I have been bateling acne since puberty I'm now 33 and benzyol peroxide works for me.I like the gel consistency and that it doesn't leave a white residue, also dries fast.I just wish it would come in a bigger contanier and it's pricey, but it works.

I have been using this cream for the past 3 years. I absolutely love it. It keeps your skin clear of breakouts. I make sure I put on before workouts to prevent sweat going into the pores & causing breakouts. I would recommend this cream.

I'll say I've had prescription differin, and this had very similar effects to that. Except differin is $40 a tube and you need a prescription.

They recently made epiduo which has this benzoyl gel mixed with differin gel in a single tube. I've never gotten that because of the price, but based off its composition I can almost guarantee that will work great. Nonetheless Solvere works great on its own. 2 draw backs: first, if you put a lot on or put some on without lotion before or after, it will leave residue. Second, they have raised the price considerably since I first ordered my first bottle! It was around $7 back then, now its $12+ what gives?!

I love this gel! I think it really helps that it is a gel; I can use it with the moisturizer of my choice. I like it so much better than the proactiv lotion. With the proactiv lotion my face always felt greasy. With this gel I can use a moisturizer and the gel at the same time, and both absorb great. The only downside is that it burns my eyes a little when I put in on my forehead, but any benzyl peroxide would do that. My face looks really good right now; it's working!

I love this stuff. I am 50 and still can break out and this really keeps breakouts under control. All my teenagers also use it and love it.
