Jason Apricot Scrubble Face Wash, 4 Ounce

The product I received is not the product that is listed here. I received "New and improved." They neglected to mention: "Now! With preservatives added." I ordered the product because it was preservative free. What I received, although it says it's Jason Apricot Scrubble contains sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate--very certainly preservatives. It may very well be a good product. But it is NOT the product that is listed.

Fast shipping. I love the product and am very happy I can get it here, however if you use it too much it actually clogs your pores. This is a product I would recommend to spas that give back massages. An apricot scrub from Jason is wonderful : ) No other apricot scrub comes close to this.

Sephora Brand Daily Brush Cleaner

I purchsed this product to use in conjunction with the Sephora Brand Brush Shampoo. In order to extend the life of my brushes, I did not want to do a deep cleaning too often, so I thought this would be perfect for in between. Since using both, I have been pleased to note that my makeup applies easier like it did when my brushes were new and my skin has cleared up some. I assume the clearing up of little blemishes is down to cleaning the dirt and bacteria out of my brushes.

I got both the 2oz. (travel size spray) and the full sized 6.75 oz bottles. I love using it for on the go brush cleaning (when I working on my AVON clients,) and I use it for my own personal MU brushes every day. I use it for cleaning brand-new brushes too (the spray is anti-bacterial and it dries fast!)

It doesn't clean the brush with just 3 4 sprays as it says on the bottle especially if you use dark MU like I do. Oftentimes I'd have to spray it couple more times than stated and let it sit on the brush for a minute or two before wiping the brush off. The scent is nice and not overpowering.

About the time my son turned four Johnson's baby shampoo a household staple began to fail us. It wasn't getting his and his older sister's hair clean and so I set about to find a replacement. Suave's Strawberry shampoo was it.

This shampoo gets their hair clean and leaves it smelling nice. In addition it works fine as a body wash, which means that I can clean the entirety of their sweaty, mud splattered little bodies with one product. After using it for over a year, I can say that I've found no downside. It doesn't dry out their skin or hair, and it's affordable.

Suave shampoo is one of those products that I've used for most of my life. I've tried more expensive shampoo over the years but keep coming back to Suave simply because it works very well and it costs very little. Usually I'm a huge proponent of the 'you get what you pay for' way of thinking. However, there are exceptions that prove the rule, and this is one of them! I usually switch the variety each time I buy more just to keep things interesting, but aside from that, I've been pretty much using Suave for 15+ years.

That said, I have short, uncomplicated hair that's only dislike is conditioner (it makes parts of my hair stand on end for no apparent reason). I don't do much styling aside from a little Fiber Molding Creme to spike the front a little bit, so my shampoo needs are probably not as complicated as someone with long, curly hair. For a guy (or woman with short hair) this stuff is perfect and does exactly what I need it to: clean my hair. It's worth trying even if you think you might not end up loving it, simply because it's inexpensive, so if it doesn't work out, you've lost nothing.

For the price, I can't find a shampoo that is as good. This is straight up the least expensive but highest quality shampoo out there. Recommended to anyone without complicated hair, for use with kids, or as an alternative to more expensive shampoo that does exactly the same thing.

I am someone who normally wants everything thing as pure and organic as possible, but for this, I make an exception. I had the keratin smoothing treatment done last year (prior to the recent controversial information that has emerged) and I purchased only the shampoo at the time. I was fairly pleased with the results. Well, after a few months the keratin treatment had worn off and I was faced with a bit more time blowing and straightening and not quite getting that pretty sleek look that I had after the treatment. I was out of my shampoo, so I decided to purchase the set of shampoo and conditioner and see how my hair responded just to those alone. Needless to say, I don't think I need to spend another $300 plus on the smoothing treatment any time soon. I am not saying you get the same results with the set here, but it is so darn close that for me, the cost and potential harm, is not at all worth the marginal increase in results from the full treatment. This shampoo and conditioner not only smell great but leave your hair incredibly smooth and soft. Every time I use them (I normally just use my warehouse-size Dove shampoo and am fine with that) and follow with a blowout and/or flat iron, it looks far better than with my everyday shampoo. I am going to start strictly using these products to see the effect and if it eventually "builds-up" so that it looks that much better by using it daily. I love these products. Though they are sodium-chloride-free, they still contain SLS if that is a concern of yours. Finally, this is a better price than in the salon. It can be sketchy when purchasing a salon-only product from online as there are stories about false products being inserted into a similar-container, but I saved my original with a bit of the product leftover, and from what I can tell (without a lab in my home), it is the same product. I even examined the bottle to determine whether it is genuine, and it appears to be. That, coupled with the results, are enough to make me continue to purchase this product from this seller.

Everything about this product is misleading because it can't be used with keratin-treated hair.

