I have tried many, many, many face washes over the years. I find this one to be very gentle on my skin, leaving it super clean and very soft. Because it is easy on my skin, it doesn't cause breakouts or irritate my skin in any way. I am fair skinned and have have both oily/dry skin. It works beautifully and is worth the money (to me anyway). My skin has never looked better -I'm 43 years old and have been using this for 10 years now. I tried changing to a less expensive product from Alba, but my skin revolted (even though I'm sure it was a good product). It's just not worth messing with something that works so well.

I have tried many, many face cleansers (being as I have "combination skin", I've tried all types). This one, which I first tried while away on a women's retreat last winter, left my face feeling creamy soft and completely refreshed!

The product comes out as a white cream you don't need a large amount, so the bottle will last you quite some time. Upon contact, be prepared for a cool, refreshing, minty tingle (take care around your eyes as they will burn if the cream gets in them). The cream is almost masque-like in its composition, which further adds to its spa-like quality. It doesn't drip or foam. It's a lavish creamsicle for your face. :)

But all of the niceties aside...does it work? Well, during one of the hottest, most humid summers on record, this Illinois girl says absolutely it does! I'm not experiencing that oily summer "sheen", my break-outs are greatly decreased and I love, love, love the feeling of being pampered just by washing my face.

I love the smell of this cleanser. The combination of Bergamot, Lavender and Mint create a wonderfully fresh smelling scent, which to me is sort of an earthy mintiness.

I only need to use a small dime-size amount of this cleanser. It has the consistency of a thick lotion and develops into a nice frothy lather. While I could splash it off with water, I find that it's better to use a wash cloth to thoroughly rinse it off.

The results are really amazing. My oily T-zone feels clean but my cheeks (typically dry) don't feel tight or dry. Makeup is thoroughly washed off and the cleanser doesn't irritate my eyes I had been having some issues with minor breakouts but since using this cleanser for the past few weeks, my skin has seen noticeable improvement.

While this cleanser doesn't dry out the skin, I didn't find it to add moisture either. But with this type of cleanser I didn't have expectations that it would. In the past I have used a lot of cream cleansers (non-foaming) which were great for the dry skin, but didn't help much with the oily areas. Checks and Balances is the happy medium nice foaming action while managing to maintain skin's natural moisture level.

After one use of this product, I saw an immediate improvement on my very dry face. I use it in combo with Benefit's Dear John moisturizer and now my face is so much softer, it's almost unbelievable to me. The difference between night and day. I can't stop touching my face! You name the brand, I've used its face wash. Origins Checks and Balances does so much more than it says! I have combination skin, leaning more towards oily, and this clears my skin without drying it out. I noticed that this lasts beyond just a few hours of washing and keeps my face under control all day long. I use it twice a day with my Clarisonic brush and the results are phenomenal. My complexion is brightened, my face is shine freeI barely use make up! I would highly recommend this product if it works for your skin type. I tend to have annoying, heavy acne on the sides of my neck, occasionally in the middle as well. Since using this product for about a year now, I can control the acne on my neck now. I don't really have acne on my face anymore, but my neck can still be a problem. The worst it gets now is looking like it wants to break out, but never fully does. I hope that makes sense. I pair this with the acidolphilis (sp?) cream, and colostrum cream as a moisturizer. The two working together is key. Oh, and if you can afford it, purchase the larger quantity and bite the bullet. It will last you somewhere between 6 months and a year.

I love Epicuren products. I have the whole system (wash, toner, lotions, etc.) and would recommend it to anyone. My skin feels soft and clean.

Here we go again with the BBW summer hand soaps....

It's always wonderful to see the seasons change, but even better with all the wonderful new (and returning) scents that BBW has with each season. After being stuck in the cold for months, it's refreshing to finally dive into the wonderful scents of summer. After not really being wowed by Pomegranate Passion, I was a little skeptical about Mango Margarita. I know I enjoyed it when I sniffed it at the store (else I would not have bought it), but things can always change in actual use.

It's hard to describe the scent of Mano Margarita. It's got a faint fruit scent mixed with something that resembles a margarita. Though it smells good on my hands after use, it's not that powerful of a scent. It disappears quickly and doesn't really leave much of an impression -of any kind.

I wouldn't say that it's terrible, only that I'm a little disappointed. I'm just not excited about this scent, mostly lukewarm. I probably wouldn't buy it again, but don't mind that I tried it once.

