First off, I'm in my early 20's and have combination type skin with occasional, mild to moderate acne. I used nearly two whole ProActiv systems before switching to a Neutrogena kit and have found that this clears up my skin much better and faster. I find it very convenient that the Day Lotion includes SPF 15, whereas the ProActiv Repairing Lotion doesn't, even though ProActiv advises you to use sunscreen with their system when going outside. That would probably prompt you to buy their oil-free moisturizer with SPF 15 as well ($$ smart business move $$), thus adding another step to your skin-care regimen. I would recommend anyone with my acne/skin type who is thinking about subscribing to ProActiv to try Neutrogena first.

Anyway, the Neutrogena kit lasts around 5 months for me. I still get an occasional zit or two, but with less frequency than I did in the past. I use a Neutrogena Rapid Clear spot gel for that with success.

Word of advice: It might be best if you shake the tube of acne cleanser before you start using it. When I was finishing up what was left of the last tube I used, I discovered that all the "micro-fine beads" were gathered there, afloat at the very top somehow. I've been wondering where those were all along...

First of all, I understand that not every product will work for every individual. But, this one is far exceeding my expectations. I did some research online before I bought this. What I found was that what seemed to work the best for people was a combination of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. I looked at the wide array of acne treatments I had at home and they were ALL salicylic acid, but no benzoyl peroxide. I thought it was worth a shot.

I'm 35 and acne runs in my family. My mom still has it. I was starting to develop very deep, painful acne that would heal in one place and then show up in another place. Nothing I was doing was getting rid of it. I found this Neutrogena system and I noticed some improvement the very next day. I'm a little over a week into it now and I can't believe the improvement! I'm going to recommend this product to anyone I know who battles with acne, like I did.

I'm 29 and NEVER even had so much as a tiny pimple anywhere...until I got pregnant. My daughter is now 3 and I've been struggling with acne ever since. I get large, deep, cystic acne on my chin and sometimes on my forehead, and tiny, puss filled pimples on my neck, chest and back. I have tried Proactive for months on end with far less results than were worth the time and effort of all the steps involved (and the price). I have tried a variety of precriptions for washes and ointments/foams/creams from my dermatologist including Benzaclyin, Evoclin, Tazarac Cream, Clenia, and Zyiana. The slight drying was actually beneficial for me because I have olive skin, and I get hyperpigmentation (dark marks) where pimples were. They normally take several weeks to fade, but the drying effect of the nightime acne lotion helped to really exfoliate those spots and the result has been a dramatic lightening of those marks.

I would definately recommend giving this system a try. Get the spot treatment as well. I started out using the wash and night time acne lotion as well as the spot treatment at night, and then the wash and moisturizer during the day. Now that most of the pimples have cleared up, I'm not using the spot treatment. There are so few steps to this system it's not time consuming or tedius to keep up with. It's affordable (the bottles are large enough to last over a month even if you're using them on your back, chest and face as I am), it's quick, easy, and most of all, effective.

For the last five years, I've used this face wash. Yummy! Yummy smell, yummy texture, no irritation, no drying out, and very clear skin. Like, I don't get acne unless I switch to another face wash. An esthetician recommended because it balances and smooths skin. He was so right.

In terms of whitening/lightening/brightening, I don't know. It was a bittersweet moment when I started using this cleansing cream recently. It is just what I have been looking for in a cleanser: cleans without drying, removes make-up, easy to use, smells absolutely delicious (unfortunately for my wallet this might make me use more of it than I need!), and my skin feels so clean AND moist afterwards (and I could use some lightening). I'm reviewing the Curls Curlicious Curls Cleansing Cream shampoo.