Like most people whose hair was treated with the Coppolla keratin, I was told sulfate-free shampoos only. In fact, after my hair was treated, my stylist handed me bottles of the Keratin Care shampoo and conditioner and sent me on my way. Initially I was thrilled with the idea of my "free" high-end sulfate-free shampoo (after a year of the Organix Morroccan Argan Oil shampoo my thin wavy/curly hair was left a tangled frizzy mess). My excitement vanished, however, when I read "AMMONIUM LAURETH SULFATE" listed as an ingredient. Seriously?! So yes, the company behind our amazing salon keratin treatments also includes sulfates in its corresponding "keratin care" shampoo. I can only imagine how many customers' expensive treatments washed out after using this product...sending them right back to the salon for more keratin. Ridiculous.

Im so shocked at all the positive reviews this product received. I have used it 3 times and it has left my hair so dry and frizzy in a way it never was before. I used it after doign a keratin treatment which leaves my hair so so soft but combined with this its has the opposite affect. I will not be using it again and I am upset that I spent money on this big bottles which will all go to waste.

Murad Acne Spot Treatment

This is the only stuff that works for me. I have had acne since I was a teenager. I still have it, and I'm 31. If I consistently use this, it pretty much takes care of all my acne. I am not an extreme case, but I average about five or six noticeable pimples on any given day. This reduces them down to a minimally noticeable two or three.

I have dry/combination skin. If any of you have skin like mine, here is my acne advice. Hot wet washcloth scrub every morning and night. Use moisturizer with some alpha hydroxy. When you have dry skin, it is important to exfoliate because flaking skin will clog your pores and cause the acne. But don't be too harsh. Change your pillowcase! If you have long hair and don't wash it at night, put it back in a ponytail before going to bed. Exercise. It helps circulation under the skin and destresses. Stress can also cause acne, so find other ways to destress. Drink lots of water and get good sleep. I've also found that vitamins and fish oil pills help.

And please please use this product.

Do yourself a favor and read up on the different forms of acne before treating yourself. For so long I've been using Murad and being frustrated because some blemishes were persistent and Murad did nothing for it. The problem areas for me are nodular acne (not whiteheads or blackheads). I've noticed that this spot treatment does moderately work overnight on whiteheads, but that's the extent. I'm going to try a specialized treatment for cystic pimples that may work on the nodular acne.

This product is sufficient, but it's not a one-size-fits-all. Do your research!

I have been using this product for about 10 years. I have suffered from painful cystic acne for more than 20 years and not much worked on it until a Sephora employee turned me onto this Murad product. I have oily skin and while I do not get flare ups as often as when I was younger I still get them along my jawline about 4 to 5 times a year.

If I catch it early, when I first start feeling the painful bump coming on, and put some of the treatment on prior to going to bed, the bump is usually almost or completely gone when I wake up. If I don't catch it soon enough it sometimes takes 2 days of treatment 2 or 3 times a day to get rid of it.

The only thing I have noticed it that the product begins to lose its effectiveness after about a year or so. Since I do not get many flare ups anymore, I don't go through the tube very quickly. I can still use it, it just takes a little more treatment and time.

Like I said in my title, everyone's skin is different. I have read some reviews here where it did not work on cystic acne for the reviewer, or it did not work at all for someone and they blasted the product. No need to blast a product and its users just because it didn't work for you especially a product that deals with someone's physical make up. This product does work incredibly well for many people and I would hate to see a narrow negative review cause someone to not try it. Hopefully it will work for you if you give it a chance.

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, for normal to oily skin, 16.0 -Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

I purchased Cetaphil for normal to oily skin on the whim to see if it was any different from their Gentle Skin Cleanser line. I have the most polar combination skin possible, my cheeks generally are extremely dry whereas my forehead becomes very oily. All these problems are compounded by my dermatologist's retinoid prescriptions for controlling my acne, I end up with flaky and irritated skin on top of my oil and dryness issues; what a pain!

If you are cursed with skin like mine, I would not recommend this cleanser. Contrary to what it says, it does not "removes surface oils, dirt and makeup without leaving skin tight or overly dry." It does strip all the oils off my face, but it leaves my face feeling extremely dry, to the point where my skin feels like saran wrap, tight, plastic-like, and rubbery. In addition, the cleanser has an extremely powerful fragrance that I do not enjoy and really goes against Cetaphil's other products, which they advertise as being fragrance free for those with sensitive skin.

I will stick with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, as it is far more moisturizing, fragrance-free, and also removes facial oils.

I also use other products including the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, 16-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2). Both of these are good but work best in combination with other cleansers and exfoliants.

