i've been using this product for about a month or so and it is a nice astringent but i don't feel that it is truly mattifying. i still have oil that i deal with, especially on my forehead. i do not use this astringent with any other of the oily skin products in the Helan product line so that could make a difference. but i like the smell of this astringent and it feels light on my face. i would recommend this product for people with a slight oil problem.
