometimes). I haven't been more oily or broken out, rather, my skin feels more balanced--and looks more balanced, because it seems to soothe the redness that I sometimes get in splotches from who-knows-what. I feel sort of precious and pampered using this, which hopefully will continue to make me wash my face before bed! I look forward to my moments with this cleanser--and the 'to go' size is going to last a lot longer than your average trial size. I'll let you all know, though, that I don't wear make-up, so I can't tell you how it works on that (I would guess it does a good job) or how much more you might have to use.

Will splurge on full-sized next time.

I'm sorry to say, but the Cover Your Gray stick in Light Brown/Blonde did not work for me. The color of the stick looks OK. But on your hair, it is too yellow. I have light brownish hair, and when I used this stick on my roots, the yellow color stuck out like a sore thumb. I don't even think a light blonde could have used it. I've never seen anyone with hair the color of this stick. I'll have to go back to the Medium Brown, which has always been a little dark for me, but does the job. These sticks work great, when you can get the right color. This company certainly needs to come out with more color choices.

This is a great little product for a quick cover up of greys. It was easy to use,. matched my hair,. and looked natural. I get stray grey hairs on the sides of my temples,. and sometimes I don't notice them till I am styling my hair. This product can help you cover them up quickly and effectivly. I use it when I need to,. and sometimes throw it into my purse incase I am out somewhere and spot a few greys I didn't notice before. I highly recomend this product. For the price you get a lot of use out of it.

I bought this product because I use ammonia-free dye and it doesn't cover my grays for more than a couple weeks, but I am not ready to use harsh chemicals on my hair. My grays show the most right at the place where I part my hair and it drives me crazy. For the price, this product did a good job of temporarily covering the grays and matched my hair well. I tried another product which was more of a mascara-like applicator, but it was messy and made my hair feel heavy. This was lightweight and smoothed on nice.

In my teen years I was plagued by really bad acne. Now that I'm 24, I no longer have actual clinical "acne", which is a relief. However, my skin is still very prone to periodic breakouts, which is why I'm constantly looking for a good skincare line. I've had acne pretty much all my life, I'm 29 now. I've tried everything EVERYTHINGto clear my skin, but nothing has ever really worked. My esthetician recommended the body wash and I liked it and Proactiv wasn't working for me, so I decided to give the clearing wash a try. I bought the trial size, mainly because I'm a grad student so money is tight, and I wanted to try it out before I committed to spending $20-30. I love it, and I am never using anything ever again. Ever. For the following reasons:

1) A little goes a loooooooooooooonggggggg way. Like I said, I bought the trial size, and that was in January. It is now April, and I've used it pretty much every day, and I STILL have less than a quarter of a bottle left. A very small amount, a little less than the size of a dime, produces a big lather! It won't seem like it at first, but once it hits your face, there are suds everywhere. Its actually pretty surprising how much a little amount can do. Sometimes I exfoliate before I use the clearing wash, and when I do I need even less (pea-sized). If any of you are worried about the cost, know that volume-wise, you're definitely getting your money's worth.

2) Squeaky Clean! It washes off well and leaves my skin with a very clean feeling. It doesn't dry it out, and its very gentle so there's no irritation. I've never had such a great feeling after washing my face before.

3) Clear Skin. It does what it says it will. After using the product for four months, my skin looks much much better, and my breakouts have been greatly reduced.

4) The scent. Very lightly scented and it smells wonderful.

So, to sum it all up, this product is awesome. I recommend it to anyone who is fighting adult acne, or who has been fighting this battle their whole lives....

the ad shows a big bottle and all you get is a tiny one. Hate the false advertising it should be illegal. The product itself was worse! Has ingredients in it that are known to cause problems for scalp...sodium laureth sulfate (largest ingredient besides water)...and my scalp itched worse and got worse since I switched to this from Demarest. I suffer from very oily hair/ithcy dry scalp and this product is great! Within 2 days of using it I notice the biggest difference. I highly recommend this product to mousse users. It doesn't lead to crispiness or flaking, and it has an even better hold than mousse. Can be used to create twists in curly hair to eliminate frizz. Putting too much in can make your hair look a bit wet, but you need enough to de-frizz, so it takes some trial and error to get the quantity right.

Update: Ok, so I thought this was "Bouncy Creme" when I wrote the review so I used the product without rinsing it out and it actually still worked great as a hair product to keep my curls held in place (even though I didn't rinse it out)... But Bouncy Cream is meant for that purpose so it might be better... (though I didn't notice the difference when I bought and used this conditioner to replace my bouncy creme).

This is the best conditioner ever!! I co-wash with it daily and it really helps define my curl pattern. It has a great balance of moisture and protein and it leaves my hair looking great every single day!! Love it!!

