Unlike the Shea Butter Ultra Rich Face Cream, this product disappoints this L'Occitane-lover and is neither Immortal or Devine. I don't mind paying a premium ($95.00) for quality but this product was very drying even on the most humid summer day. Furthermore when you do not by directly from the company, the product is non-refundable. Lesson learned. Try before you buy. Will be worth a trip to the store before buying online.

I purchased L'Occitane Creme Divine, very expensive jar of facial creme. I was so excited to receive it, but when I opened it, it smelled like rancid oil...kind of like old tennis shoes. There did not seem to be a shelf date on the packaging that I could interpret, although there were numbers printed on bottom of jar. I wrote to the company to find out if this is a common problem and am awaiting a response. I did read several reviews online and several noted a similar problem. I do not know if out of date or spoiled products for skin can cause any damage, but I only used it once and am returning for refund.

I bought this for my wife. My wife has had thyroid problems, leading up to thyroid cancer. Her skin has been affected by the cancer, leading to different types of skin ailments, including acne, Rosacea, blotchiness, etc. This has really helped her skin look much smoother, more uniform in color, reduce the acne significantly, moistened her skin, made her pores smaller etc (or at least appear smaller). It's been the most effective product she's tried in years. It's something that she will use for a long time.

I recently purchased a travel size for around $12. I tried it right away and noticed it was very thick and had a displeasing odor. Another customer said shoes. I'll just say it smells old. I didnt find any information as to whether it was non comodogenic or not. I'll assume it's pore clogging since it contains 3 types of oil. My overall impression is that it feels like hand cream, smells unpleasant and made my pores look big.
