DDF Salicylic Wash, 8.45-Ounce Bottle

DDF Salicylic Wash, 8.45-Ounce BottleMy skin suffers from the occasional breakout--I mainly have small zits, but I usually have one or two large cystic pimples on my face. I decided I finally had enough and wanted to go for something more heavy duty, so I purchased DDF Theraputic Skincare, Salicylic Wash 2%.

It doesn't have much of a smell and it tingles slightly while you wash your face. After drying my face I noticed that it felt alarmingly tight--this feeling has yet to go away after regular use. This product WILL dry your skin out. You need to use a moisturizer in conjunction with it. My skin started flaking, so I now use it every other day or when my skin feels truly oily.

Still, flakes and tightness aside, I have found that this product has helped decrease the number of outbreaks I have had. I haven't had any since I started using it over a month ago. I think it's well worth the cost; just understand that it DOES have side effects.

It dried my face out so I only use it once daily, but I have problems with cystic acne and it minimizes the cysts on my face. Definitely worth the money for me.

I don't use this regularly as it is pretty "drying" of the skin. I typically use this, "the week before" and it works great. Drys up all of the acne before it starts.

I've been using DDF products since my teens struggling with trouble skin, initially buying from my private skincare tech. and most recently from Sephora. While I love earning Beauty Insider Points at Sephora, I love saving money even more :) It's the same wonderful product that I love for a less expensive price.

I have struggled with sensitive skin, and reactions to many face washes. I have found this to be the best facial wash! I use it twice a day along with their toner; my skin is clear and does not dry out.
