Olay Foaming Face Wash, 6.78 oz.

Olay Foaming Face Wash, 6.78 oz.Hard to find in stores so I usually purchase this on-line and in quantity. Been using it for years. Leaves your skin feeling clean and soft.

I usually really enjoy using Olay products, but this one didn't do the trick. I have a few major problems with it. 1.) It didn't take off my makeup well at all. If I use this face wash I have to use a makeup wipe first and THEN wash my face with this. Normally with other cleansers I can skip the makeup wipe, but if I try to do that with this cleanser, I end up with left over makeup on my face. 2.) Where are the suds?! It doesn't foam up at all, and it has a glue-like consistency. 3.) Not only does it feel like glue, it also smells like it! Overall, I'm not impressed with this and I'll be trying other face washes from now on.

I purchased this based off of other reviews as I have acneic skin and was looking for a oil free, fragrance free, gentle cleanser. Needless to say I was blemish free before starting this cleanser, but soon found out it was no good. My first clue was that it didn't rinse clean off my face and my second clue was the obvious breakout. Labels and packaging can be deceiving. My advice... if you currently struggle with breakouts DO NOT BUY THIS CLEANSER.

I have been using this product for years, and I don't want to use anything else on my sensitive skin. I love the way it really cleans your face well, removes make-up, excess oil, etc., and yet it is very gentle and keeps essential moisture in your skin. I love the fact that it has glycerin (which draws moisture to your skin), aloe, and it is oil free, soap free and fragrance free, too. I highly recommend this product, and it is very affordable.

I have always taken good care of my skin. Especially my face. I do not wear a lot of face make-up other than a light mineral powder and some eye liner. My daughter had me buy her a gentle wash bcuz she was starting to get acne. She used it several times. Not everyday, but a few times a week. She had mild reactions that include itchy, dry skin. Nothing major. She didn't mention it to me bcuz she thought that it was her acne.

I tried it for the second time this week. That was @36 hours ago. The first problem was dry skin. It looked as though I had just left the tanning bed. My skin was "burnt". Then, it started to get itchy and EXTREMELY dry. I applied a small amount of moisturizer to relieve the dryness. From there, my face became very hot and smollen. I have not slept and I am miserable. My face is completely swollen and it is very difficult to keep my eyes open. Worse yet, my lips are HUGE. I am waiting to go see my doctor for help.

I AM MISERABLE.
