I love these pads and have been using them for years. They have enough active ingredient to really help eliminate breakouts. Yes, they do have an alcoholic smell, but I've never had any issues with the smell or any burning on the skin. I do recommend that you not use them on your eyelids or directly under your eyes that skin is too sensitive. But I use these several times a week at night before bed, then apply a light skin moisturizer, and it works great!

Cons: It burns

This product doesn't work instantly. It was actually pretty harsh, but can last maybe too much. You have to be sure to use it often or else the cleansing pads will dry out and be of no use.

This product contains 46 % v/v of alcohol which has a very strong smell.I have not experienced any other side effects as of today.my only annoyance is the alcohol which when applied on the nose can be very unpleasant
