I think I have an oilier face. Most products are too strong for my face -they leave my face feeling "tight" (dry, dehydrated?). This is probably not good. Urth Face Wash is one of the few I've found that cleans my face well, without leaving it feeling dry.
The texture and viscosity are two excellent features of this Wash. It only takes a few drops of this face wash to cover my entire face, ears, and most of my neck. I find it frustrating when face washes aren't viscuous enough so I have to get a second squeeze of wash from the bottle -this is *not* a problem with Urth Face Wash. If you measure the cost of the bottle in terms of how many face washes you get (probably the best metric instead of just "cost"), the overall cost of the bottle becomes much less significant. I feel the bottle has outlasted many of my other face washes, in terms of efficiency, which makes this Wash inexpensive.
While I only have good things to say about this face wash, it does have legitimate deterrents for some people. The ingredient list includes: peppermint oil, spearmint oil, rosemary extract, and lavendar extract/oil. These /can/ all be skin irritants, depending on your specific skin type, though I have no irritation from any of these in this cleanser. Lavendar oil tends to be the most irritating of all these, even in very small amounts. Excellent face wash. I would recommend this or Billy Jealousy, both excellent products. Pricey but you mug is worth it. I use approx. 3 times a week. A bottle has lasted me more than 6 months so far.
