I was searching for a cleansing product that didn't have any of the bad stuff... you know what I mean. I wanted something that was manufactured by a reputable company, to assure quality control. Something that was hypoallergenic and without fragrance. I wanted a product that left my face feeling soft with no tight, itchy, stinky footprint. This is it. Weleda states that it's pharmaceutical grade product. It is reasonably priced. The only shortcoming that I have found is Weleda's choice of packaging. It comes in a metal type tube container that is not friendly as you near the end of the tube. I bought a metal "tube-wringer" that is used to squeeze oil paint tubes, which is a great deal easier than trying to squeeze the Almond Cleansing Lotion tube with my bare hands.