Not sure what hair type this is for but I have long ringlet curly hair and it made my curls flat, dry, and frizzy which no conditioner has done before. My hair always has ringlet curls even without hair products. I used it for over a week and it dried out my hair completely. The smell is terrible like chemicals and I had to throw it away since it was damaging my hair. This conditioner offered no moisture yet made by shower floor feel like an oil slick.

Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel 3.3 oz

After work, before I go to the gym (sometimes after), or prior to heading out for the evening-I like to wash my face and clear away the dirt and oil from the day. I have oily and acne prone skin, however using too much of certain face washes with still dry out my skin. For a while I used to swipe toner on my face, but after a few bad break-outs, I realized I needed a stronger formula. Luckily, I received a deluxe sample of Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing gel and quickly ordered more.

Although this is an anti-aging cleansing gel, it does help with acne and can be used by people of all ages. Salicylic acid is a main ingredient in the gel, which exfoliates dead skin and helps with acne. Additionally, glycolic acid has been shown to help with acne. Initially I was concerned about using a product with glycolic acid in it because I use a pretty strong retinoid every night, and do AHA/BHA micro peels about once a week. However, my skin showed no signs of irritation when using this gel along side my other skin care components. I have very sensitive eyes-and I was able to use this product in my eye area without irritation, watering, or redness. Finally, a little goes a long way-the deluxe sample I received lasted about a month and half (granted I only used it once per day), and the 8 oz bottle I purchased has lasted me 5 months!

There were only two downsides with this product. My skin is naturally very oily, and this does not do much to control oil. About an hour to two hours after washing my face with this gel-my skin is oily again. The other downside is the price. There are deals to be had, and I only use this once day-but it is still a face wash and the jury is still out on how much of a difference face washes can actually make when it comes to anti-aging.

I would recommend this to people with oily to normal skin that can tolerate glycolic acid and salicylic acid in the same formula, but buy a small bottle first.

I am 38, still struggle with acne from time to time. I was given a sample of this at a store within a big box store, and I couldn't be more happy with it. My face has tightened up, my skin has become much more clear, and while I do not have true wrinkles yet per say, I am very happy with the product. A little bit REALLY does go a long way! The smell is fantastic, and it really does make my skin feel smooth. I just purchased the 8.5oz bottle here on Amazon at about $13 less than the store within the big box store! :) I tend to have oily skin, and this stuff in combo with Olay Regenerist has made a huge impact on my skin. So much more clear, soft, and I actually am getting carded for alcohol again. Something that hasn't happened in many years!!! I bought this because I usually buy cheap soaps, and I wanted to get something nicer this time. For the price, you're not getting very much soap so I thought the quality should be impressive. Instead, I am left feeling so-so about it.

The smell is pretty lemon-y, and I don't really like it. Also, it doesn't lather very nicely (I suppose this is the no-soap aspect of it) and I don't really "feel" clean after using it.

Anyway, it isn't the worst soap ever, but I definitely won't buy it again.

This toner by Gunilla of Sweden is great. The only toner I have ever used that did not have water as the #1 ingredient. Akta toner has this hydroponic Aloe vera as the 1st ingredient. When Im in a hurry I can skip cleansing my face by just using this toner and my skin is no loger dry or dirty and feels great. I started using toners 4 years ago and found the Akta toner last year,non of the other brands even Estee lauder at $80 did not feel this good.

At first, I thought Proactiv was a the problem-solver that I had been seeking as a woman in her early 30s that still deals with breakouts. I noticed results in the first few months, but after awhile it seemed like my skin got used to it and wouldn't clear up. Dear Proactiv: I thought by now we wouldn't need each other so much. I mean, heck, I am 43. We have been together for many years now. And each time I entertain the thought of breaking up with you because of my fresh, breakout free skin, and then actually stop seeing you, BAM, there's a zit.

What is it about you that is so addictive? The only downside is that you tend to bleach my towels and pillow cases. But I can overlook that.

So I guess we are back "on" again. Break up called off.

I've been using the Non-Foaming Cleansing Lotion for Sensitive Skin for about three months now and this gentle, non-foaming cleanser is my favorite in this terrific skin care line. I usually do not care for non-foaming cleansers. They just don't leave my skin feeling clean, without residue. Dove's non-foaming cleansing lotion really does the job, however. It removes make-up, dirt and oil without drying my skin or leaving it with a too tight feeling. You can either rinse the lotion off with warm water or use a tissue to wipe it off. This product can certainly stand up to similar, more expensive products on the market today. Highly recommended!