This is definitely a very thick and creamy moisturizing shampoo. As suggested by Curls and other users of the shampoo, about once a month, use their clarifying shampoo before this. If you're used to the squeaky clean feel of some other shampoos, then this will take some getting used to. However, I find that my hair is more manageable after just using the shampoo and before deep conditioning. I do love this product and will continue to use it. It also smells yummy without being overpowering. I am using this shampoo along with the Curls Deep Conditioner, the Curls Souffle, and the Curls Elixir and I am loving them so far. I am currently transitioning from relaxed hair and am just 7 weeks from my last relaxer so I find the products very moisturizing and softening.

I was not impressed with this Curls product. I like some of the other Curls products like the Curls Milkshake and the Curls Gel-les'c, but this one wasn't great. My hair did not feel clean and felt kinda heavy and as if whatever was in my hair was not washed out properly. I love the concept of no-poo though and like the Deva Curl No Poo a lot better.

I really love this shampoo and wish I had gotten it a lot sooner. It really does what it's purposed to do and that is to cleanse the buildup out of your hair. And it smells awesome. I love this product as well as others in this line. I have this, the curls milkshake, the tea ectasy deep conditioner, and am going to buy more. Since I bought this and the others my hair has been growing like wild fire. Suggestions I would use in addition to this are vegetable glycerin in water as a leave in conditioner and a natural gel for styling, I'm currently using kinky curling custard which is awesome but sticky. The curls gel a ce in this line is also supposed to be good but I haven't used it so I can't say, but definitely get this.

ok so $38 for a bar of soap is pretty outrageous for some, but as a skin care therapist, i believe spending money on good skin care is essential. this soap is great. the ingredients are wonderful and effective, and it is quite gentle considering. glycolic acid is a lovely ingredient for anyone concerned with aging, acne, and overall surface tone/texture. i actually use this soap in conjunction with weekly acid peels. i can even use this to remove eye makeup with no drying or peeling skin. really worth the money and a nice transition for low maintenance types who want to kick their drug store cleanser up a notch.

I am almost 70 and my pores looked pretty big to me, not to mention age spots. After less than a month my skin looks fresh and smooth. It even has worked wonders on my flaky legs!!! I really love this product.

This is by far one of the most impressive face & body cleaners I have ever used. Actually it is the best I have ever used. I now use it all over my body and really like the results.

Background I am 43 years old and have acne-prone skin still!!! This has kept my skin clear and the blemishes are slowly yet quickly fading away. Now when you get it and smell it, it will remind you of a hotel/motel bar of soap just by scent. Yes, it is a small bar but a little goes a long way.

I will not use another cleanser besides this one. Yes it is $38.00 but I promise you keep using it and you will see that it is money well spent.

Gentle Face Exfomassage Brush, for sensitive skin

So I was a tad skeptical about this brush. There is no way a 6.50 brush could be as good as an electronic one. BUt I was WRONG! This brush imporved my skin texture in one use. The brush really feels like it is deep cleaning yet is really gentle. My lotion works better, my toner works better. Everything works better. It's a steal and I had SUPER FAST shipping.

At first I thought that there is a catch, as the same face massager is sold by Shiseido for $22. And similar products by other companies are sold for $10+. I wanted to buy a face brush, I was concerned that I would be tearing up my skin with a clarisonic or another type of electronic dupe. I thought to try a manual face brush for cleansing and exfoliation purposes, and I have sensitive skin. I knew by other reviews that this face brush was like one used by Shiseido, who has very fine skin care products, known for their quality. So I decided to try this, and was very pleasantly rewarded with a soft, rosy complexion. I don't overdo this, and exfoliate with a brush 3 times a week. I do use a complexion wash with this, so it is gently helping my skin. I am 51, and am told that I do not look it, most folks think I am in my late 30's. Take care of your skin now, and you won't need a lot of "help" later on.

I also think most folks DON'T need a clarisonic-type brush for their skin, we've been doing without one for most of human history. I think a manual brush with gentle cleansers, drinking water to rehydrate the skin from the INSIDE, and eating a balanced diet is enough. And good skincare and balanced makeup. Don't overdo it, easy does it!

