Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Purifying Gel Facial Cleanser

I used this cleanser just three times and broke out in a horrible itchy, scaly red rash all over my face and neck; my lips even swelled up and are peeling! I can't leave the house and can't stop itching. If not for being so self-conscious, I would include a picture. Bummer.

Do not be fooled into thinking this will be a gentle cleanser simply b/c it claims it's "natural". I have never had such a severe reaction to any other skin care in my life. I will say that I have sensitive skin, but on the back of the cleanser it states that there are calming ingredients to soothe skin. Yeah right! If I could I'd give this negative 5 stars.

I'm surprised to see people have had reactions to this face wash. It is my favorite! It cleans my combination skin beautifully and despite living in a very dry climate, it has never dried my skin out excessively (and I used it twice a day). I feel like this face wash controls my breakouts and lathers really nicely. I like that it's not made with dangerous ingredients like parabens or synthetic fragrance.

I guess my skin falls somewhere between normal and sensitive. Found this face wash at a local retailer awhile back after trying everything else. I couldn't be more pleased.

I have oily skin, and like a previous reviewer said, I have never had a bad skin reaction to any product before, until this one. It cleansed my face well and removed my makeup, but several days after I started using it, I notied dry, itchy, red patches on my cheeks. After a few more days, it had also dried on my nose and around my mouth. I returned the product where I bought it (Whole Foods), but even now, after not using it for a week, my skin and lips are terribly dry, itchy, and peeling. I am constantly using moisturizer on my face and cocoa butter on my lips (and again, I have oily skin, so I rarely ever moisturize) and my skin is still so dry. My lips are so dry around the edges that they almost feel numb. What did this face wash do to me!?
