Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo and Wash, 12 Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)

This is not a bad baby wash, but I have to say it's different than the Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash 96% natural.

They both are OK, but they are different products!

The 99% natural is a milky liquid, and it feels like it has a conditioner in it it's better for the hair, but it doesn't lather a lot, and I ended up using much more of it to wash my son. It's fragrance free, but there is still some scent to it probably the oils.

The 96% natural is a clear yellow liquid, it has a strong fragrance (like many Burt's Bees products, unfortunately), and it lathers much more. The 96% lasted for over six months of every day washes, when this one is almost gone after a month... I would say that the 99% natural is a better shampoo, when the 96% natural is a better body wash. And the 99% natural is probably better for very young children.

According to the Environmental Working Group's work on toxins in consumer products, Burts Bees Baby Bee Fragrance-Free Shampoo rates a 2 out of 10. Lower numbers represent a lower health risk...Aside from the lower risk factors, it smells really nice. I know it is listed as fragrance-free, but the natural oils used in the product do have a natural scent (rosewood, sweet almond, coriander fruit oil). I think Burts Bees means "no added or artificial" fragrance when it states fragrance-free. My girls love it...it lathers nicely and rinses away quickly which is a plus when rinsing hair.

I am a total label reader when it comes to the products used on my family's skin and hair. I love the fact that this shampoo and body wash contains no sulfates which can be very drying for the skin. This wash is very creamy and a little goes a long way. The smell is delicious :)! Paired with the Burt's Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion and my baby's skin is clean, soft, mosturized, and has a nice fresh smell! Amazon's price is excellent! It's like a buy two get one free sale when compared to prices at other stores. Add in no tax and free shipping and we have a winner!

I used this shampoo for my kids and my baby cried so much and I decided to use it to myself. It was a painful experience!! My eyes burned 1 hour. This is not proper for kids especially for babies..

I bought this for my daughter because she has very sensitive skin. It works well as a body wash, but is not great as a shampoo her hair just didn't look or smell washed. The packaging leaks terribly. If it falls over, even with the lid closed and tightly screwed on, you will lose nearly 1/2 the bottle if left on its side. I forgot about that and took it on a vacation and it made a huge mess. We have since found another brand that we like better, but I have a couple of bottles left since I bought them in bulk trying to save money. It would probably be a good product for babies without much hair. The company just really needs to work on the packaging.