SECOND UPDATE, ONE YEAR LATER, 4 Dec 2011: Just checking back in to tell you that my advice below STILL WORKS! The cure for a stye is this: SIMPLY DON'T GIVE YOURSELF THE STYE IN THE FIRST PLACE! How? Well I was a life-long stye sufferer, but now I've had ZERO styes in the last year, because I've managed to easily follow the new habits I described below for you. PLEASE just try and I can almost guarantee you too will be cured of your styes! There is no purchase, no cost, no pain -just a bit of awareness, self control and some simple new habits. If I do nothing else useful to the greater public in this life (besides serving my country as a U.S. Navy submarine officer!), at least I can help more people discover the primary cause of styes and how to banish them forever. Sorry Ocusoft, but you're really not necessary, although you're a useful, refreshing supplement for additional lid cleansing every night. UPDATE: 26 Nov 2010: OK, here's what I've learned about my chronic styes on my lower right eye lid. I think I've pretty much solved the problem and I don't even need to use these pads or anything else any more. After a marathon research session on the web, I found one entry where the person said styes are often caused by the staph BACTERIA from your nose. That is the culprit!!! So if you touch anywhere near your nostrils, and then near your eyelid -trouble will follow, GUARANTEED! The same is true, to a somewhat lesser extent, if you ever touch on or near your eyes with your fingers during the day, unless you just washed them -you know all about the germs (including staph) on your hands from light switches, door handles, keyboards, yadda yadda. So in the last year I have forced myself to do 3 simple things as a habit:

1. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER touch my eyes after my nostrils. PERIOD. Don't touch, scratch or blow your nose and then a few seconds or minutes later touch anywhere around your eyes -BAD, BAD, BAD! Always wash/Purell my hands after touching my nostrils, and even quickly wash the area around my nose tip/nostrils after blowing, if I have a few extra seconds.

2. Avoid touching eyes (or face near eyes) throughout the day. Just don't do it. Sometimes I will catch myself just as my hand is moving to my eye. If hands were just washed/Purelled, then OK. But you can actually train yourself to NOT TOUCH YOUR EYES OR THE AREA AROUND YOUR EYES -try to train yourself to not even touch your face. You probably heard that the typical person touches their face hundreds of times per day. So you just have to train yourself not to do it -it's hard at first, but it's doable. If you really have an itch, use the back of your sleeve, or a tissue, but DON'T USE YOUR FINGERS!!!

3. Also EXTREMELY HELPFUL: Every time I wash my hands after using the bathroom at the office, after drying my hands I then use the wet paper towel to cleanse my problem eye or both eyes. Feels good, refreshing and really keeps the lids clean all day, as they get wiped and cleansed at least a few times per day. Those bacteria that manage to evade steps one and two above, never get a chance to plant their stye gardens on my eyelid!

I've been doing this for a year now and have had no styes. I don't even use the Ocusoft pads any more, unless I just want to give my lid a good cleansing, or if I feel like there could be trouble on the horizon, nip it in the bud. So if you've been tortured with chronic styes, don't blame it on "bad genes" like I did (my mother says I have the same problem as my grandfather, who must've been susceptible, but also was likely an eye toucher!) -blame it instead on "operator error" -change your habits and you will prevail!!!

ORIGINAL REVIEW (May 2009): I can't live without these pads. Started using them a year ago, desperate to find something to help prevent my chronic periodic styes. These really work. I use every day, morning and night. I cut each pad into 3 pieces and use one at a time -only takes a second to snip it, and the box lasts 3 times as long. You don't need a full pad at a time. After applying, I rinse it off one lid and leave it on the other more troublesome lower lid. It doesn't burn, feels fine, more of a clean feeling than a burn. Look for the "Extra Strength" version in the light blue box -it's WAYYYYYYY better and not all foamy like the regular type in the dark blue box. You should find the cost to be the same -it is at my drug store. Verdict: LOVE 'EM. In the last year I've only had one stye, instead of my monthly battles!

