This is the very best product ever if you have dry damaged hair that feels like straw due to heat styling and straightening products. I had my hair chemically straightenend thinking it would improve my hair when actually it stripped it of the proteins making it unmanageable without the use of a flat iron. After one use of this shampoo and conditioner my hair was amazing, it is soft, silky and styles without the use of a flat iron. It feels and looks amazing! The pravana keratin shampoo and conditioner that I used after the treatment only made my hair extremely dry and straw like, but after one shampoo with pureology...total transformation! A hundred bucks for what will be at least six months' worth of beautiful hair seems a decent deal to me. This is as good as or better than the pureology hydrate combination without the annoying mint in the conditioner. I used it on my very over-processed hair and it looks shockingly healthy. It's the best I've ever used. It makes hair a little heavy (for damaged hair, that's welcome) as well as soft and shiny. What it does not do is leave hair squeaky clean but that's to be expected from products meant to counter damage -it may even be the point.