I have tried just about every cleanser out there and this is my all time favorite. It leaves my skin feeling much more hydrated and moisturized compared to other cleansers. I swim laps 3 days a week so need a good cleanser for removing chemicals and any bacteria from the pool. This has worked great. I can't say enough about Exuviance products. They are worth every penny.

I have shoulder length, bleached hair. This has really good ingredients, and it left my hair feeling very clean without tangling it up. I didn't have to use a lot, and a little bit foams up really well. If this works well for me, I believe this would work well for babies.

I can mix a little with my favorite super gentle unscented shampoo/body wash combo and get just enough delicious scent without being too strong

having used dozens of shampoos, this is the only one my son loves that cleans refreshes, doesnt irritate, and the orange scent is relaxing at the end of a very active day to help him fall to sleep easily. i also use a little in some baths when he wants a relaxing bath with some bubbles, though not as bubbly as real bubble bath it is still fun, but he relaxes afterwards. my family is also chemically sensitive and there are very few fragranced items that are not irritating. If you are not sensitive, and have no sensitive friends you may use it full strength.

i rarely take the time to write a review, and this is worth it!

Dermalogica Skin Purifying Wipes

The wipes do the job and clean your skin but the smell is strong. The ingredient list is appealing and I have read other positive reviews. However for me the smell would be the reason I would not reorder.

I purchased this cleanser along with the nightime cream and I am not convinced of the cleaning powers in this cleanser. I don't feel much "scrub" happening and sometimes after using this I will use a pad from Neutrogena and see makeup still coming off (and I do not pile makeup on my face).

In the end the scent is nice and this moisturizes, but as for deep cleaning, I'm not sold.

This is a nice little facial scrub.

It has an extremely gentle texture. The cream goes on smoothly a little accomplishes a very nice facial cleansing.

This well priced product is very nicely balanced and equivalent to higher priced skincare products. The lotion has a mild granularity which helps it accomplish the task of a rejuvenating facial scrub. However, it goes on smoothly and is not irritating to the delicate skin of the face.

The container lends itself readily to use in the shower-apply and rinse off and enjoy smoother skin.

Nice product, give it a try-no downside. Aveeno has made many improvements in its skincare line!

Used this product for about 2-1/2 weeks before writing this review. I can easily see one tube lasting for 2 or more months as only a tiny bit is needed to massage into your face and neck when the skin is already wet.

I am very sensitive to allergens and have a problem with many chemical scents. The barely there scent is pleasant and only noticeable when I brought the tube up to my face for a sniff test. I don't notice it at all when applying the product.

My face does feel smoother than when just using my moisturizer alone, and I was surprised that this was accomplished with so little exfoliating granules. Although part of me wishes there was a tad more of them per application.

Apparently the detoxifying aspect of it works since I've broken out in a couple of places. That too seems to be gentle or I would have expected a much larger break out at once to get rid of the toxins in my pores.

Would I purchase this product when it runs out? Yes, I believe I will.

I love Aveeno products, and this one is no exception. The exfoliating particles are very fine, so you don't feel like you're sandpapering your face, and it smells amazing! I used to be able to see the dead, dry skin on my face after I put on my makeup, but I can't see that anymore...and I've only used it 3 times! Also, it doesn't dry out my skin like crazy, which is nice! This is a wonderful product!

I use this scrub every morning and night. The smell is clean and not overpowering. The scrubbing beads are tiny enough to effectively slough away dead skin cells without leaving your face looking and feeling raw. My one gripe about this cleanser is that it dries out parts of my skin. I have a very oily t-zone and the cleanser actually balances out this area very nicely, but the drier parts of my skin, i.e. the corners of my nose and lips, become ridiculously dry after washing my face. It got to the point where my moisturizer couldn't cut it anymore. I love how this scrub doesn't break me out, but maybe I should invest in a more heavier moisturizer or just get another cleanser.

I generally don't take the time to write a review for any products, even products that I genuinely love. For this product I will make an exception since I am overwhelmingly satisfied with the outcome and company.

Let me start off by saying my son is currently five months old and for the past three months he's had severe eczema. We first assumed it was an obvious food allergy that was causing his skin to break out, but after several stressfully-waited formula trials; we were able to find a miracle in a can, Neocate, this hypo-allergenic milk that worked. That is literally one of the most broken down baby formulas you can buy and not to mention very pricey. So you could imagine my stress once my son's eczema began to resurface.

The dreadful and much hated eczema randomly began to populate the back of his thighs, both arms, cheeks, and the back of his ears. He was miserable and constantly itching and crying. At this point I had enough and immediately began to research eczema like a mad man. After investing all my free time into finding the cause I was eventually able to find Exederm.