I have been using this with Restasis for severely dry eye for about a year. My eyes were so dry that my eyelids would stick to my eyeballs in the morning. I couldn't see until I put some vials of natural tears in them but then it didn't help much, just enough to get my eyelids opened. It was awful. Plus, I was having eye infection after eye infection for years. I have eye plugs too to help with keeping my tears in my eyes (not much help either) and have used box after box of the tear vial drops. Nothing seem to really help. Plus, I suffered with problems with dry eye all day long. My eyes would blur up while I was driving, walking down the stairs or whatever I was doing. They burned, itched, hurt, crust up.....and was red most of the time. I used hot compresses on them and ointments....you name it, I probably tried it. FINALLY, I met a optimologist that introduced me to Restasis....he said this would work even with eye plugs...and it did help a lot. But I still kept having debri fall into my eyes and was causing me irritation. I had Rosacea but not too bad but he thought it was a contributing factor to the problem. But who really knows? So he recommended OcuSoft Lid Scrub Plus Formula. I thought, "Oh brother, ANOTHER thing to try." But I was game because at that time I had no other options. I looked at the cost of these and the Restasis and thought ECCCKK.....all that money....But nevertheless, I gave it a try.....it worked like magic! So I figued, I don't have to go see the doctor as much, I don't hardly ever buy tear vials anymore, I don't have infections so I don't need to buy antibiotics, steriods, etc.....so in the long run I'm saving money, saving my eyes and causing me a lot less stress too. I use one every morning and wipe away the residue with a clean wet cloth.....I use one side, all four sections on one eye, and then turn the wipe over and use it on the other eye. (hands clean!) then take a wet wash cloth and wipe it off. Then use my Restasis. At night, I don't use these, just the Restasis. I don't usually have any problems with my eyes during the day. This takes care of it all. I am sooo happy and thankful for this product. Plus, it's less expensive here on Amazon when I buy 2 with free shipping and it be delivered to me, right to my house. How wonderful! It's a great product!!!

Six months ago, I had never heard of brephalitis. I only knew that at certain times of the year my eyelids would become red and painful, making contact lens wear impossible.

During a routine visit, my optometrist gave a name to the problem, and Ocusoft eyelid cleanser was part of the solution.

I've used both formulas, and both are quite effective. I prefer the extra-strength formula simply because it is more concentrated.

I have used this product for approximately 2 months now and feel it is time to write a review on them. I first started using OCuSOFT when I went to the optometrist and found out I had dry eyes. In order to keep my eye lids clean from dust/debris and so forth it was recommended that I start gently scrubbing my eyes. I would do so 2-3 days daily, once in the morning, once at night, and sometimes once midday.

It seemed to be working great but during the end of the 2 months, I started developing a rash over my right eye but paid little attention to it. A few days later, a small rash started developing under my left eye and this was when I came to the conclusion that the OCuSOFT Eyelid Cleanser could be the culprit. I was not scrubbing hard and used this product in moderation. It has been a week since I've ceased using this product and the rashes are seemingly gone. Hopefully, this doesn't happen to others out there but just be cautious.

I have been using this fantastic cleansing product since it was first introduced. About 2 months ago, I couldn't find it at my usual retailer. So I shopped around and no one else carried it either. So I contacted Olay to ask what was going on. I was told the product is being discontinued due to lack of interest. Huh?? All they have to do is read the hundreds of positive reviews from satisfied users and they would see that there is definitely interest in this product. I am a big fan of the Olay Regenerist and ProRx products. I started using this cleanser and saw a huge difference in my skin's moisture and clarity. Fine wrinkles are diminished and skin looks healthier and younger. Even my dermatologist remarked on it.

My only complaint, and this is with Olay and not Amazon, is that Olay has discontinued this cleanser. The only place I could find it was on Amazon so thank you!

The mousse feels like it melts into your skin as it cleans. I have fallen in love with this product! I used this everyday. I follow up with a microbead cleanser once in awhile.

