Yonka GOMMAGE 305 - Soft Clarifying Gel Peel for Dry or Sensitive Skin (1.7 oz)

Yonka's Gommage 305 is an excellent exfoliator. I am an esthetician that has worked with countless lines and products and I can attest to the efficacy of this product. First of all, the smell is camphor which does not bother me one bit, but I guess it is offensive to some. The 305 is formulated for d ry and sensitive skin and Yonka makes a 303 for an oilier skin type which has a lovely citrus scent. I find you can use them interchangeably unless you are very sensitive. In that case just stick to the 305. First cleanse the skin and pat dry. Another reviewer claimed she used it in the shower. This will not benefit you and is not exfoliating. The skin should be mostly dry. Apply a good half-dollar size amount to your skin and allow the ingredients to penetrate. Your skin will feel like it is getting a huge drink of water! When the product begins to get tacky, you gently "peel" or "roll" the product off your face with your fingertips. Do be gentle and support the skin around the eyes. There is no need to rub that hard. If you allow the product to completely dry, it will not roll off easily and you will need to wet your skin or apply more product to reactivate it. This process is what exfoliates the skin. It is very gentle and even the most sensitive skin types can exfoliate their skin with no inflammation or irritation. Once all of the peels are off the skin, rinse the remaining residue off your face with tepid water. Your skin will have a hydrated and plumped effect and clarity that lasts days. This product also doubles as a hydrating mask that can be put on in a thin layer and left on overnight. Just rinse off product in the morning and you're good to go.

Love all Yonka products, and this gentle peel lives up to the rep. The smell does not bother me at all, just cautious not to get it in my eyes, because it is a peel afterall. I use it in the shower, and it is a great light exfoliator that will not leave your skin irritated, like some of the other intense peels can do. Light, gentle, and effective, leaves skin glowing!

I love this product. Not grainy and impossible to rinse completely; nor that you have to peel it off. Just rinse and job is done.
