This product has been a disappointment. Although it does absorb quickly into the beard, it fails to leave adequate lubication on the face causing the blade to drag. It takes a considerable amount of the product to provide a smooth shave and the heavier the beard, the more you'll need. It does have a pleasant fragrance and it also comes in some nice packaging. Directions do say to use a preshave oil which would certainly help with lubrication, however I find oil tends to clog the blades on the razor a bit if you don't use a straight razor.
