You must keep adding water to it a little bit at a time, as you work the product into the hair, and it will never really foam like traditional shampoos because of the natural ingredients. I have used this shampoo for about 2+ years and started using it when I let my hair grow. It was recommended to me by a store owner who saw how dry and frizzy my hair was when I was using my old shampoo, that, I thought was totally natural but, have learned it was not. Supposedly this Lenore Greyl shampoo is, but I cannot swear it. Does anyone out there know better? What I do know is that this shampoo makes my hair look and feel so good. I don't shampoo as often, so, my little plastic bottle lasts forever. When I do shampoo, I only shampoo once and it doesn't latter as much as some do, but don't worry, your hair is clean. I am so pleased with this shampoo.

Smells great, left my hair soft and shiny but I used it for 2 weeks and after the very first time my scalp became dry and irritated and just got worse from there. Perhaps I need a different formula from this line but for the price I would think that it wouldn't happen at all. I don't consider myself a sensitive person when it comes to hair products, have used many, so I was surprised by this. What a bummer...
