This formula is great for my sensitive skin it's caused hardly any irritation, and I am slowly but surely starting to see the color and texture of my skin getting more evened-out. I am a big fan of this product line because they actually tell you how much retinol is in each formulation, and because it doesn't contain any extra fragrances or other trendy-gimmicky ingredients that might cause irritation on their own. However, if you do not have super-sensitive skin and can endure a couple of days of mild irritation, I think you could probably save the cost of a tube of this and skip directly to the 2x formulation.

I am 24 and I am starting to see small signs of age due to my excessive tanning over the years. I had some small wrinkles and discoloration that bothered me. I starting using Afirm 1x because of the recommendation to start with the lowest dose of retinol; this was about two weeks ago and I am extremely pleased. My skin tone is more even than I've ever seen it, my fine lines have almost disappeared completely and my acne is in check (for once!). Mini-Story:

I was on a pill form of birth-control + I was sad + stressed.. = that ish..effed me up hard!!!! (plus i noticed lactose products were causing my skin to break out too) soooooooooooo u can only IMAGINE how my face looked.

Lets just say my skin got cray-ziiieeeeeeee! If you want pics, email me. It was nuts.

I finally got off the pill, dealt with my stress, put all the sadness to the side, reduced lactose intake and ...my skin started clearing up. But then i was left with all these red/brown spots, and scars..and bunch of bull from my acne.

I tried this cream...and till today I'm still seeing how its been helping my skin. Its not an over night thing, you gotta use this product for a least six months to see a COMPLETE turn over. I used this cleanser just three times and broke out in a horrible itchy, scaly red rash all over my face and neck; my lips even swelled up and are peeling! I can't leave the house and can't stop itching. If not for being so self-conscious, I would include a picture. Bummer.

Do not be fooled into thinking this will be a gentle cleanser simply b/c it claims it's "natural". I have never had such a severe reaction to any other skin care in my life. I will say that I have sensitive skin, but on the back of the cleanser it states that there are calming ingredients to soothe skin. Yeah right! If I could I'd give this negative 5 stars.

I'm surprised to see people have had reactions to this face wash. It is my favorite! It cleans my combination skin beautifully and despite living in a very dry climate, it has never dried my skin out excessively (and I used it twice a day). I feel like this face wash controls my breakouts and lathers really nicely. I like that it's not made with dangerous ingredients like parabens or synthetic fragrance.

I have oily skin, and like a previous reviewer said, I have never had a bad skin reaction to any product before, until this one. It cleansed my face well and removed my makeup, but several days after I started using it, I notied dry, itchy, red patches on my cheeks. After a few more days, it had also dried on my nose and around my mouth. I returned the product where I bought it (Whole Foods), but even now, after not using it for a week, my skin and lips are terribly dry, itchy, and peeling. I am constantly using moisturizer on my face and cocoa butter on my lips (and again, I have oily skin, so I rarely ever moisturize) and my skin is still so dry. My lips are so dry around the edges that they almost feel numb. What did this face wash do to me!?

I love everything NUXE! This is a thick shower gel. It has a very strong honey scent to it. I put it on at the end of my shower, again, to make sure it stays on my skin better. It is very softening for dry skin. It takes very little, as it is so concentrated. I think it will last quite a long while. I wish it had the scent of the famous NUXE oil, but then, it couldn't have the honey in it! The French really know how to do skin products.

I have loved all the NUXE products I've tried. I actually bought this one to leave in my guest bath/shower. I am so incredibly thrilled with this cleanser. I am a stressed out college student, and have been struggling with acne mostly on my chin for almost a year now. My mom's dermatologist recommends this product, and for good reason! After a week of using it, I started noticing fantastic results. I've stopped scrubbing my face with a wash cloth (that's a huge no-no). Also, I never use warm or hot water to wash my face. I always use luke-warm water, and then I follow up by rinsing with straight cold water. It helps to close off those pores after you clean them out. I pat my face dry with a clean towel (don't use the same towel you use to dry your hands). Then I finish by using Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer with 15 or 50 SPF. Either one is fine. I swear by Cetaphil products, now.

This stuff goes a long way. I bought a large bottle last year and I am still using it. You don't have to use much to clean your face either, using a lot would just be a waste of soap.

I have an oily T zone and very dry cheeks. It has been hard to find a gentle cleanser that gets the oil off but keeps the cheeks as they are. This stuff ROCKS. I love this product! It does a thorough job at removing oil and makeup but is still gentle on the skin and non-drying. I personally prefer this to the Gentle Skin Cleanser because it seems to clean my skin more effectively. I read the review that said the fragrance is unbearable, and I find that odd since the scent to me is so mild. While I'm washing my face I really don't notice a distinctive odor at all. I guess this can be very individual, though. I highly recommend this product.

Sick of wasting money on hoity-toity lines that only managed to make my oily skin oiler or worse yet scaly (!) I decided to find a cheaper, more effective option. I've been using my bottle of "Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser" for months now and though the big clunky bottle isn't pretty, I can easily stuff it in my closet away from all but the most nosiest guests. This is a good foaming soap, and like all coconut oil soaps, gets the grime off easily. However if you are one of the thousands of people reactive to citric acid, this product has citric acid as an ingredient.

