Been using the Buf Puf for apprx. 1 yr now and am 100% satisfied with results thus far.

I am a 26 yo female that has been dealing with acne since about age 11. I had oily-senstive-acne prone skin that scarred easily and left dark spots. I tried countless products (that includes benzoyl peroxide,Proactiv and Accutane). And nothing consistently worked.

Now...I use the BufPuf 2xs/day, morning and night with my fav facial cleanser(Purpose), followed by toner. That's it! And my skin is left soft, moisturized, acne and blemish free, and glowing. I get so many compliments and have got others hooked too. Mom uses it for even skin tone and wrinkle reduction. I would say it took about 6 months to completely rid the acne and dark spots/scars just because my skin was so terrible.

Only reason not giving 5 stars: wish they were easier to find in local stores/gets costly as u will need to replace every 1-2 mos. depending on use/initially chaffed skin but the was my fault for scrubbing to hard.

But the Pros definitely outweigh the Cons. Hope this helps!

I like the smell of this bodywash, but it seems I have to use quite a bit of it compared to other moisturizing bodywashes in order to get a moisturizing effect. Olay usually wows me, but I was left nonplussed with this product. Works alright, but doesn't meet the usual standard I've come to expect from Olay. There are other moisturizing bodywashes out there that work better for less money.

This is afordable and wonderful body wash. I wish the size was a lil bigger. OVerall it makes my skin soft and cleans well.

I researched both the Nutra Sonic and Clarisonic, and decided to purchase the Nutra Sonic. Here's some info I found, and also my impression of the Nutra Sonic after the first week of use:

BATTERY CHARGE I charged for 24 hours straight on the base, and the light didn't stop blinking. So after about 30 hrs, I removed it from the charge, then immediately placed it back on, and the light was steady. I've been using for a week on the same first charge. So far so good!

I was so concerned about this, because several of the reviews I read complained about the battery. I would guess some did not follow the instructions to charge for 24 hrs straight before use, while some did. You also have to face the brush to the charger when placing it in the base. I bought the WHITE version of the system. Seems more who bought the BLUE said they had the battery problem.

SONIC ACTION Nutra Sonic is also sonic action (it has a "jitter" / back and forth motion) like the Clarisonic; important difference between this and other face cleansing systems.

FOUR SPEEDS seemed unnecessary to me, until I used it. Seems the lower speeds provide deeper cleansing, while the faster speed is good for polishing the top of the skin. I like to have the option.

USE IN THE SHOWER very convenient. I used the body brush on my calves before using my Emjoi for regular hair removal. I found it was a much smoother result, since the hairs were all above the skin after exfoliating.

BRUSHES ARE PROTECTED by a plastic casing with holes in it, which allows excess moisture to drain / dry after use. I think this is a very smart design.

IT'S STURDY. You can tell by handling it that it's not a fragile item.

The jury is still out to a point, because I've only had it for a week. BUT, I am extremely pleased after the first week. I have normal combination skin with some adult acne on the upper cheek bones. After using the cleaning system, my skin is glowing and is much smoother. My makeup is going on more smoothly as well (I use bare escentuals).

I am very pleased with the nutrasonic face brush system. Wasn't sure what to expect in comparison to the clarisonic pro, which I seriously considered buying after my esthetician used it on me before a facial. As far as I can tell it works just as well and it is a lot less expensive. It doesn't have the timer like the clarisonic, but I think that is the only major difference. I can't tell a drastic difference in my skin yet, but I do like how clean it feels. I was a little disappointed that the brush only oscilates, thought it was going to run in a circular motion as well. I think I would like it better if it did both, but that is not a professional opinion. I have read a few reviews that say the brushes are rough. I struggle with acne, but my skin is not sensitive, so it doesn't hurt or bother me. I can see where it would be a little harsh on very sensitive skin, but there is a sensitive skin brush as well, which I haven't tried. I have seen a tiny improvement in the amount of blemishes, but I am also using a strict skin care regimen along with it.

Regarding facial washes to go with it... I have been using the ones I already had...max clarity deep cleasing foam and dermacleanse facial cleansing gel. I think it would work better with a more foamy cleanser, but I have not tried anything but the two listed. You definately need a little more moisturizer for the first couple of weeks as it will be a little drying initially. I use it every night and every other morning in the shower.

I found it a little "much" to use it every single morning.

I would definately recommend this to anyone who wants a fresher feeling complexion, especially to anyone who wants to get the clarisonic but feels it is too costly.

The Nutrasonic system is absolutely terrific, but I cannot thank Payless Beauty for delivering that result. The unit they sent worked erratically, for two weeks before stopping altogether. I have been trying to return it ever since with no success. The Payless toll-free number is in fact a fax number, which tells you something about their focus on the customer.

