This is, without question, BEST home microdermabrasion machines ever! If I could leave 5+ star, I would.

I've had couple of different microdermabrasion machines in the past. However, all of those home microdermabrasion machines require monthly replacement of the tips and continue filter replacement. In addition, it lose suction quickly that eventually, you have to replace entire unit. Just 8 month ago, I bought NuBril Microderm machine and it already losing suction power. It has so little suction power that it does so little to help my skin now.

But, SkinVac Pro, it's just one time investment. Everything you need for home derma-abrasion is included in this package. There is no tips to replace and no filter to buy. How cool is that? Best of all, it works and works well! Some people mentioned that Vac is very loud, but it's no more than regular Vac. and you only have to use a few min, so it doesn't bother me. The sound of the vac means it has good suction. After all, dermabrasion means nothing without the suction.

When I received this product, I noticed right away that the vacuum is different than what is pictured, A smaller, hand-held vacuum is shown but I received a large, yellow, barrel style, wet/dry vac. It was WAY too large to keep in my bathroom. Also, this is the first time that I have ordered a microderm product so I didn't know what to expect. I ended up buying a different hand-held microderm system (since the SkinVac was too large) and noticed the HUGE difference in suction power. The SkinVac had suction but it wasn't much compared to the other system that I bought (PMD Microderm System). I have, so far, been happy with the PMD System.

Even though this isn't what I thought I was ordering, Amazon customer service is fantastic. I emailed with my problem and they responded very quickly and provided easy resolution.

I had professional microdermabrasions and they hurt so much, I didn't even finish the package. I wasted a lot of money and who can even imagine what microbes I was exposed to at that salon. The worst part was the terrible breakout that required injections by my dermatologist. "If I can't magically vacuum your pores, they certainly can't. I don't care WHAT they say they can do." It was humbling, painful, and expensive. Not to mention the embarrassing acne breakout while in my 40s. Well, if it was attention I wanted, I certainly got it.

The SkinVacMD has changed my skin care regimen forever! I have the ProDeluxe with Vacuum and it's my new best friend. (No talking back, it doesn't borrow my stuff, and it doesn't drink the last glass of wine.) For less than the price of ONE skanky salon treatment, I have my own high quality machine with extra tipsface, lips, and body. There are no filters to change, the cord is very long so it reaches anywhere, and the machine is small enough to pop into a cabinet or drawer. I have an unused (thank God) guest bathroom, so I leave mine on the counter where it's always available. Not to mention never, ever going to a salon for another treatment.

If the vacuum ever quits, I could use all the attachments on any vacuum I own because they are separate from the machine.

I never read instructions and found they weren't even necessary. Assembly is simple and there are two ways to control suction for sensitive skin. Or turn it up if you have barnacles requiring attention. The first thing I did was scrape the skin off my entire body. Every inch (well, I skipped a couple of important spots) is now smooth and soft. The second time I did it, I watched TV while I vacuumed. It's that simple. I thought the lip tip would never be used, but it does actually work better on my lips than the regular tip. I don't know if you're supposed to avoid the eyelids, but I use the lip tip there, too.

If you are waxing, machine tanning, spray tanning, or going to be in the sun, this machine is a MUST HAVE. You have to exfoliate before tanning or waxing to get the best results. I used this only twice before I went to the Bahamas and my skin was already glowing. All of my skin. My tan is perfectly even and beautiful. I live in Michigan and 10 days post-vacation, I still don't have that January dried-out post-tan alligator skin that all my friends are sporting.

After only two treatments, I believe I already see an improvement in those tiny, crepey lines on my arms and legs. (Insert obvious comment about sunscreen and tanning.) I know one of those million-freckle redheads who treated the back of one hand with her machine and that hand has NO freckles at all. Her entire body is freckled with the exception of her face and that one hand. (Now she just sounds like a weirdo.) That's absolute proof that this works. I concentrated on half of an 11 month old surgical scar and that half is just a little flatter than the untreated half.

I'm VERY excited to keep seeing results with my SkinVac. Michigan has anti-texting while driving laws, but they say nothing of doing a little vacuuming while behind the wheel...

Additionally, even my husband has noticed my smooth skin and he never notices anything. I went from brown hair to blonde and tattooed my eyebrows and eyeliner, all without his notice. When I received this product I wasn't quite sure of the vacuum because it was a little bit larger than my NB micro set. However the size is not an issue for me. I love the stainless steel diamond tips. They work great with the vacuum which has more suction than my NB. The tips fit my NB but I still prefer the power of skin vac. It feels and handles more like a commercial grade dermabrasion. In addition the tips do not require replacement and clean easily. My skin feels incredibly soft and smooth after each use. I use my derma vac twice a week and will start using it on my daughters acne scars. I work in a women's center and I am told all the time how young and beautiful my skin looks. I have nothing but positive things to say about Skin Vac.

I having been using SkinVac with my at home vacuum and have gotten great results but found it difficult to use the universal cylinder attachment because my hose had little flexibility. When I use the universal cylinder tip with the pro deluxe machine it is very easy because the hose it comes with is very flexible and a good length. I also notice increased suction from my at home vacumm and the deluxe even has a open and close slot on the hose to increase or decrease suction. It comes with a black bag for storage which is nice. A think an added bonus is that you have a seperate vacuum for your face so you don't have to worry about dust from your at home vacuum. I would recommend this system, its as strong as any spa I've had it done at and with all the different tips and control over the amount of suction it is easy to adjust to your skin type and needs.