I had read positive reviews on the Avon website so I thought I would try this product. I am in my late 20's and I have had persistent acne. These days my breakouts are around my jawline and chin. Before using this product I used Oil of Olay and Neutrogena. Olay didn't seem to clean enough and the latter dried out my skin. Great product to use for pets who're not fans of baths or need a little scent booster between baths. Our two cats don't seem to mind it, both purring during a few minutes of a "foam bath". Our dog seems to prefer it over her monthly bath. Easy to use and apply, no gross strong scent and quick to dry. Obviously avoid the area around the eyes and ears. Small amount of foam should be enough, lather and massage into fur until dry.

I am so glad I bought this. I actually bought it because I'm transitioning to a CRUELTY-FREE lifestyle, eliminating products that have been tested on animals. That was selling point #1. I was using bargain brand shampoo before this one because I'm a student on a budget, but this product was worth the money to me, and I will be buying again.

I have been dealing with the blistering type of hand eczema for almost one year now and bought this body wash hoping it would be great. During an eczema flare up it really made it worse but on the non flare up days it didn't bother it too much.

Other than the bad areas on my hands, my skin is pretty normal and this product tends to dry it out. It doesn't leave you feeling silky smooth and it certainly doesn't leave it smooth for long.

Maybe the alcohol content is high in this product compared to others ?

I had been using Aveeno body wash for years and then I discovered thanks to an Amazon reviewer (confirmed on Aveeno website) that it has a chemical in it to produce suds (same one used in car wash). I switched to Toms and am very happy with it. It is odor free and produces enough suds to wash your body without chemicals.

I've found it hard to find natural soaps that guys want to use. The market selection is pretty limited when it comes to soaps without floral or similar scents. This product fits the bill (no scents) and works great. Although the soap is not as "thick" as other products, it cleans as good as any other soap, foams fairly well and washes clean. My skin doesn't feel as try anymore as well, which I think is due to the soap.

The price for the four pack is what I was paying when my local drug store carried it. They only carry the Lavender version now, so I'm glad to find this online. Will definitely order again.

This product is fantastic. I have been happy with every BWC product I have bought. It isn't anti-dandruff shampoo, so a person needing treatment for that may not be satisfied with this product. It smells great. Not overpowering at all and my hair feels silky and shiny.

I have really dry, itchy, flaky scalp, but really oily hair, so this shampoo is absolutely perfect for me!! It's a huge huge huge lifesaver for my poor hair and scalp!!!

First of all, the mint and citrus in the shampoo does wonders for my oily hair. I can actually go 3 days without washing the hair (I used a showercap because I didn't think I needed to wash my hair in the shower) and the hair only starts beginning to look greasy at the roots on the 4th day. I used to get super greasy hair literally the day after I washed my hair, so this is a HUGE improvement!!!

Secondly, the rosemary and tea tree is frigging amazing for my scalp. I love how it feels so much!! The tingly feeling (the mint probably also contributes) that I get when I put it on in the shower is so soothing for my itchy scalp!!! For the 1st couple of days I no longer have dandruff with this shampoo, but my scalp starts itching again after the 1st day unfortunately, but I'm willing to live with it. It's much less itchy than it used to be. My scalp used to itch like crazy only an hour after washing my hair!!

It lathers well, so don't need to use too much of it. It smells great, WORKS WONDERS for me! I even asked my friends and family how they think my scalp looks, and they say they're amazed by how healthy it looks! (It used to look flaky and have the occasional red scratch mark)

g-maher Vibrating Facial Cleaning Kit

The item is shown with many attachments but received only two heads. The wand works fine but keeps separating from the bottom part of the handle which is a problem because it tends to loose power from the batteries. Had to tape the handle together to stop this from happening.

This is the first of the philosophy bath products I have tried. I wanted to use it mostly as a bubble bath. For the money, I am somewhat disappointed. The smell and bubbles were fine, but I expected more of a realistic strawberry smell for this much money. The smell had a slightly chemical/ plasticy element to it (like most fake fruit products smell). As a shampoo, it seemed fine, but nothing amazing for the money. As a shower gel, it again did the job, but I did not notice a particular difference in my skin from my normal moisturizing soap. Both as a gel and in the bath, the smell filled the bathroom. But, I did not notice it long afterwards either in the room or on my skin. All in all, an OK product, I guess I just expected more.

i bought this for my soon to be wife as a birthday gift. when it arived, i opened up the bottle to see if it really smelled like a strawberry milk shake. let me tell you, it is amazing!!! while showering the entire bathroom smells wonderfull. it is a very relaxing feeling.

I use this 3-in-1 stuff all the time I love being able to just use the same product head to toe. I hesitated to buy this online since I couldn't smell it beforehand (and I LOVE some of philosophy's scents and HATE others) but I didn't like any of the scents available at my mall, and strawberry milkshake just sounded so good. When it first arrived and I peeled off the inner cap to smell it, my heart sank it had this plasticky fake-strawberry smell, like the scented-plastic Strawberry Shortcake doll I had when I was little. I suffer from dermatitis, whereby, just about any product can can cause a severe allergic reaction. I need some type of acid, however, to keep my skin clear and bright. This product works very well as a gel cleanser and removes impurities. I generally use a specific cleanser to remove makeup, but this is great for everyday and especially for post-workout. My only complaint is that it is a small bottle and does not last that long with regular use, but i will continue to buy because it has not irritated my skin and I love the ingredients.

I love the Juice beauty line and feel totally safe about using it during pregnancy. Only qualm is that the bottle is much smaller then I expected and doesn't last very long. I'm not sure how it does at taking off makeup as I don't wear much more than powder on my face, but I would recommend it as a daily cleanser. Doesn't iritate or dry, nor does it leave skin oily. A good basic cleanse.