I since decided to use Costco to buy a new unit and discovered the two were manufactured somewhat differently. The Costco unit battery charger is made up of the base and plug unit as one solid entity, the Payless cord detaches and looks more flimsy. The Costco unit has English instructions, the Payless has only Spanish??? I almost felt the Payless units are some gray market rejects, perhaps explaining the frequent complaints of malfunctioning units.

That said, when it works, it is truly a remarkable tool to exfoliate the face and remove dead skin from difficult body areas like the elbows. My elbows have looked terrible for years and no amount of body cream would help. A few days with the body attachment, used in the shower for just a minute on each elbow, and voila! My elbows are now starting to look normal again and the layers of dead skin are almost gone.

Bottom line, I would recommend you go elsewhere to secure the unit, the inferior construction and lousy customer service at Payless are really aggravating and not worth it.

I bought it for X-mas and started using it right away just to see how it works, can't stop using it since! The value is AMAZING compared to the "other" brand out there that is so much more expensive. I love the Hanz de Fuko Products but this shampoo just sucks. They market it is as very natural and etc but after receiving it I noticed it has sulfates just like all other shampoos you can find in CVS. I tried it twice and literally broke out my scalp each time. It is just sitting in my bathroom now collecting dust. The conditioner doesn't seem all that great either.

I can understand why some reviewers might not like this product. Yes it is a machine with a metal vibrating plate, but its sonic vibrations ...meaning very high frequency. The plates are vibrating so fast that you can't even see it move. When it comes in contact with the pores it literally creates little earthquakes of puss coming out (I know gross). Our fingers don't work As well cause its too big to loosen the deeply embedded pores and this device helps in "shaking out" the puss deep inside.

Before you buy this it's important to analyze your skin to see if you need this device or not, because ITS NOT FOR EVERYONE! First off if you have normal skin with a few blemishes your better off not buying this product. If you have active acne with white heads and cycts, don't buy this because it will only aggravate your acne. The people with oily clogged pores will fully benefit from this product and I fall into this category. I never write reviews for anything, but this device really changed my skin right before my eyes.

It takes a while to get use to the device. The best tip I can give is not to press so hard into the skin, it should be in a 45 degree angle with slight pressure. I bought this because of the great reviews online and in my magazines. It works okay but not as imagined, I had to press hard to actually see any results at all. My face was left clean but red from pressing to see results. Not sure if this is for people with severe pore clogging. Over all, keeping the product but not worth the price. It did come with some extra tester size mask facials which I did love and ended up purchasing. Toner was terrible, slimy and left my face very greasy and shiny.

I absolutely love these cleansing pads. I currently use on my Neutrogena wave and they work great. I really notice a difference when I stop using daily (my skin seems a little rougher and my pores seem larger).

AHAVA Time To Clear Refreshing Cleansing Gel Facial Cleansing Gels

I purchased the Ahava Rich Cleansing Gel at a local store and loved it. Came on amazon to look for more and was happy to find it. The one I normally order was out of stock so I ordered this one, the "refreshing" vs the "rich". I must admit that I did not notice this difference in the name when I ordered it. However, once it arrived and I used it as normal, I found my face becoming oily again a couple of hours after washing. This seemed out of the ordinary to me, so I looked into the product order and discovered that this was actually the "refreshing" version, which is a gentle version. I have sensitive skin, so I can appreciate gentler versions, however, in terms of the cleanser's performance on my skin, this product would not have sold me on the Ahava line. It seems to leave my skin clean only for a short time and does not feel as clean the other version. If your skin is oily or you are prone to breakouts, I don't recommend this cleanser but would recommend Ahava's Rich Cleasing Cream.

I love this face wash by Ahava! I discovered the Ahava line while on a trip to Israel and tried the mud face lotion. I have a mild case of rosacea and extremely sensitive and dry skin. This is the only product that doesn't make my face break out. It makes my face feel clean all day and doesn't have a greasy feel or greasy residue left behind. None of these products are cheap, but they are well worth the money. I seem to always get the best price on Amazon!

Aubrey Organics - Green Tea & Ginkgo Facial Cleansing Lotion, 4 fl oz lotion

i've used aubrey organics green tea facial cleanser for about 10 years. it's the best skin care product i've found. the texture and appearance of my skin definitely improved with continued use. it is the only cleanser that has successfully cleared up the mild adult blemishes i used to experience. i won't use anything else. the green tea moisturizer is also excellent. (neither product is green in color as stated in the other review. they are actually brown. and smell terrific!)

While the Green Tea and Clay line says it's for "normal" skin, it's much better for those with dry or normal-to-dry skin. It's a very moisturizing line overall and contains many essential oils. Out of all of the Aubrey Organics skin care products, I like this one best because the scent is natural and not at all overpowering and it doesn't irritate my allergyand eczema-prone skin. I'm a huge fan of this line and recommend it as a complete skin care line, hands down.