Now I've tried every moisturizer, cream, oil, soap, shampoo, intensive moisturizers, and even ointment's just to be upset over and over again. I've been disappointed by Johnson's, Aveno, Aquaphor, and every other company out there. All these products contained some sort of oil, fragrance, or chemical that was harmful to my poor son's skin. I then researched the National Eczema Associations website and started to find better products which were Aveno extensive care, Cetaphyl, and Mustella. They all contained some sort of potentially harmful ingredient or irritant. Mustella seemed to be working the best, but then stared to irritate his eczema. Then I read the ingredients and saw that it contained Almond oil along with some other oils in there that can irritate eczema. I immediately stopped using Mustella (Which scored a 5/5 on the NEA website) and decided to try the last product from the national Eczema association to score a 5/5, Exederm.

I've literally could see an immediate difference within the first two days. His skin stopped inflating and slowly began to get lighter and lighter. I've been applying the creams, using the soaps, and using the bath oil and within two weeks his eczema is almost non-existent. I've been struggling for four months now and finally found a good product.

Some reviewers and people will say this product doesn't moisturize, it doesn't feel good, it goes on weird, it has a weird consistency, and all of the above. That's great, but this product wasn't made to be the #1 moisturizer and it wasn't made to be the perfect intensive hydrating formula. This product was made specifically and only to cater to those who suffer from Eczema, allergies, dermatitis, sensitive, or those who simply don't want to apply a whole pile of C*ap on their skin.

I can't speak for everyone, but I can say for us this company has been a miracle. Do your own research, simply look at the ingredients and you'll see what all these other products contain. Go to their websites and determine what best fits your baby's needs (or yours). This is a great product, providing a great cleansing of the skin and leaves a long-lasting healthy skin feeling. Definitely worth using on a regular basis. I love it.

I didn't know what to do about my neck, it was embarrasing. It looked like it was "painful" some folks said. I constantly got ingrown hairs and pimples on my neck. I didn't know what to do. I tried medicated aftershaves, some with alcohol in them OUCH!

Finally I started doing some research and found that a good cleanser might help me out, so I decided to try this nivea, I had seen commercials for it. I used the cleanser and the balm (aka aftershave). I also made sure that I was doing my best to help the situation by switching my shaving technique. Most importantly shave with the direction your hair grows, not against it, that reduces the inflammation. Rinse with cool water not hot, this also reduces the inflammation. Use a cleanser, I recommend nivea, and a decent aftershave lotion, again I recommend nivea.

Within a week or so my neck dramatically improved, it isn't perfect, but it looks and feels much better.

This is a great product. I have very oily skin that typically shows a little bit of acne. I wanted to improve my skin at least a little so I purchased this product along with Nivea's enrgizing gel to apply morning and night. I was rather pleased with the results. My skin isn't perfect, but the improvement was very noticeble both visually and sensually. My skin looks and feels much better through regular use of this product. This face wash has a very delicate, smooth feel to it when being applied, and it's extremely refreshing. It is not a miracle worker but without a doubt a great face wash.

I've used Nivea face products for men for several years and have found them to be consistently great products and have no reservations about recommending them. The double action wash cleans my face gently and effectively even after working in the heat and humidity and makes you feel refreshed. I believe this is a new formula and new label, as I think the old one was made in Germany and this one is now made in France and has a little more "mintyness" still very good. I've been using Nioxin Shampoo and Scalp therapy (conditioner) for fine hair for 5 years. It did make my hair feel fuller and stopped hair from appearing in my brush and on my pillowcase. I recently ordered a new supply from Amazon and found the smell and texture of both products to be different. Checking on the internet, Procter and Gamble recently bought out Nioxin and changed the formula! I checked my old bottle with the new and the ingredients are very different. The conditioner is very gloppy and greasy feeling and difficult to rinse out. The shampoo is more runny and doesn't have the minty smell. My hair doesn't have the body it had with the old formula. My hairdresser suggested I switch to Bosley.

About the same time, Dr. Oz was on Oprah telling everyone to get shower filters in their showerheads to eliminate the toxins, including chlorine. This made sense. So I dutifully went to Home Depot and bought a showerhead with a filter that changes every six months and the Nioxin Therapy, which my hair-cutter recommended. I read the ingredients and its Greek to me, but the hair therapy is amazing. Leave it on for three minutes and your scalp feels tingly. Rinse it out and the tingly sensation stays for another five minutes or so. After one year, I noticed my hair did not seem to be thinning anymore and it was soft and I could comb it anyway I wanted. It's just healthier.