While the daily cleanser has more of a *cleansing* action, the gentle cleanser is more of a *moisturizing* cleanser. Meaning that one feels like lotion but cleans the oils from your skin more gently than this one.

Some people need the gentle cleanser due to skin conditions. If you just want an all around cleanser, the daily cleanser is the way to go.

One more thing about this package from Amazon. These 16 ounce bottles are BIG and very convenient due to the built in pump. I have found that one of these bottles will easily last me 6 months using it 3 or 4 days a week. I like to mix and match and not use the same cleanser every day. That makes these big two packs a GREAT deal, as this cleanser is normally expensive anyway, especially if you only buy 1 bottle at a time.

So if you need a nice facial cleanser, choose between this one or the gentle one depending on your needs. Specialized versions are also available such as the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser For Normal to Oily Skin, 8-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3).

Cetaphil is an amazing product. Our family has been using it for such a long time that I can remember. It is not sudsy like ordinary soap which makes it very easy to rinse. I have never found that perfect product that my skin jives well with. I read about cetaphil and most people talk about it like it is the 2nd coming of cleansers. Unfortunately this product caused my skin to burn and itch and break out very badly. After 3 days my nose feels like it has lizard scales and my chin and cheeks are a minefield of pimples. I have no idea how to fix the damage that this has caused. I used my regular product today and my skin still hurts.

Love these. These pads are great. I needed a product like this, but with safe and natural ingedients, for my pre-teens. They are gentle, but yet effective with their facial skin care routine. I wanted to buy a face brush, I was concerned that I would be tearing up my skin with a clarisonic or another type of electronic dupe. I thought to try a manual face brush for cleansing and exfoliation purposes, and I have sensitive skin. I knew by other reviews that this face brush was like one used by Shiseido, who has very fine skin care products, known for their quality. So I decided to try this, and was very pleasantly rewarded with a soft, rosy complexion. I don't overdo this, and exfoliate with a brush 3 times a week. I do use a complexion wash with this, so it is gently helping my skin. I am 51, and am told that I do not look it, most folks think I am in my late 30's. Take care of your skin now, and you won't need a lot of "help" later on.

I also think most folks DON'T need a clarisonic-type brush for their skin, we've been doing without one for most of human history. I think a manual brush with gentle cleansers, drinking water to rehydrate the skin from the INSIDE, and eating a balanced diet is enough. And good skincare and balanced makeup. Don't overdo it, easy does it!

This shampoo is incredible! I have a strange combination of fine, thick, curly hair. Many products tend to weigh it down so I will lose my curls. This shampoo works miracles by cleansing my hair without stripping it. I tend to shower at night and in the morning I wake up with a head full of thick curls. I've been using this stuff for years and will continue to do so. It's the only shampoo that truly works for my hair.

I ordered this not sure of what to expect, but now that i have used it a couple times I have figured out a good amount to use to get a nice "lathering" feel. It comes out like a thin liquid, then as you massage it onto scalp it foams.

Love the smell and the fact that it isn't damaging my hair like other shampoos. I have thinning hair, and after i dry my hair, it looks thicker and fuller. :)

Editing review 8/16/12... I am sure this is a perk as well. It took 3 and half months for this bottle to get empty, and sometimes i poured a lot out by accident and wasted much of it. I felt like it would never run out!

Which is funny cause its only 12.oz and some of the 24oz shampoos I've used don't last nearly as long!

I have been using this shampoo for about half a decade now. It is probably the best shampoo I have ever used. It is gentle on hair yet quite effective

in cleaning.

I got this item as a gift. I'd seen this brand before and always thought it looked good so I was initially very excited to use this.

The first time I used it, it was before bed. It seemed okay, but when I woke up in the morning, it looked like I hadn't washed my hair in weeks it was so greasy looking. I thought maybe I just didn't wash it out well enough so I gave it another shot. Bit in washing my hair it's like it just felt heavier the more I washed it, like there was stuff building up on my hair. I had to wash my hair 3 times with my old shampoo to get my hair back to normal.

On a side note, I'd usually consider my hair type to be dry to normal. I think your hair would have to be extremely dry before considering the use of this product.

so unhappy with this product. it stripped my curly hair and made it worse. It looked like straw. Had to do an olive oil treatment to get it back to health..i was in tears.

I like the way it leaves my hair though it smells like it is mixed with pineapple and that is not what I wanted. i wanted a real coconut smell. Otherwise it suits me.

This is a nice product that was recommended to me by my doctor as a way to eliminate propyls, such as isopropyl alcohol, from my care regime. While it removes oil and dirt fairly well, plan on soaking the cotton ball or swab. It's also refreshing to simply mist on the face and walk away. While it's not quite the same as the toners I'm accustomed to, it's nice to know that healthful alternatives are increasingly becoming available!