The only reason I didn't give this cleanser five stars is that on occasion, I get bottles that are very watery and much less creamy. When I get a bottle that's creamier, I've found I like it better and feel it does its job more effectively. I saved a pump from one of the AO body lotions and that helps me not make a mess on my counter when I get a runnier bottle. It's very gentle either way, and doesn't have a strong or bad scent; it's a herbal, but in a nice way. (Their line for combination skin, however, does have a very strong scent. This one doesn't.)

My biggest suggestion, if you haven't tried this line, is to find the travel kit for your skin type (usually around ten dollars) that contains mini bottles of the cleanser, toner, moisturizer and mask, and try the whole set without mixing in other brands for a week and see what you think. That's what I did, and it was money well-spent. I discovered it helped considerably with my sensitive, eczema-prone skin and didn't itch/burn like many products do for me. It can all be tough to find in local stores, so buying from amazon or the AO site has been best for me.

Last but not least, don't forget to shake each of the products before using. Shake them a lot, and hard, since they do separate quite a bit. It's not green as the other reviewer stated--she must not have shaken the product enough so she got more essential oils than anything. Shake it a lot!

Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Body Wash Bath And Shower Gels

I usually prefer bar soap over shower gel but LOVE this stuff. I am glad to see it is now available for purchase. I stay at Hiltons quite a bit and they started carrying PTR products recently. In September,the Hilton in SF had it with their bath products and I smelled it and really liked the smell and decided to try it and as soon as I got home I went on PTR's site to buy it, but it wasn't available for sale yet.

I like the beads and I have dry skin and it really does help to moisterize. Being a male, one thing I hate about alot of body wash's is the smell. I LOVE the scent. Most body washes that moisturize have a "perfumy" or floral smell and this doesn't. It has a pretty masculine smell to it which is something I appreciate.

I too first experienced this wash while staying at a Hilton, but in LA. I've been using the little sample in the shower at work after my noon bike ride. They're always quick showers because it's a relatively short 1.5 hour ride where we don't get too sweaty. But, using this wash, I always feel energized and refreshed. It has a really nice clean scent. The wash doesn't lather up a lot for me, but I use just a tiny amount since it's a short shower. My co-workers also seem to like it because I noticed it was getting used by others and was almost empty! So now I'm buying a bottle to replenish the supply. It's a little pricey for a bath wash but I don't mind a little indulgence if it's worth it. If it was a little less expensive, I'd give it 5 stars. Actually compared to Nuetrogena, it's not that much more expensive.

The product, featured in Hilton Hotels, is great! It works into a very nice lather, rinses cleanly and smells good, with a hint of citrus. The problem is the bottle. The moisturizing/exfoliating beads in the product get stuck in the tiny opening of the cap, rendering it very difficult/almost impossible to use. Further, the bottle itself is very slippery if it gets even a little soap on it. The result the bottle squirts out of your hand while you are trying to squeeze it hard enough to clear the logjam of the moisturizing/exfoliating beads in the tiny bottlecap opening. For a premium product, this is simply unacceptable.

As with other Kiehl's products a little goes a long way. And the smell is amazing. I use this at night and in the morning. It is a great universal moisutizer perfect for any condition. My mother who is much older then me swears by this as well.

I never write reviews of products, but this one is well worth the moment! I had very dry, peeling, red, rashy skin before I started using this moisturizer. After one week, my skin feels amazing! It is very soft, the redness has almost gone completely away and it's not so heavy that I'm breaking out either!

Definitely use it sparingly, "activate" it before you apply to your face (like the directions say)

It is very expensive (cheaper at Dillards b/c there is no shipping cost) but totally worth the price!! I actually got a sample bottle from Dillards before I bought it and that tiny thing lasted me 3 weeks!

Yes it is very heavy. I have very dry skin, and I have tried so many products but nothing seems to give me a real moisturizing feeling. I use it sparingly, and usually at night or in the morning if I'm not going out of the house. I don't put make up on so I don't know how that would be with this heavy cream.

Wish it was cheaper though!

So i thought (until i looked it up online) it must be cuticle cream like my grandmother used to use...

so tried it for that.

Now my cuticles are youthful but not my face.

then i decided to look it up and found some info but not enough on using it?

Wish i knew how one is supposed to use this and where on the face is it to go on laugh lines? around eyes?

Farmhouse Fresh Pumpkin Puree is my favorite mask! I've tried a ton of different masks and this one not only smells amazing (pumpkin pie smell yum!) but it does a great job making my skin feel soft. I highly recommend this mask it is a bit pricey but you will not be disappointed!