So why not five stars? Well, Nioxin is expensive, so although I highly recommend it, I also recommend that you buy the 1,000ml bottles. They are a better deal. I've also tried the Nioxin Shampoo and the Nioxin Scalp Treatment. These are nice, but also expensive. I'll settle just for a gentle cheap shampoo and the Nioxin Therapy.

Have used Nioxin for years because of thinning hair, which it has slowed dramatically (I believe it would have stopped the loss completely if I'd used the other parts of the system, i.e., "Scalp Treatment" and "Follicle Booster" .. I've used only the shampoo, called "Cleanser," and the conditioner, called "Scalp Therapy").

Scalp Therapy nourishes the hair follicle. It is pleasantly cooling on the scalp. After rinsing, it also leaves my hair feeling and looking its best. Nioxin is expensive, but very worth it if you can make room for it in your budget.

I don't know if this was Amazon or a change by Nioxin, but this is not the same product. I've used Nioxin System 2 for years and my hair has always been full and healthy while using it. However, the last bottle I received from Amazon put my hair right back to how it was before I started Nioxin thin and frail. I will not be buying this product through Amazon any longer and I strongly suggest anyone considering this product to look elsewhere. Hopefully this was not a change by Nioxin.

UPDATE: It was a generic product sent to me. Nioxin is great, I just recommend getting it from a reputable source so you know you're getting the real thing. I highly recommend System 2.

I LOVE this face wash. I have had acne for years and in the last year or two, I've gotten a lot of wrinkles under my eyes too b/c of severe allergies (I'm only 25). I use Himalaya Turmeric and Neem face wash and Trillium Organics Oil Free Face Scrub with Tea Tree and Witch Hazel and the Himalaya Nourishing Night Cream even during the day and my face hasn't looked this good since I was 5.

This face wash, even on its own, is phenomenal. Sometimes I don't make it through the whole ritual and my skin still looks great. Try it, you won't go anywhere else :)

My skin recently broke out in severe acne, and any kind of soap was extremely irritating to my face, even many soap free cleansers i used were very drying and irritating. This one was not irritating, has GREAT ingredients, and i really think it is helping with my acne, as well as with red marks. Plus it's a great price! Love this stuff. As I have everything in their line. It gently removes makeup and leaves skin baby soft. I haven't felt it contributed to any breakouts and leaves skin dewy. Give it a try, you will like it. I have already gone through two bottles. I gave up all my Arbonne products for Natures Gate and haven't regretted it one day.

This was a nice cleanser. It has a lightweight lotion consistency and a soft, pleasant smell. I have sensitive skin and it did not cause any irritation. I can think of nothing bad about this product, but it was nothing spectacular.

Hand Wash Citrus Splash by Nature's Paradise 8 oz

I have a history of eczema on my hands, and after about a week of using this instead of the mildest softsoap I'd been able to find, the eczema was completely gone. That's a significant positive, and vastly preferable to slathering heavy duty steroid cream over my hands. In addition, I have nasal allergies and vasomotor rhinitis which makes me sensitive to fragrances of all types, but the fragrance in this is nice and light and not at all perfumey. It also has the benefit of not lingering for a long time after use, which for me at least is a plus. (I don't need my hand soap making me sneeze an hour after I used it.)

In short, it's allergy-free heaven for both my skin and my nose.

There is, however, a downside: the soap seems to be very drying. It doesn't feel harsh upon use and it lathers well, but after using it for several days both my husband and I noticed our hands were starting to feel dry and slightly rough.

Still, as mildly dry is much easier to deal with than constant itching, I'll take it.

Also, just to note: I've tried both the orange and vanilla scents, and the entirety of this review applies to both. (No allergies, both are rather drying.)

I didn't see much use for the, admittedly cute, white bathtub shaped basket. Until my mother suggested I use it in my bathroom to keep my small counter from being overly cluttered. She was right. It was perfect! The products were lovely to use and didn't irritate my sensitive skin. I had just discovered I was allergic to the lavender products sold by the same company. But it turns out it was the lavender, not the product.

Received this as a gift. It is so cheap and tacky looking that I was curious how much someone spent on what I could have picked up at the Dollar Store for under 10 bucks. The lotions and bath salts, etcetera are disgustingly low quality, I would never even consider using them. The wire basket that it's all packed in is laughable unless of course you like chicken wire shaped as a sleigh, but I think it's suppose to be a tub. Absolutely the worst gift I have ever received. Funny though. Save your money.