Just as described, the Dove cleanser was quite foamy, which seemed to grow in seconds; however, I was hoping for a more creamy texture. The foam was excellent as a cleanser, but I had anticipated it to be abit heavier containing cream. It is a good purchase, though!

I picked this up on a whim while I was out shopping for my usual face care. This quickly became my new skin care regime since it left my skin so soft and clean. I am really disappointed that this is being discontinued but at least I can get a few bottles here before it's all gone. I have dry and sensitive skin. This is great for travel since my skin always gets oily when I am in the car for a long time, road grime I suppose. A few minutes washing your face with this and all is well again.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who saw it elsewhere for a MUCH higher price. The fragrance is pleasant, if somewhat fruity, and suitable for young girls who want to experiement with scents.

Honestly, I bought this because it was a gold box deal. I love the ultra-cute Harajuku brand, but I already had this scent, or so I thought, because I have the fives scents from the solid scent coffret. But the liquid perfume is different and more intense. It's very non-specifically fruity. I'd worn the solid of L'il Angel before with no reaction, but this spray form makes my fiance say "mmmm you smell good!" whenever I wear it. If your significant other likes fruity scents on you, this is highly recommended, and I say go for the big size :) The full-size doll is cute, too.

I have oily acne-prone skin. I've used quite a few face washes on the market and always come back to this one. No other wash I've used really cleans the oil off my face like this does. It makes my skin smooth to the touch without feeling greasy for hours. I'll keep buying this product.

I love this cleanser, it gets my super oily face nice and clean, but doesn't dry it out. You only need to use a little bit, and it takes quite a bit of rinsing, but it works great, no breakouts at all.

I have acne since 10 years ago, I have tried a lot of products, and wasn't 'till late 2008 that I tried Neutrogena's Rapid Clear foaming cleanser. It really cleans your face, but the best for me is the beeswax ingredient, which makes your skin feel smooth, clean and absolutely clear of oil. You must wash your face with it 3 times a day (if you have a very oily skin just like me), and you'll see changes in one week, pimples and blackheads begin to calm down. But you must keep that rule for then on, otherwise, if you quit, blackheads will return. Recommended.

Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Detoxifying Scrub, 5 Ounce (Pack of 2)

I purchased this cleanser along with the nightime cream and I am not convinced of the cleaning powers in this cleanser. I don't feel much "scrub" happening and sometimes after using this I will use a pad from Neutrogena and see makeup still coming off (and I do not pile makeup on my face).

In the end the scent is nice and this moisturizes, but as for deep cleaning, I'm not sold.

It has an extremely gentle texture. The cream goes on smoothly a little accomplishes a very nice facial cleansing.

This well priced product is very nicely balanced and equivalent to higher priced skincare products. The lotion has a mild granularity which helps it accomplish the task of a rejuvenating facial scrub. However, it goes on smoothly and is not irritating to the delicate skin of the face.

The container lends itself readily to use in the shower-apply and rinse off and enjoy smoother skin.

Nice product, give it a try-no downside. Aveeno has made many improvements in its skincare line!

Used this product for about 2-1/2 weeks before writing this review. I can easily see one tube lasting for 2 or more months as only a tiny bit is needed to massage into your face and neck when the skin is already wet.

I am very sensitive to allergens and have a problem with many chemical scents. The barely there scent is pleasant and only noticeable when I brought the tube up to my face for a sniff test. I don't notice it at all when applying the product.

My face does feel smoother than when just using my moisturizer alone, and I was surprised that this was accomplished with so little exfoliating granules. Although part of me wishes there was a tad more of them per application.

Apparently the detoxifying aspect of it works since I've broken out in a couple of places. That too seems to be gentle or I would have expected a much larger break out at once to get rid of the toxins in my pores.

Would I purchase this product when it runs out? Yes, I believe I will.

I love Aveeno products, and this one is no exception. The exfoliating particles are very fine, so you don't feel like you're sandpapering your face, and it smells amazing! I used to be able to see the dead, dry skin on my face after I put on my makeup, but I can't see that anymore...and I've only used it 3 times! Also, it doesn't dry out my skin like crazy, which is nice! This is a wonderful product!

I use this scrub every morning and night. The smell is clean and not overpowering. The scrubbing beads are tiny enough to effectively slough away dead skin cells without leaving your face looking and feeling raw. My one gripe about this cleanser is that it dries out parts of my skin. I have a very oily t-zone and the cleanser actually balances out this area very nicely, but the drier parts of my skin, i.e. the corners of my nose and lips, become ridiculously dry after washing my face. It got to the point where my moisturizer couldn't cut it anymore. I love how this scrub doesn't break me out, but maybe I should invest in a more heavier moisturizer or just get another cleanser.
