DHC Deep Cleansing Oil 6.7 fl. oz.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil 6.7 fl. oz.I have been using DHC Deep Cleansing Oil for over four years now. I use it to both remove my makeup and wash my face. At the end of the day I wash my face twice anyway, so I might as well make that first wash do double duty and remove my makeup as well. And it does an excellent job of both. I use my regular Dermalogica face wash for my second wash. I also use Deep Cleansing Oil as my morning face wash all by itself. I have oily skin but I don't like to strip it with harsh or drying face washes. It does not strip my skin at all, but it effectively removes oil and dirt. My skin stays soft and not stiff or dry feeling. I have used other cleansing oils but this one works the best.

Pros: reasonably priced, removes all makeup, gently cleanses my face

Cons: nothing

I'll begin by saying I don't always have the best working relationship with my skin I'm in my late twenties with large pores, my skin is prone to dryness and breakouts. On the rare occasion I do wear makeup I often end up falling asleep in it :-( I could never find a cleanser that agreed with me anything with color/fragrance is an absolute NO and most cleansers designed for sensitive skin just don't leave my skin feeling clean or refreshed and certainly won't control breakouts.

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to have discovered this stuff (Thanks, mom!). I was skeptical at first, of using OIL on my face, regardless of what the Romans did. You only use a bit on dry hands + face, no lather but it demolishes waterproof mascara, powers through cream eyeshadow, matte powder or lip stain and leaves your skin feeling incredibly clean. It really does it rinses completely with no hint of residue and doesn't leave tightness or that 'stripped' feeling. In the months since I started using it my skin is softer, brighter and my breakouts more controlled. I don't use an extra cleanser after it just follow up with a moisturizer and I'm good to go.

Unfortunately, you can't just pop in at the local Walgreens and pick it up for 7 bucks a bottle; I've only been able to order this product online or via catalog. True, it's more expensive than any other cleanser I've purchased but a little goes a long way and the results really are wonderful.
