hair rules daily cleansing cream moisture-rich no-suds shampoo

hair rules - daily cleansing cream moisturizing no suds shampoo 2 ozI have not used another shampoo/conditioner combination that makes my hair feel like this! I have natural (kinky) hair and I don't always do what I should to take care of it. These products make my hair feel soft and manageable. I am still getting used to the no-suds shampoo because I don't think my hair is clean until I get a good lather.

This shampoo is very good for my hair, but it doesn't work if you any products with silicones in them because it isn't able to wash them out at all. Since lots and lots of my curl-taming products have silicones in them without knowing about it, my hair would end up pretty greasy. I got the Hair Rules Curly Whip to fix this since it doesn't have any silicones in it.

So, as long as you make sure you don't use products with silicones you should have good results from this shampoo. My hair is a mixture of 3a/3b curls and tends to get quite frizzy and when i use this in combination with the curly whip it really does help keep it under control. Unfortunately, these two products are so expensive that I'm not totally sure if it's worth continuing to buy them...

I love this product. At first it took a bit of getting used to--figuring out the right amount to use and how without suds to make sure I did not miss spots (both for cleaning and rinsing). However, over time has been the real pay-off. My hair and scalp have really loved it. My hair holds curl so much better without frizzing out and feels thicker and softer.

i had no idea this product was formulated for curly or kinky hair when i bought it. i was looking for a shampoo without SLS or sodium to care for my brazilian keratin treated (BKT) hair. this poo does have metal chlorides which are technically salts used as surfectants, but no sodium.

anyway --my hair is slightly wavy and as i said, BKT. i absolutely love this poo. it took only one wash for me to get used to the no-suds and now i prefer the experience of washing without suds. suds now annoy me because i know they are stripping all the good stuff out of my hair. my skin even feels less dry now that i don't have sudsy shampoo dripping all over me in the shower.

i'm not a cosmetologist and found this shampoo on my own -so i can only speak from my own experience about using this with BKT. it maintained my treatment better than the coppola stuff I had been using and my hair is **incredibly** soft. i plan to continue to use this even after my BKT wears off.

tl;dr: LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

I have medium to fine hair, and alternate between this and a volume shampoo/conditioner every other day. It gets your hair clean without drying it out I don't even have to use a conditioner. It does smell a little weird, but it's not off-putting, I'm probably just used to hair products with a lot more perfume in them.