I have extremely complicated combination 30 year old skin. I've always had issues with acne (both moderate and nodule), I'm fair and sensitive, thus I scar and burn easily. I started using this product about a week ago. Although I've had to hone my dispensing ability because a little does go a long way, the foam is light and easily rinsed. I've noticed in a brief period of time that (as it's winter especially) my face isn't dry as it normally would be, the areas around my jaw line where I have discoloration from older healed acne (scars) have begun to fade, and I have a lighter more even tone to my face overall. My regular acne isn't exasperated by the product, in fact is helped along because it's not over drying or overly hydrating. The balance is excellent. I will say I've not purchased it online from Amazon, as I purchased it on impulse from a grocery store, but I'll be looking to order it online in the future.

Plain and simple, I just love the clean scent. Not overbearing or medicine-y??? Although, I am partial to all things with a pink grapefruit scent, this does not have the citrus-y??? smell. I keep it in my guest bathroom downstairs, and the scent works for both men and women.

This soap is great, but I have to point out the ridiculously inflated 'list price'. As of right now it is $48.20 for an 8.5 oz container. I guess this is done to make you think you're saving 85% when you're really only saving about 20 cents.

I love Amazon, but these absurdly tampered with list prices really bother me. They seem deceitful.

It all swiped off with such ease I was highly impressed. I waited and waited for the burning I was expecting but it never came.

Not only are these wipes extra gentle and effective they're eco-friendly AND made in the USA. I love them so much I won't be buying anything else from here on out. They're a bit pricier than the drugstore brands but so much better than any of them in all areas (no need to use more than one!) that they're worth the extra couple of bucks. Highly, highly recommended!

These wipes are great for traveling! They completely remove even the toughest mascara. I just love them. I actually got to use them before I bought them as one of the hotels I stayed in gave them out in the room with the other toiltries.

I ordered the La Fresh Eco Beauty Waterproof Makeup Remover Wipes in order to take mascara off. I don't usually wear mascara, but when I do, I like to have something gentle to get it back off of my eyelashes. They definitely work, and get everything off really gently and easily. They smell good, and they're a great size. My only complaint with these wipes is that they're incredibly oily. You have to use a cleanser (or the La Fresh Eco Beauty Oil-Free Face Cleanser Wipes Fragrance-Free Flow Pack, 30 Count, which is what I use) to get the oil off right after using these wipes, especially if you have sensitive/easily irritated skin like me. I'm kind of on the fence about these wipes, but I'm giving them four stars because they really get the job done. My ideal wipe would be one that works as well as this one, but didn't leave my face so oily/greasy.

I will continue to buy these wipes because I really like the La Fresh company. They're very ecologically-aware. Their wipes are biodegradable, and don't require extra water to do their job. They try to be water-conscious in the making of their wipes, too, recognizing the scarcity of clean water available on this planet. La Fresh is also a vegan company (meaning that they do not use ingredients derived from animals or test their products on animals), which is incredibly important to me.

I travel a lot for work and picked these up at a local retailer for use when traveling. I have combination skin. When I use separate moisturizers I've noticed that they seem to irritate my eyes significantly, which makes me think that my customers/teammates think I'm on drugs. I now wash and use product only before bed. In the AM, I shower, shave, rinse and then use these. They're more than enough moisture, my pores seems smaller on my nose, my skin seems to break out less. I also use these for a little light moisture all over my body bc the cloth is wet enough for face, neck, back, elbows, knees, etc. I really do like these a lot and would gladly recommend to others, especially for men who want something super quick and easy!!

My mother gave me this lotion and it truly is hand therapy...I keep it on my bedside table and apply it each evening, plus any other time I am in that area of the house. The Citron Honey & Coriander scent is wonderful, not too spicy or citrus. It smells fresh and invigorating.

Best of all, this lotion isn't greasy. I can apply it and it soaks in quickly. My hands feel soft and moisturized, but I am able to keep using my computer and other appliances without worrying about grease.
